Infinite wealth In A New World-Chapter 387: Black Hole
"..."
"Want me to explain? I will rather not... Moved out of the way, fast!!" She suddenly yelled.
Instantly, the Star Ship moved to the side with so much force that Morgana and Hazel lost their balance, falling to the ground.
WHOOSH!!!!
They watched as a red beam of light—thick, concentrated, and devastating—shot out from the surface of Eldoria. It moved with incredible speed towards the skull, piercing the heavens.
"This?"
The Ice Man, now the size of a moon, was too big to dodge.
BOOOOOOM!!!!!
It accurately smashed into the ice skull. The beam, powered by the core of the planet itself, disintegrated the ice. A cloud of dust and smoke rose into the air, stunning Morgana, Hazel and her brother.
"Was that Eldoria’s weapon?" Morgana asked, slowly getting to her feet, awe in her voice.
"Yep... I was worried how I will hit him with the weapon when he’s so small, but thanks to his attack. The weapon could easily target him."
BOOOOOOM! 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
The Ice Man flew out of the explosion, stabilizing himself in space. He was no longer pristine. Half of his face was burnt off, utterly black, his eye gone, revealing the raw energy beneath.
"Ahhhh!!! How dare you?!!!" He screamed, his voice distorted and glitching.
Thousands of ice spears appeared all over space, surrounding the Star Ship from every angle.
"No matter what happens today!! I will make sure I kill you!!! I will crush your bone step by step still you have nothing left!!!! That is a promise!!!!"
BOOOOOOM!!!
All the spears shot forward with deadly accuracy, aiming at the ship to turn it into a pincushion.
"Now!!" Josephine yelled.
Out of thin air, Mercenaries and drones appeared. They smashed into the ice spears, using their bodies as shields, and in unison, unleashed a barrage of green-tipped missiles towards the enraged monster.
"Fools!!"
The Ice Man didn’t bother to dodge; he intended to tank the explosion.
BOOOOOOM!!
The attacks smashed into him. To his shock, the force threw him backwards, burning through his remaining defenses.
"What... What is this?" The Ice Man looked at his body. He saw glowing green lines moving from the point of contact, spreading like gangrene across his ice form. His regeneration was failing.
"Between your ice body and Star’s poison... Who’s much stronger." Josephine asked with a smirk.
"Impossible, this... This is Basilisk’s poison!" The creature was horrified, recognizing the substance capable of rotting any powerhouse.
"Yes."
Josephine said, staring at him with a frown. Her voice was calm, cutting through the chaos of the vacuum, anchored by her unshakeable conviction.
"Hahaha! True, Basilisk’s poison can surely kill me! But this amount can’t do me anything!!" The Ice Man yelled.
His laughter was manic, vibrating through the link. As he spoke, the green necrosis spreading across his shoulder was halted. Fresh, pristine ice crystallized rapidly over the injury, freezing the rot in place and sealing the wound with a layer of permafrost harder than diamond.
"What of Star?" Josephine asked, ignoring his regeneration and turning her head to Morgana.
"Star is currently in her tribulations... She isn’t ready to fight now. We can’t even stop them." Morgana turned her head from the creature to Josephine, her eyes scanning the data streams on the console.
"From the looks of it, each one of them will break through the God rank in any moment from now and step into the first order..." She said, her voice tinged with disbelief.
In the cultivation world, the gap between the Ninth Order and the First Order was an abyss that few crossed. Yet, Sunny’s subordinates were leaping over it in droves.
’I wonder what Sunny is up to...?’ Morgana thought, her mind racing. ’Even when he’s a seventh order, this guys didn’t get this strong. What freaking rank is he on that all his subordinates are gaining this much from it?’
She looked back at Josephine, who stood like a statue amidst the shaking bridge.
’I wonder how she is holding this much energy back, I don’t even think I can handle it. Or are the kids assisting her?’
The energy radiating from Josephine was dense enough to crush a lesser being, yet she contained it, prioritizing the safety of her unborn children over her own ascension.
"All of you!!! Die!!!"
The Ice Man’s scream shattered their thoughts. His aura flared, turning from a chilling blue to a void-like black.
"Calm down my Lord!! You’ll get me killed!!" The Prince yelled in horror, feeling the gravitational pressure emanating from his lord crushing his own barrier.
"I don’t care!! No matter what happens today!! I will destroy this planet!!!"
BOOOOOM!!
The fabric of space screamed. All the ice debris floating in the sector moved behind the Ice Man. It didn’t just gather; it compressed. The millions of tons of ice imploded into a single point of infinite density, and then exploded, tearing a hole in reality.
A swirling, hunger-filled black hole formed in space, its accretion disk spinning with violent dark energy.
"...?!!"
"What the hell??!!"
Everyone was stunned, staring at the spinning dark maw of the hole. It was a tear in the universe itself. Without a second of wasting, it started pulling everything towards it—debris, light, and ships.
"AHHHHH!! Help me my Lord!!!!!"
The Prince screamed, but his lord simply ignored him.
In a blink, he was dragged backward, and got swallowed by the hole. The Prince was gone—erased from existence.
"Today!!! I will watch this planet get devoured!! You think you’re something great!! Today!! I’ll show you all the meaning of despair!!" The Ice Man yelled.
"That’s another forbidden skill! I will have to stop him!"
Morgana didn’t hesitate. She raised her hand into the air, her fingers glowing with ancient power. She started engraving ancient words on midair, the runes burning with crimson light against the darkness of the bridge.
"Seal lock!!" She yelled, and slammed her palm on the floating words.
BAM!
Magic rippled out from the Star Ship, expanding to encompass the entire globe behind them. A massive golden chain appeared all over the planet. It materialized from pure spirit energy, wrapping around Eldoria’s atmosphere like a cage, holding the planet in place against the terrifying pull of the black hole.
"Oh?! You think this can save your planet?!! You are so wrong!"
The Ice Man saw the defense and sneered. He clenched his fists, channeling all his spirit energy. His physical form began to wither, his skin turning grey as he burned his very life force, sending every ounce of it into the black hole to increase its mass and pull.
"This is crazy! He is sacrificing his vitality and spirit energy just to power up this skill! If this continues..." Morgana grit her teeth, feeling the strain on her golden chains increasing by the second.
Josephine nodded at Morgana’s words. She turned her gaze, calm and commanding, to the grieving woman beside her.
"Queen Hazel, I think it’s time to use your bloodline powers." She said.
Hazel turned to her, then looked out the viewport at the creature. She just watched her brother get eaten by the black hole. It was painful to watch helplessly—the last of her immediate family, gone because of his own foolishness and the cruelty of this monster.
But in that pain, she found clarity. She knew there was nothing she could do to save him, but there was everything she could do to save her home.
She closed her eyes. The air around her began to shimmer with heat.
WHOOSH!
Two magnificent flaming wings appeared on her back, burning not with ordinary fire, but with the holy, resurrecting flames of the Phoenix ancestor.
’I won’t sit back and watch Eldoria fall!’
She opened her eyes, and they were twin suns.
"Phoenix Heaven fire!!!" She yelled.
