Chapter 612: Chapter 612 - Before I knew it, we got more babies! (Part 1)

Just like that, two weeks have already passed since I have returned to the academe. With Caius’ and Clarence’s affairs resolved, they have finally stopped stressing me out everyday. It is just that, they chose to still continue accompanying me on the extra short term classes that I was taking. They are still conveniently seated right to either my side but the glares with a hint of killing intent were all gone.

I received a letter the very next day after the meeting from Grandpa Mage from the Magic Tower regarding the good news that Keeran shared to him the night before. He thanked me profusely for accepting his stupid grandson and at the same time, for continuously supporting the magic tower’s research studies through my knowledge. He also hoped for further cooperation and to meet his great grandchildren soon.

A few days after the meeting, I also received an overly zealous letter from Caius’ parents, er- well, my future parents-in-law, thanking me for accepting their clueless and extremely stubborn son into my family. They promised to pay for all the preparations for the wedding and also to take care of all the leg work needed in between to make it happen. They told me that I only have to complete the wedding itself and the night activities after that.

With the tone of the letter, I can even hear their happiness and excitement in my head since they are finally getting rid of... ummm.. finally succeeded in finding somebody to marry their son whom they deem acceptable and that he personally chose too. They also invited me to visit their home once I have the time. Their son is in his late 20s and they believe that it was his greatest luck that he met me, not the other way around. It makes you doubt if he was their child or me.

Exactly after a week from the meeting, I also received an invitation from the Pope for an official visit to the Church of Lumienere. This is the only invitation so far that I am having second thoughts of accepting. That old man is a total schemer and I am sure he will force the "saintess" role on me and matchmake me to other priests or even templars to try to squeeze more value out of me.

I may need to put this last invitation in the back burner for now. It is not like I provided a time frame on when I will marry these three. I know it was very tricky of me but who told them not to ask about it because they were too excited.

Let’s set it up once someone asks the magical question "When". As of now, I will just enjoy this peace and quiet. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

At the start of my third week in the academe, I decided not to enroll in any short classes for two reasons. First, I want to rest from studying since these classes aren’t required anyways. Second, I know that the time till Kayden and Dimitri gives birth would be anytime soon.

Just like I suspected, on the 4th day of that third week, just when the sun rose, I was woken up with nonstop telepathy messages from two of my babies. I have just been woken up suddenly and it took some time before I figured out which of the fathers they belong to. It took me a few seconds to realize it was my babies from Kayden sending signals that their father is in pain and also apologizing that they did not mean it.

I immediately stood up from my bed, grabbed the first decent-looking clothes I can see in my closet and wore it. I did not have time to wash up or anything. I was worried about leaving Void behind so I roused him gently then carried him in my arms. We then teleported straight to the gardens near the palace of Eieneos.

I made a few more teleportations until I reached Tadhana and left Void temporarily in the care of the others there. I told them that I have to assist in the birth of my next set of twins. I gave instructions to Void to choose his house and decorate it any way he feels like it. I also called on Laerad to help out on the changes that Void decides to do for his house.

After settling Void in, I teleported several times until I reached the living room of the palace in Eieneos. I saw my father waiting for me there. We then hurriedly teleported together to the room where Kayden was.

As I appeared in the room, I saw Ioannis worried face while holding Kayden’s hand which is quite surprising. Kayden looked pale and his forehead was covered in sweat. I hurriedly walked in and reached his side in a matter of seconds.

When Ioannis saw me appear in the room, I saw him sighing in relief. He looked back at Kayden and whispered something to him before releasing the hand that was holding the pregnant man’s hand.

Ioannis excused himself as I gave him a brief kiss and hug. He said that he would be going out for now to take care of the twins so that my parents can focus in helping Kayden. I smiled at him gratefully.

I immediately went near Kayden and held his hand that was previous being held by Ioannis. After his skin touched mine, I started releasing mana into his body to soothe his pain and calm down the babies. The effect was almost instant as some color returned to his face as he smiled at me weakly.

Once we start the birthing process, it did not even take half an hour before my little boy and girl came out. There was no screaming, cursing or suffering that was usually present in normal human deliveries that I have heard stories about. Kayden even fell asleep after the children are out so my parents helped him clean up the kids while I made sure to heal him up and strengthen his body back to tip top shape.

My father enjoyed feeding the babies as if they are his own. Now that I think about it, can’t my father and mother have more children to help out in the population increase? They have physical bodies now anyway so it would be possible, right?
