When darkness fell over the night sky, Samuel still couldn’t find and know the whereabouts of his girlfriend who was now in the hands of his enemies.
He didn’t understand where Megan had gone and how she had disappeared into thin air, but whoever had kidnapped her was someone who could not be underestimated and would be the target of Samuel’s wrath.
He would not hesitate to do anything if he found Megan, and she was hurt, he would definitely eliminate whoever was responsible for this.
"So you haven’t found her yet?" asked Vasco who walked out of the mansion where he saw his frustrated son standing in front of their mansion.
All the men had been mobilized to comb the city, but still they couldn’t find Megan anywhere. CCTV in Dormania was not that easy to access as it was the business of one of the mafia groups there.
That meant they had to make a deal or something to persuade the group to show the CCTV results.
"No, we haven’t found it yet. It’s really frustrating and I don’t know where else to look!" Samuel replied with a rough sigh feeling guilty for leaving Megan for a short while.
"You should know the consequences of having a lover who doesn’t come from a family like ours. Her life will be in danger because of what we have done," Vasco explained to his son.
"I’m sorry Father, I should have been more vigilant to protect her. But I took my eyes off her. I thought nothing would happen if I just left her for a minute to buy something." He looked very sorry for what happened this afternoon, wishing he could turn back time.
But now was not the time to sit back and regret everything but to fix what had happened. It was just that Samuel really couldn’t find any clues about Megan’s whereabouts.
Until suddenly he got a call from a number he didn’t recognize but Vasco said it could be from someone related to her. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
Hesitantly, Samuel picked up the phone and he heard a man’s voice speaking to him.
"Hello Lorenzo, How are you now? I’m sure you’re looking for someone right now," the man said which made Samuel gasp in surprise as he recognized the voice he was hearing right now.
"Cornor, so you’re the one who kidnapped my lover?" he asked with a feeling of annoyance when he found out who had done it.
Even from how the man on the phone said about someone Samuel was looking for, he immediately knew that it was Megan.
"It turns out you recognized my voice quickly. Yes, it is me, and I kidnapped your beautiful girlfriend. You won’t be able to find her."
"Don’t play games with me, tell me where she is or my group and I will destroy your base tonight," Samuel threatened in a voice that was both cold and serious.
Cornor laughed, however, because even if Samuel did that he would never see Megan. If Samuel really wanted her, he would have to come alone to a place where Cornor would tell him the location.
Vasco initially forbids Samuel to do so, as he believes it is a trap to kill him. Especially by using Megan as a hostage, it was clear that Cornor was up to something.
But Samuel couldn’t keep quiet, and this was his only hope of finding his girlfriend.
"I agree, I’ll come to the place you said but make sure that she’s there too," he replied which immediately made Cornor feel satisfied with the answer.
The phone was finally hung up, with Vasco asking Samuel to think carefully about his decision, and make a second plan if something did happen to him and Megan later.
"You have to make a plan B to handle this. You can’t go there without a Plan B. And make sure your decision is the right one and not get carried away by this moment." Vasco patted Samuel’s shoulder and squeezed it lightly, as if to give him confidence and support that Samuel could do it.
He nodded his head and started making other plans while waiting for Cornor to send the location where he should come.

In a dark warehouse, Cornor and his men had been waiting for Samuel’s arrival since a few minutes ago. In the center of the abandoned warehouse, they placed Megan who was still tied to her chair but her face had a few wounds from them hitting her.
She was deliberately seated in the center of the room, with a dimly lit lamp above her head, while Cornor and the rest of his men stood at the dark side of the warehouse to hide.
"Now we just have to wait for that damn man to come. And if he doesn’t come, we’ll kill her and send him this video," Cornor said as he grabbed Megan’s hair as she whimpered in pain from earlier.
"Better he doesn’t come and you kill me than you kill him!" she said.
Actually, Megan didn’t want it to end like that. There were still many things she wanted to do and she didn’t want to die right now. However, in the end she would still die even if Samuel came.
’But it’s better than him dying in the end. I guess I have to accept my fate like this. But if I’m going to die now in the end, I want to see Samuel one last time. As well as Sean, Odelia and Carmelia are all precious people to me,’ she thought at the time.
2 hours passed but there was still no word from Samuel. He didn’t show himself either which made Cornor run out of patience. Where was he?

He called Samuel stupid, saying that Samuel didn’t love Megan because he wouldn’t come for her. But Megan knew that he loved her very much, and he was definitely on his way to see her.
