Infinite wealth In A New World-Chapter 379: Blood Rain
Jenner turned around in shock, watching as black energy smokes appeared all over his body, leaking from his pores. The integration had begun.
"It’s all up to you," she whispered. "If you survive, you become the leader of a realm. But if you lose, you die and Lord Ezekiel get resurrected in your body." She muttered grimly.
SCREECH!!!
A rogue spider, bypassing the chaos upfront, leaped into the air from the flank. It aimed its fangs towards Sunny’s exposed neck.
But before it could even get close, a bolt of silver lightning struck it.
ZAP!
It didn’t even scream; it simply turned into ashes midair.
"You aren’t getting through me!" She stated, her eyes flashing dangerous silver.
She looked at her companions, who were enjoying themselves a little too much.
"Are you two playing around?!! Look at these spiders who escaped you! TSK! It seems you have all gotten weak." She shook her head lightly, feigning disappointment.
The taunt worked instantly.
"Weak!!"
Sadie appeared above the air, his vanity wounded. His ten swords began to spin rapidly around him, generating a vortex.
"Did you just called us weak?!!!"
Rebecca cut off five legs of a spider with a karate chop, turning towards Jenner in rage, her golden aura flaring up.
"Of course, look around you! You two are weak!" Jenner taunted again, pointing at a few stragglers.
"I will show you who is weak!!" Sadie yelled.
His Primordial energy exploded outward, and his ten swords instantly multiplied into thousands, covering the entire sky like a terrifying blue steel rain.
"I am not weak!!!"
Rebecca smashed her fists together. A golden avatar flickered into existence over her, and instantly, four hands burst out from her back, adding to the two, making six arms of pure kinetic energy.
"I will crush you all to the ground!!!"
They yelled in unison, shooting towards the sea of spiders with apocalyptic power.
’Fufufufu... It is so fun getting them all flared up.’
Jenner thought with a smile, folding her arms while watching the carnage before her. She glanced back at Sunny, who was writhing in the red rain. They would buy him the time; the rest was up to him.
___
[Phoenix Nation]
[One Month Later]
The once-majestic spires of the Phoenix Nation lay in ruins, the eternal fires that used to warm the city now replaced by an unnatural, biting frost. The air was frigid, thick with the scent of ozone and chilled ash.
"My Lord, what should we do?"
A man of the Phoenix race, his vibrant red robes tattered and stained, knelt on the frozen ground. His head was bowed so low it nearly touched the ice. This was the Crown Prince, yet he trembled like a commoner.
Standing before him was a figure that seemed to absorb the very light of the sun. He was a being made of living, translucent ice, his form shifting slightly like a glacier. His white, pupilless eyes were fixed on the sky, indifferent to the suffering around him.
"Eldoria have proven themselves, and the other nations have all merged with them, providing additional supports and force," the ice man said, his voice sounding like grinding tectonic plates.
Eldoria had become a beacon, a gathering point for the survivors of the Great War which have lasted for five months. Their defiance was a pebble in his shoe, an annoyance he hadn’t expected from such a primitive world.
"How is the Phoenix’s weapon?" he asked, looking over his shoulder at the kneeling prince. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
"All ready at your command," the man said with a sharp bow.
"Really? I thought we will need the Queen for that?" The ice man’s voice carried a mocking edge.
"True, we need the blood of a royal family to start the weapon..."
"Haha!" The man turned his gaze back to the destroyed Phoenix nation before him, a landscape of frozen statues and shattered glass. "Then we don’t need Hazel... As her elder brother, you will do just fine."
The prince flinched, the realization of his own impending sacrifice hitting him, but he did not move. "Yes," he whispered, his loyalty born of absolute terror.
DROP.
"Huh?"
The prince blinked. A dark, viscous liquid had landed on the back of his hand. It wasn’t water. It was deep, metallic red.
The two stared at the drop of blood, then raised their heads to the sky. The clouds above had turned a bruised, sickly purple, and then, with a silent roar of the wind, the blood rain started falling in earnest.
"A god is dead?" The ice man was genuinely stunned. His cold, stoic expression shattered into a mask of disbelief. His eyes widened, reflecting the crimson sky.
"A god? Do you mean a god rank warrior?" The prince kneeling behind him asked in confusion, his mind unable to grasp anything beyond the scales he knew.
"You dare compare your god rank warriors to true gods?!" The ice man snapped, his aura exploding outward and cracking the ice beneath their feet.
"Your god rank is just a rank created by you low world’s creatures! The true gods are beyond this world... They are the pillars of worlds, how can your normal god rank warrior compare to them!!" He yelled in rage, his voice echoing through the ruins.
The prince quickly placed his forehead on the frozen ground, his body shaking. "I apologize for my ignorance my lord! I understand... But." He risked a look up, his face painted red by the rain. "If a god is so powerful, why would one die?"
"Although they are gods, they aren’t invincible... I don’t know what caused this." The ice man said, his anger fading into a chilling curiosity. He raised his head to the sky, letting the warm blood rain roll down his frozen face, feeling the faint, dying echo of a cosmic power.

[Eldoria]
The Great Hall of the Eldorian Castle was filled with the heavy scent of iron. Outside, the world had turned a terrifying shade of scarlet.
Josephine, Morgana, Jinx, Star, Ellen, Falkor and his family, Hazel, Lola, Sasha, and Gioh all stood huddled near the grand balcony windows. The silence was absolute, save for the rhythmic drumming of the blood against the glass.
"This... A god is dead."
Morgana, the only one among them whose lineage and study reached into the ancient mysteries, spoke first. Her face, usually so composed and sharp, was deathly pale. She looked as though she were seeing the end of the universe.
"A god?" The group turned to her in unison, their faces filled with shock.
"Yes... A God isn’t someone in the god rank... This is caused because a true god is dead, someone who has control of a realm and law! The realms are all crying blood due to his or her death." She said, her voice trembling.
"Realms?" Ellen looked up at her, her brow furrowed in confusion. The term felt too big, too abstract for their current struggle.
"Yes." Morgana nodded slowly, her eyes unfocused as she recalled forbidden texts. "I don’t know much, but there are worlds beyond the ones we know. And each are classified into realms... Just like ours. The lower, upper, great, and Supreme worlds are all one realm... This is all I know."
Her words silenced the room. For months, they had fought for their planets, their solar system, thinking they were at the center of a galactic war. Now, the sky was telling them they were merely a tiny corner of a much larger, much bloodier tapestry.
At the moment, the whole four worlds were in chaos. From the highest peaks to the deepest valleys, everyone was paralyzed. They stared at the blood rain in horror, shock, and disbelief. But mostly, they felt a crushing weight of fear—the fear of the unknown, and the terrifying realization that whatever was powerful enough to kill a God might be coming for them next.
Josephine clutched her stomach, feeling a kick. She looked at the red horizon and whispered a silent prayer, wondering if Sunny was under this same sky, or if he was the reason the heavens were weeping.
