Chapter 70: Alron Adventurer Guild

Aiden looked out over the city landscape, watching the crowds of people going about their business.

Perhaps Aiden presence in the city furthest from Cain would allow him to escape the pursuit.

As usual, Aiden had to quickly find a place to stay, whether it was cheap or expensive. Still, he prioritized the place over price —he had a lot of money.

Lodging in the city center was the first choice, not only because it was close to the center of trade, but also because they had easy mobility if they had to go to some important places.

Aiden patted his magic pouch, bringing out his adventurer card. He was registered as an official adventurer in Cain’s adventurer’s guild.

But Aiden didn’t know if he could take on other missions in different guilds than the one he’d registered with.

"Where are we going?" asked Aurora, confused.

"We’re going to find a place to stay," Aiden replied.

Aurora nodded, as did Rachel. They continued to walk away from the city center area while taking note of the buildings on their right and left.

There were restaurants, equipment stores, boutiques, government buildings, arcades, to parks and cemeteries.

Aiden’s steps stopped when he saw the word Inn prominently displayed in front of one of the buildings.

The inn building looked old European in style, with classic ornaments on every floor. At a glance, Aiden saw that the building had four floors —the average building in town had 4-5 floors.

Aiden pointed to the place, Aurora and Rachel nodded. They followed wherever Aiden was going, including to the building.

The door opened, he saw a visitor with a woman. They were a couple. Faintly audible, they chose the love room for one night.

’Love room? Does this place also have rooms for sex?’ Aiden asked.

After their business was done, it was Aiden’s turn to arrive at the reception desk. The reception staff smiled broadly, welcoming their guests in a friendly manner.

"Welcome to the Castion Inn. May I help you?" the woman asked.

"Yes, I’d like to book a room," Aiden replied.

The staff woman looked back, staring at the two women who had arrived with Aiden. With a big smile on her face, she held up a piece of paper and showed the price of the room.

Surprisingly, it wasn’t a regular room, but a love room!

"I-I didn’t book the love room," Aiden explained. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

"Ohh, I apologize for my mistake," the woman said, chuckling and embarrassing Aiden.

Again, she took out a paper with the prices of the regular rooms. There were three different room types, starting with regular, special, and palace.

The female staff began to explain the significant differences between the three room types, and Aiden listened carefully.

His choice fell on the palace room type, with a kitchen and bathroom, as well as a living room and a large bed. It was more than enough, reminding Aiden of his old apartment on Earth.

"The price per night will be 5 gold," the woman replied.

"I’m booked for 7 nights," Aiden explained, the woman in front of him smiling and starting to take care of the paperwork.

Aiden patted his magic pouch and took out 35 gold coins, then gave them directly to the staff. After receiving the money, Aiden got the room key.

Soon, Aiden walked off the ground floor to arrive at the fourth floor. He occupied Palace room number 2 with a stay period of 7 days.

Right when he got there and opened the door, Aurora gawked happily while running a bit into the room, Rachel also stepped happily.

Both of them thought that this was the best room they had ever stayed in, especially Aurora.

"I’m glad you’re happy," Aiden said.

"I’m really happy. It’s just like our first inn, only more spacious and cleaner," Aurora explained.

Every now and then, she opened the window curtains and looked out, revealing the beautiful landscape of Alron City at night.

Aiden stepped closer to the food cupboard, seeing that the inn staff had prepared canned food inside.

’There’s a kitchen and groceries, I think I’ll cook something for them later,’ Aiden explained.

Aurora tried the bed in the room, while Rachel went to the bathroom. Rachel called for her sister to come and see the bathroom, Aurora was getting excited and impatient to try the sensation of soaking in the pool of water in the bathroom.

They undressed and soaked together in the water, which was warm as they could set it to warm in an instant.

Aiden walked towards them, hearing for sure that they were enjoying this moment together. That made Aiden not want to disturb them.

"I’m going to the adventurer’s guild office in the city. You guys stay here," Aiden explained.

"Sure. Take care, Aiden. Don’t forget to bring food for us," Aurora said.

"Take good care of Rachel, Aurora. I’ll lock the doors and windows," Aiden continued.

"Of course, I’ll take good care of her."

’Alright. It’s time for me to look for information at the adventurer’s guild,’ Aiden said.

He walked away from the inn. From the city center, he could easily find the location of the adventurer’s guild.

As usual, the place was filled with adventurers going in and out, like the place never rested.

Aiden walked in and saw that the evening atmosphere in the adventurer’s guild office was quite lively, especially with adventurers who had just finished their missions.

"Welcome, how may I help you?" the receptionist asked.

Aiden took out his adventurer card and showed it to the woman. She took Aiden’s adventurer card and looked at it carefully, then responded with a smile.

"If you want to take the quest at the Alron City adventurer’s guild office, then you’ll need to change the location of your adventurer’s card," the woman replied.

"Is that possible?" asked Aiden.

"Of course. That’s easy," said the woman.

"The administration will be 5 silver," she explained.

Aiden cleared his throat. He took the money and gave it to the woman. Within minutes, his adventurer card was finished and complete.

Now, he could pick up the quests available in the bulletin.

The man nodded, stepping closer to the bulletin and looking at the available quests. They were all gone, with only 3 S-level quests, 1 SS-level quest and 1 SSS-level quest left.

’There’s no mission I can take,’ Aiden explained.

Unknown to Aiden, someone sitting in the cafeteria noticed the beast taming pattern in Aiden’s hand.

Her attention was immediately drawn to Aiden, as she wondered what kind of beast Aiden was taming.

"Look, Rio. We have a fellow beast tamer here."
