Chapter 550: The Dragon Call ____ Part 2

Elizabeth wasn’t worried as much as Ayra was at that time. For having bare knowledge about creatures in the Basarisk, she was merely curious to know what was going on. However, since Ayra, his princess and best friend was saying that something was wrong with Debisa, there was a hundred percent possibility that it was true. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

Breathing through her mouth heavily, Elizabeth turned the page from the book that they were carrying. Earlier, she paid close attention to the rituals of the Dragon. Hence, it saved her time to find the exact rituals, Ayra wanted. After several pages, Elizabeth showed her something, whispering in a low careful voice,

" Here! This spell can track the dragon but it isn’t explained clearly how to execute the ritual properly. Maybe, it is confidential."

Ayra wasn’t bothered about the outcome. Dragging the book on her lap, she saw another row of different lines, needed to be chanted one after another. After taking a look of lotus in the pond, she decided for herself, breathing her airs out heavily,

" Let’s start it, Elizabeth. I don’t have much time. Cedric might come to look for me in the room."

Elizabeth nodded urgently and arranged the book in front of her, sitting next to her to give her space. Ayra’s eyes laid on the page, stuck and very cautious. Her subconscious mind began to get worried for no reason. Still, she wanted to know where Debisa was. This family belonged to Debisa more than her and she was expecting to return everything to Cedric before any harm befall on them.

After a heavy silence in the atmosphere, it was only Ayra’s enchanting voice was heard. Elizabeth listened carefully and looked at their surrounding to find any changes. It was all same like before. But as soon as her eyes dropped on the lotus, a startled gasp escaped from her lips. The lotus was turning dry gradually. The petals on lotus had began to dry, forming into a black color eventually.

Elizabeth swallowed a mouthful saliva. Perhaps, she shouldn’t have helped Ayra to find the book. If anything goes wrong with Ayra, she would never be able to forgive herself. Elizabeth murmured, pushing her closer to the page,

" Close your eyes, Princess."

Ayra who was emersed in performing the ritual with sincerity barely heard her and closed her eyes shut instantly. At the very end of ritual, Ayra noticed that her thoughts began to turn messy as if her immortal soul was far away from where she was sitting at this moment. Soon, her visions were began to vague then started flipping like distance memories.

Her breathing was getting quicker in next moments. She felt more and more disoriented from this existing world. After few minutes with this complicated thoughts, Ayra had a few rows of images like flashbacks.

Debisa’s lying head..water dripping..

His pair of pathetic eyes..chains around gigantic Dragon body...

The images came and gone so fast that she could barely detect the place. Ayra’s eyes snapped open in shot with a gasp of horror, leaving her mouth. She began to exhale and inhale so loudly as if she was in some sort of asthma attack. Elizabeth quickly patted on her back, cajoling anxiously,

" My lady.. Breath.. Breath.. What did you see.."

Ayra couldn’t stop the tears welling up in her eyes. Even though, she was unaware of the truth, she couldn’t understand what led Debisa to end up like this but she blamed herself for this. She had a feeling that it was all because of her. An innocent animal was living its worst life because of her. Her tears poured down silently and she squeezed Elizabeth’s hand to blurt breathlessly,

" I..I have to go.. Debisa is in danger..I have to go..I have to go... Elizabeth..Go back to the palace and inform your Lord.."

Elizabeth grabbed onto her back tightly to blurt,

" No, Princess! I can’t let you go alone! You don’t even know where it is.. Maybe someone dangerous is holding her.. Don’t go alone.."

Ayra couldn’t wait for anyone to accompany her. If she waited longer, Debisa might get killed. Ayra jerked her off slightly, stood up grabbing the corner of her dress,

" No, Elizabeth! Don’t be silly. I can’t wait after watching those visions. Just go and tell Cedric that I have gone to look for Debisa."

Before Elizabeth could say anything else to stop her, Ayra had already unleashed her wings. In a snap, her large wings were opened behind that had turned bigger and stronger in past years. Elizabeth watched in awe how she managed to fly up in the sky in a second, going upward near the clouds approximately.

The fear in her heart grew stronger and she turned to run for Cedric to tell him the truth. She couldn’t let Ayra fall in any sort of danger. Meanwhile, Ayra flew through the clouds, fasting her speed in each moment. Her heart beat anxiously, feeling lost for a moment how to search for Debisa as she knew nothing about this kingdom.

After flying for several minutes, Ayra paused between her fly for a while and used her own powers to find the exact place. As she had vision of that place, her fairy powers allowed to find it easily. All she had to do was focus on the particular image that she had from the ritual. Then, her mind subconsciously led her to the place where Debisa was chained, holding down on the ground captive. So far, she only felt that it was long away from Dixon Palace.

Passing the dark clouds, stars of night, Ayra didn’t know for how long she had flew in the sky. After she reached over the sky of dark forest, she bit her lips nervously. She had no idea what dangers were waiting for her but she owed Debisa this time, owed Cedric too. Her curse couldn’t be the reason of his destruction although it was beginning of her love for him.
