When Megan was about to be shot by Cornor, a shot came first hitting Cornor’s man who was holding a camera. The camera fell out of his hand and shattered on the floor and the man was left helpless with a bullet in his head.

This shocked everyone including Megan who finally opened her eyes and saw who had shot Cornor’s men.

And once she opened her eyes, it was Samuel who finally came alone into the abandoned warehouse for her. He really came to save Megan, because he couldn’t let her go.

"Sam!" called Megan who wished he would just leave and let her die.

But of course Samuel didn’t listen to her, and continued to walk into the warehouse.

"You’re finally here, I’ve been waiting for you for two hours and now you come and kill one of my men? Don’t you think you’ve managed to defeat me," said Cornor who then grabbed Megan’s hair.

Samuel’s eyes widened when he realized that Megan’s face was covered in bruises, and her lips were bleeding slightly. It sparked his anger so he stared at the toner but his opponent laughed as if it was the expression he expected from Samuel.

"What’s wrong? You’re not happy to see me do this to your woman. Now you’ll understand how it feels to lose someone precious to you right in front of your face," he said.

"You better let her go before I kill you this instant." Samuel pointed his gun at Cornor threatening that he would actually kill the man if he still tied Megan up.

"This matter is between you and me, leave her out of it. Let her go then you can kill me after this!"

Megan disagreed, saying that it was better for her to die than Samuel. But Samuel snapped at her, telling her to keep quiet because he didn’t want to hear anything from her.

For Samuel, he would rather die than watch Megan die in front of him. He didn’t want to live with regret, guilt and the loss of someone he loved so much.

"You better shut up, because this is my business with that one asshole! You have nothing to do with it at all!"

Seeing this situation, Cornor laughed and was amused to see how Samuel and Megan fought to protect each other. They were willing to sacrifice each other so that one of them could stay alive.

"You two are so romantic, trying to sacrifice each other. It’s really ridiculous," he said.

He then said he would let Megan go if he dropped his gun and didn’t fight back when his men were about to beat him up. Samuel agreed and he wanted to see how Megan was released first.

Cornor’s men released the ropes that tied her to the chair, Megan tried to stand up even though her body felt so weak because it had been tied up since noon.

Seeing Megan being released, Samuel was relieved then he dropped his gun and kicked it towards Cornor while raising both hands that he was no longer holding any weapons.

"Quickly leave this warehouse, my keys are still in the car and you can take them back to the mansion. Pack your things and leave Dormania right now!" Samuel told Megan to get her car so she could leave the location.

But as if falling into a trap, Megan was hit on the head until she fell limp, and had difficulty moving her body which was in pain.

Samuel’s eyes widened in shock and he was furious that Cornor had attacked Megan. But at that moment Cornor’s men immediately beat Samuel as well as Cornor who fought the man.

Samuel was confronted by several people who he had to fight himself, but he was threatened if he dared to fight back then they would shoot Megan.

Megan watched as Samuel fought them off one by one but in the end he gave in and let them beat him up.

"No... Please stop! Stop, don’t hit him like that!" she said in a weak voice trying to drag her body closer to Samuel.

But she couldn’t because Samuel tried to stop her.

"Don’t come near me! I said don’t come near me. Get up and leave this place!" he said while trying to protect his head from the punches and kicks that Cornor’s men were giving him.

Megan was definitely not going to let this happen, let alone leave her boyfriend in this state.

’I have to do something! I can’t let Samuel get beaten up like that and just leave this place. Even if I go and get help, things could happen while I’m gone. I have to do something while I’m here,’ she thought as she tried to find a way to save her lover.

She didn’t want to go back alone, knowing that she was in danger, so Megan would do anything for her.

’Mr. Lorenzo has accepted me into his family. I’m now part of the Lorenzo family, the Dormania mafia and I can’t just stand by and watch my future husband get beat up like that,’ she said to herself as she tried to move, waking up from her current position and looking at the gun not far from her.

The gun that Samuel had dropped and kicked near Cornor’s feet, of course it was now near Megan.

With all the strength and energy she had left, Megan grabbed the gun and then staggered towards Cornor and his men.

Samuel was surprised to see Megan walking while carrying a gun in her hand, making them also stop beating him and stare at Megan.

"What are you trying to do? You won’t be able to fight us alone because you’re just a weak woman. Even your body is covered in wounds, so what can you do?" asked Cornor as he laughed condescendingly at Megan. Feeling that she would not be able to fight him.

But with a glare in her eyes, and Megan’s trembling hand raised, she aimed it right at Cornor’s head.

"I have never done this to anyone. I may be weak and helpless before you, but I am the future wife of the future head of the Lorenzo family. I am Megan Osbert, and I will not stand by and watch you harm my future husband!" she said loudly as she slowly pulled the trigger.

"I will do whatever it takes to deserve the name Lorenzo!"
