Chapter 67: So Fast?

That was it!—Communication!

Gaming was just a kickstart side matter for these people here at GF WorldTech Communications. Several people stared at Gort, countless shivers crawling up their spines when thinking of his ingeniousness.

"This guy is here to change the world!"

"Yes, I can’t stop shaking. I feel like we are witnessing history, the growth of a soon-to-be extraordinarily renowned Genius."

"That is, his intelligence must no doubt surpass many in today’s current world... Perhaps he was the smartest in existence, at least in our era."

They whispered their thoughts while touring the many grand spaces.

Soon, they disembarked off the go-kart centipede, and followed Gort through a cool toned blue double-sided metal door.

It was also extremely thick. The doors looked more like gates, quite intimidating too. Their height in respect to the gate’s height, was Akin to that of a baby staring up at 2 massive gates.

To a baby, the gates would look incredibly towering. And to them right now, even if you stacked 4 people on each other, it was still not enough.

—Didn’t they say it? They were like babies before these doors.

Across the thick doors, were bold words written in white paint.

[ Sector 36 ]

The double-sided doors opened, and they walked in, with their badges around their necks. Several palm-sized metal spiders, now slid down their ’webs.’

Ah!

The group flinched, but soon relaxed when seeing Gort, Katrina, and Stein act so calmly, everyone also adjusted.

These spiders followed them for a bit, using their webs to swing up and down while pouring red scanning lights around them. They not only checked their badges, but how they walked too.

Then it compared the data with the data earlier saved when creating their badges. Their guest passes were only useful for a day. Tomorrow, if they dared to show up here without new passes, they would be treated as intruders and dealt with.

A minute later, their eyes turned green, and the spiders vanished from the scene, as though never there in the first place.

Staring up the far ceiling high up, they were shocked to see metallic cocoons of spiders all over the place. Their nests were quite intimidating, especially the bigger nests that looked to be the size of humans.

Well, many suddenly developed phobia for spiders.

So scary... They were walking In hallway that divided the grand doors behind them from another set before them.

’Clever,’ Stein inwardly concluded. He sensed this place must be to stop or trap any intruders that dare to come this far.

Just look at the giant balls of monster cocoons high up? You can’t tell him they are there for decoration.

....

Vmmm!

The majestic doors opened, followed by a strange whiff of white mist that made the scene look mysterious.

This... this... this.

Stein stood in the heart of a futuristic production line, his eyes popping and widening with wonder. freewebnøvel.coɱ

The air hummed with energy that was filled with the soft whirrs of reactive AI and the vibrant glow of holographic images floating around him.

As the CEO of a game company in his own time, he had always dreamed of this—yet nothing could prepare him for the simplicity and elegance of game development Gort showed him.

"Boss!"

The voice belonged to a burly man in his seventies who emerged from behind a towering structure.

Who would believe that a 70-year-old man was running so fast?

It was odd to say that they could tell he was in his 80s, yet his back was straight and his skin glowing brightly. He wasn’t the most good-looking of men, but they had to admit that there was something about the man’s vigor that could rival even theirs.

"Master, you must slow down or Mimi will be angry."

"Well, sorry Mimi," the old man apologized to the cute avatar that was poking its head from behind his back.

Old man JoJo was his name. He was one of the top scientists and engineers under Old Larkh. He has been a major backbone and worked in many projects with Larkh, but he had to admit that this one takes the cake.

What’s more, he had great respect for Gort too. After talking with Gort, he felt like a student before a master.

"Boss!" JoJo walked over hurriedly, after being told not to run around any more. Soon, they were all introduced and led towards another door at the far, far, back.

There, JoJo effortlessly manipulated VR holograms that displayed intricate game designs.

"Wipe! How do they make it look so easy?"

"Back at SteinGate, the engineers struggle with every Black line of code, but here their fingers are running about effortlessly."

Everyone watched as JoJo pinched the air, zooming in and out of his creation he just did right before their faces.

"Incredible! We used to spend months on this."

"Here, it’s almost as though it was streamlined. The AI learns from them, and improves every iteration. It’s like having a partner who never sleeps."

Too much... This was too good.

They marveled at a holographic display showing real-time analytics.

"This interface is so intuitive! I can barely keep up."

"Exactly!" JoJo replied jovially. "We visualize everything instantly. It’s about making data accessible and actionable."

"So that’s it..." Stein felt a surge of inspiration.

Others also reacted like him.

"Imagine what I could do with this Black technology back at Shinju! The possibilities are endless."

"Yes, innovation thrives on new tools. Embrace them, and your creativity will soar."

Just what did they see?

Gort told the machine to create a VR blank canvas. Then, the super AI computer began creating various components, deleting and adding, while also using knowledge in its database to perfect its creation.

Of course, human help will always be needed.

Several workers tweaked and worked in clusters alongside their avatars who assisted in making a brief masterpiece for them. This was something that could take close to a year to develop. Yet, they did it in under an hour.

... Can you believe it?
