Loved By a Vampire King-Chapter 553: Allow Me!
Hayden’s words were like a bucket of freezing water. As soon as those came out, Ayra’s breath faded away, only two words lingered in her ears,
" Destined Mate!", "Soon to be husband!"
Her expression turned turbulent. Glaring up at the man who didn’t stop smiling, she retorted sharply,
" Impossible! What are you talking about? I am married and you aren’t my husband..I know that..Let Debisa come with me or you will have to face me.."
Hayden scrutinized his brows slightly. He didn’t like to be threatened by a woman who is more powerful than him. He always believed that women are lower in grace and power than men. Hence, he didn’t appreciate Ayra’s challenging attitude but that didn’t increase his rage. He knew that he had to stay calm if he wanted to use Ayra for himself.
Hayden softened his tone suddenly, speaking in a low, deep voice,
" I have been watching over you all over my life. Why will I lie to you?"
Ayra’s eyes snapped open wide, unable to believe his words but at the same time, they sounded sincere. Fear crawled all over her skin, clouds of doubt began to surface her mind. Her eyes stared at his face blankly, finding the depth of his words. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
Judging by her expression, Hayden knew that she wasn’t convinced yet. He continued manipulating her mind, using his soft soothing voice to divert her thoughts,
" How can you believe a guy who is forced to marry you? Nearly killed the love of your life?"
Ayra’s heart began to hammer quickly, breathing came so fast that she could barely keep her brain awake. This guy knew so much about her.
Was he really speaking the truth?
Ayra clutched the corner of her clothes, shaking visibly. When Hayden saw that, a small smirk appeared on the corner of his lips. He feigned worrisome, came closer and offered her a glass of drink out of nowhere,
" Here, you should drink this. I know, Truth can be harsh but you must come to your destined person. Cedric doesn’t deserve you. He has been lying to you all this time."
Ayra didn’t receive the glass from Hayden. She had learned her lesson last time and remained untouched. When Hayden saw that she was going to sit without doing anything, he brought the glass between her lips affectionately, growling a little as if he was worried about her health,
" Drink! Your body isn’t recovered yet!"
Ayra’s eyes once again snapped wide at his words. Without taking any sip, she pressed her lips tightly together to say something,
" How...how do you know..."
Hayden smirked at her little interest in him. Everything was going according to his plan. It was easy for her to get attracted to her since they were supposed to be each other’s mate. Hayden caressed her cheeks, feeling her stiff skin under his light touches,
" Trust me, I know everything about you even how much you hurt because of your abortion."
In a splash of moments, everything appeared in front of Ayra’s eyes. She remembered how she failed her child for trusting Cedric blindly. Her pains and anger all rose up together. She pushed the glass away from her lips, shouted breathing hard through her nose,
" I.. don’t.. trust you...stay away.."
Hayden’s smile grew wide at the sight of that broken glass. He understood that his words were leaving effect on her successfully. He continued pouring his words into her mind venomously,
" Remember the times when you used to see eyes, Princess. That was me! I never left your sight. But Cedric came between us..."
Hayden paused deliberately, his one hand rubbing the stone under Ayra’s sitting position. He added turning his voice into a chilling you,
" Robbed you from me...This kingdom, you should belong to me but he manipulated to marry you.. "
A startled gasp came from Ayra’s lips. Her eyes continued to bring tears until her vision blurred. The night around them wasn’t chilling but she felt her skin turning pale as if death was knocking at her door. She sniffed her nose, gulped hard to murmur in a trembling voice,
" I...I don’t trust you..."
There was a slight disappointment in Hayden’s eyes. He spent his words carefully to convince her but this woman trusted no one except Cedric. He took a deep breath and continued circling around her slowly,
" He has cheated you multiple times. You should worry about yourself now, Princess. We can rule together but Cedric took everything from me. I don’t mind that you two were married. All I think about is us. He has been lying to you about being your mate. It. It was me always. Then he killed your child. Do you know why? Because he knows that you aren’t his destined mate. He should fuck away from us. We can still be together and defeat him, Princess."
Hayden stopped in front of her after finishing his words and waited for her answer. Ayra remained silent, too shocked to say anything. If that were the truth, she wouldn’t be able to forgive Cedric ever. Perhaps, she deserved everything for hurting Seth and his feelings. At least, Seth wasn’t faking his words for her like others and appreciated her in his life.
Hayden spoke eagerly, watching how she had turned mute in a moment,
" If you don’t trust my words, I can prove it to you."
Ayra blinked her eyes up to look at him questioning. Tears of pain continued slipping down from her eyes. Hayden took it as her approval and carefully snaked an arm around her body to pull her up slightly.
Ayra shivered at the slight contact of their skin. Although it felt good, her heart couldn’t appreciate the touch of other men wholeheartedly. Hayden smiled slightly, spoke at her face in a confident voice,
" I can kiss you to assure our bond for you. Allow me, Princess. Then, you will understand what you missed in your life."
