Oscar stood with his axe in his hand, grinning big at Ayra’s lying body. He spotted her first as soon as she landed down in this valley. Even Hayden didn’t notice her presence and went out for some work. Debisa kept whining, pleading to Oscar silently who lost half of his mind.

Debisa was disappointed in his ex-master. The man, Oscar who used to care for him a lot didn’t even care about his wailing. In fact, he supported Hayden when he wanted to snatch away Debisa from Cedric. Using all his leftover courage, Debisa growled at Oscar who was dragging Ayra’s body away. Oscar glared at Debisa whose eyes were dark and murdering, telling silently that it wouldn’t have hesitated to kill Oscar if it wasn’t being tied down. Oscar barked back, glaring at his once pet,

" What?? She isn’t from our blood, Debisa. Jasmine can be back only through her. You better be obedient to Hayden instead of your useless master."

Oscar sneered one last time then started to drag Ayra’s body deeper into the forest. Debisa kept thrashing against his chain relentlessly, desperately crying to save Ayra but all went in vain when their back disappeared into the darkness of the forest.

Oscar had placed Ayra over a big stone, arms and ankles tied with chains around the stone. His heart was finally joyous to think that Jasmine was going to live again through her. After Jasmine’s death, he thought that it would pass away. But the more time passed, he started to realize that he couldn’t live without her anymore. Eager to get her back, he met Hayden on a dark night and offered help.

By that time, he was done, tying Ayra over the stone in order to perform the ritual that Hayden promised before, Hayden made his appearance. His eyes lit up as soon as he saw Ayra over here. He was counting days for her arrival but it seems like, she came faster than his expectation.Days back, he forced Debisa to show him visions from the future. One of the particular images, he received was her arrival to his land.

Oscar pointed at Ayra eagerly,

" Hayden, look she is here. Let’s not waste our time anymore. Get started with the ritual."

Hayden looked up at the impatient old man, cursed eternally before speaking with a smile,

" Former King Oscar! I believe that it’s time to take your medic. I have a few things to analyze first. We shouldn’t hurry up."

Oscar appeared reluctant but thinking about Hayden and his promise,he stopped urging and obeyed his words silently. To take his medic, he went into the back forest, leaving Ayra with Hayden alone.

A wicked smile formed on Hayden’s lips once his eyes fell on the girl who was his killer by fate. Going on the other side to sit down, he waited for her to wake up.

An hour later, Ayra had regained her conscious to be woken up inside a dark forest. Habitually, she tried to rose up only to be found that her hands, ankles were all tied. A momentarily panic settled into her stomach and she pushed hard to tore them but only to be astounded midway by an unfamiliar voice,

" You are awake? I was waiting for you!"

Ayra whipped her head aside, staring at the man in distance. She could vaguely see his face since he was sitting in the darkness. When Hayden took few steps forward to come in light, a loud surprised gasp passed through her lips. It took only seconds for her to understand that he wasn’t Cedric. Besides, she saw him before but he vanished before she could ask him who it was. So far, she never heard that Cedric had any twin brother nor did Cedric told her anything or his sisters.

" Who are you?", Ayra spoke, gulping hard to see around the unfamiliar surrounding. She wasn’t easily frightened but this man didn’t feel good to her. Besides, his approach was questionable especially the look in his eyes whenever their eyes connected.

Hayden skipped her question, his eyes dropping on her chained ankles. He spoke with concern, walking timidly over to her,

" Does it hurt?"

Ayra was speechless for a few seconds and looked down at her tied ankles. Pursuing her lips tightly, she refused to give any answer to this imposter when she had so many questions in her mind.

Debisa? Was he kidnapped by this man?

Ayra doubted and watched Hayden coming near her feet. With a beaming smile, he began to untie her ankles slowly as if nothing happened and spoke during the time of untying,

" You should have been more cautious when you entered into an unfamiliar place. Look, you are so easily knocked down. I didn’t expect it from a powerful hybrid like you. "

After unlocking the chains, Ayra huddled her knees up, staring at the man ahead suspiciously. He knew so much about her as if they had known each others for years. Ayra rumbled her words out, putting her guard on in high-alert,

" Who the hell are you? You aren’t Cedric, I know. Why are you keeping Debisa here? How do you know me?"

Ayra hid the part that she saw her before in grandpa’s house in case this man was dangerous and harmed the old man. A big smile spreaded across Hayden’s face before he spoke in a dramatic voice,

" I am so glad that you didn’t mistake me as your husband, Princess Ayra. Debisa is here because he belongs to this place." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

A line of confusion crossed through her mind. Each words from Hayden was making her clueless. Keeping her rage on control, Ayra muttered in a stern voice,

" Who are you? Tell me first! What do you mean by Debisa belongs here?"

Hayden smirked cunningly, tugged on his coat to keep it tighter. His words resonated through the dark forest calmly,

" I am your destined mate and your.. soon-to-be.. husband, Princess Ayra."
