Infinite wealth In A New World-Chapter 444: Yggdrasil
[Fourth Team — South Region, City Victoria]
Perran and Agora sat opposite each other, floating inches above the ground. Their eyes were closed tightly as they infused their immense, god-like energy into the four pillars between them. The air around them crackled with raw power, warping the light.
Yards away, forming an impenetrable perimeter, stood a legion of SS-Rank, S-Rank, and A-Rank Summoners. They stood guard with absolute discipline. To their left and right, countless powerful Summons—elementals, armored beasts, and spectral warriors—stood perfectly still, their forms shimmering with defensive magic, ready to die to protect the ritual.
Outside the city, projecting into the heavens, stood the same majestic 100-meter-tall statue of the God’s Shadow. But unlike the others, this statue’s hands were raised, transferring its divine energy directly into the atmosphere, spreading an invisible, stabilizing net all over the region.
___
[Third Team — North Region, City Zee]
Elara, Gabby, Cobra, and Violet sat in a precise square at the exact center of City Zee’s largest intersection. Every road leading to them was blocked by armored Summoners and their beasts, creating a fortress of flesh and magic to defend the four ladies and their dark, spiked pillars.
Outside the city, the identical 100-meter-tall statue towered over the landscape. But this one was different; its massive, stone eyes were wide open, glowing with an ethereal light. The energy it released didn’t shoot into the sky or the earth; it flowed like a gentle mist, entering the bodies of everyone in the entire realm, altering their mana signatures without them even knowing what was happening.
"Fufufu... Just good. Keep going. We have till tomorrow to succeed," Gabby purred, her eyes closed shut. Her twin daggers hovered in the air beside her, humming with anticipation.
"Yes. Soon, the realm will welcome a new King," Elara said solemnly, her eyes also closed.
Behind her, her massive red scythe hovered and spun on its own, cutting the air, keeping an autonomous guard over her physical body.
"That’s if the enemy is still in the dark," Cobra hissed softly, her palms pressed together in meditation. The viper around her neck tasted the air for danger.
"With the information we have, he’s always bored, and searching for entertainment... He won’t even know what we’re doing," Violet said, channeling her fire energy carefully to avoid scorching the others.
"What entertainment will hold such a strong being?" Gabby asked, genuine confusion breaking her focus for a fraction of a second.
"The Princes and Princesses’ battle," Elara answered, a devilish smirk playing on her lips.
It was the ultimate distraction.

[Center Region — Back to City X]
Jinx blinked, staring at Ellen. She was still lost as to why her younger sister was here in this ruined, hostile realm. Ellen was the King’s treasure; she should be back in Eldoria, overlooking the land and its people from the safety of the castle.
"Don’t look at me like that." Ellen sighed, raising her delicate hand. She snapped her fingers.
BOOM!
The surrounding space tore open like cheap fabric. Four spatial gateways appeared simultaneously. Jinx watched in awe as four pillars floated out, but these pillars were vastly different from the crude, spiked obelisks the other teams used. These were pristine, smooth, and cast from solid gold, radiating a pure, holy light.
"What are you doing?" Jinx asked in confusion, staring at the four glowing, ten-meter-tall golden pillars hovering above the scorched earth.
"What are these things?" She asked again, feeling an energy from them that she couldn’t quite comprehend.
"Stop asking, Big Sister. Besides, this is just a clone, it isn’t your true self," Ellen said calmly. She moved her hand gracefully through the air like a conductor. The four golden pillars followed the movement of her hand and stopped, locking into place, facing one another to form a perfect, glowing square.
"I don’t know what you’re doing, but I can’t leave you here alone," Jinx said, crossing her arms defensively.
"Really?" Ellen turned to her, a soft, confident smile on her face.
"I am not a kid anymore, I am 24 years old already, well, to humans." she said. And with a single, focused thought...
BOOOOM!!
The space behind Ellen shattered. A menagerie of nightmares and legends materialized instantly.
A gigantic White Python that rivaled a skyscraper. A Giant in White Armor, wielding a sword the size of a bridge. A terrifying Five-Headed Hound breathing different elements. A massive Lava Golem that superheated the air, and five radiant Light Eagles that illuminated the blackened land.
All of them were insanely powerful Summons, and they all appeared behind her in perfect submission.
"I have backup," Ellen smiled innocently.
GRAAAAAA!!
The beasts all let out deafening roars, sending their terrifying auras rolling over the ruined landscape.
"Hmm... If we are calculating strength, all these Summons are Mythical Class." Jinx slowly nodded her head, genuinely impressed by her sister’s growth.
"There must be a good reason you’re not telling me your plan. So I won’t ask again..." Jinx turned around, putting her back to Ellen.
"Just be careful. And make sure you succeed," she ordered softly. With that, her clone body lost its cohesion and shattered into dark, dissipating particles, returning the consciousness to her real body far away.
"I will, sister."
Ellen sat cross-legged on the ashen ground, directly in the center of the golden pillars. She raised her hand and bit her index finger, drawing a bead of crimson blood.
"With the blood of my father in me! I Summon you!!" She slammed her bleeding palm flat onto the ground.
BOOOOM!!!!
"Yggdrasil."
The dead ground before her cracked violently. From the barren earth, a huge, radiant golden tree rose up. It grew with terrifying speed, its branches expanding outward and upward, unfurling leaves of pure light. It kept growing, higher and wider, until its massive, glowing canopy blocked the sun completely, casting the entire region in a golden twilight.
"Now! Let’s Begin!" Ellen said, closing her eyes and pressing her palms together.
__
"What is happening there?" Ethan asked, his voice trembling slightly. He was staring at the epicenter of the ruined city through military-grade binoculars, his knuckles white.
"What is happening?" Patrick asked, staring at his brother’s pale face, unable to see the details himself.
"I don’t know. We need to think of where to keep the civilians, we can’t leave them underground forever," Ethan said, lowering the binoculars. He paused, his breath hitching, watching as massive, impossible creatures simply appeared out of thin air behind the blonde-haired girl.
GRAAAAA!!
WHOOSH!!
A shockwave of pure, unadulterated mana blasted outward from the epicenter.
"Everyone, grab something!!" Ethan yelled in panic at the Summoners behind him.
They all scrambled, grabbing onto their Summons or anchoring themselves to heavy rubble as the overwhelming wave of energy from Ellen’s Summons moved past them, nearly knocking them off their feet despite the distance.
"What the hell is this?!! Are those Mythical Summons?! How could she have that many?!" Patrick thought in sheer horror, feeling entirely outclassed.
’Hey...’
"Huh?"
Everyone froze. A soft, feminine voice echoed not in their ears, but directly inside their heads. It was Ellen’s voice, carrying a gentle but absolute warning.
’Make sure to keep a one-thousand-mile distance from me... I won’t be responsible for any casualties if you don’t listen.’
Upon hearing the chilling calm of her telepathic words, the two brothers didn’t hesitate for a second.
"Everyone!! Retreat!!!!" They yelled simultaneously, ordering a full-scale evacuation.
