Loved By a Vampire King-Chapter 586: Kiss & Trouble

The nude ministers all broke into cold sweat. None of them expected that this girl shared any affection with the acting king. All they heard was that they were friends once and the latter happened probably serving him in bed. Jessie still couldn’t get out of her shock. The way, Shanz’s eyes became dark black before landing on those men, she doubted how much she knew about his power. In her blurry memory, she heard from rumours that Shanz had more powers in his veins than the former king.

Without saying anything, Shanz brought her to the horse, placing her on it safely before going back to face the ministers again. Unlike Jessie, Shanz felt nothing about their naked states. He asked them again very calmly, raising his head,

" Who planned to violate her?"

The air dropped drastically after he uttered those words. He sounded very calm but the chill behind his words were no joke as well. The ministers figured out that they could no longer skip their sins here. Hence, the scarred one came forward to rebel against Shanz’s words of accusation,

" Your Highness! This is so wrong! You are going against the nature of us. How can you force us to come back into our human shape before dawn? Also you shouldn’t treat us like trash for an outsider. Don’t forget that we are the root of your kingdom. Besides, we can always replace you. Aaaaahh.."

The rest of his words were said undone. As soon as Shanz had set his eyes on that particular minister, the minister did something horrible in front of everyone’s eyes. He strangled himself with his own hands, forcing himself to get suffocated. He was doing it on his own without the help of any object.

The other ministers glanced up at Shanz in terror who had a small smirk on his lips. Without keeping his eyes off the minister, he said sarcastically,

" I am the acting king with a reason. Do you believe that, my dear minster?"

Shanz switched his eyes back on the other two ministers who were terrified as well. As his gaze started turning intense on them, the two ministers lost all their rational thoughts. One of them rushed to the other, held him by his throat tightly to kill without his knowledge. It was more like he wasn’t in his body anymore and controlled by another source of invisible power.

The situation was mascara and Jessie from the horse swallowed hard in terror. It was terrible to witness such a great impact of hypnotism power. It was like anyone could kill themselves without realizing or blaming anyone. The whole situation became chaotic and the minister from the first began to apologize repeatedly,

" I was wrong.. Your Majesty.. please...spare us... Please... Your Majesty... please.."

However, Shanz had turned deaf ears to their cries. If it wasn’t for the council, he would have killed them right away when he discovered them on top of Jessie. His fighter woman seemed so scared that she begged him to save silently.

How could he let them go so easily?

Jessie watched how the ministers were actually trying to kill each other under Shanz’s gaze. If any outsider watched the situation, they would have called them mad. After begging Shanz several times, their pain didn’t lessen. Only then the first minister cast his attention on Jessie who looked dumb over the horse.

The minister staggered over the horse to beg Jessie,

" Young Lady! Please forgive us! Please..tell his highness to let us go.. Please....We will endure all kinds of punishments but don’t let him kill us.. please.."

Jessie remained dumbstruck on the horse for a while. She really doubted whether they deserved to get killed or not. At the same time, she was reluctant to ask Shanz to not punish them. After all, they didn’t interact well over the last few years. Whenever they meet, they always argue or show their beaming hatred for each other.

Jessie kept her lips sealed tightly. When a minister was almost dying, she looked up on the way to see the mess happening. The scene looked indeed pathetic with the way they were trying to confront each other. Having no choice left, Jessie blurted out unknowingly,

" Shanz! STOP!!"

Shanz who was still on the line to control those men felt his heart skipping a bit. It was probably the first time after their breakup, he had heard her calling so casually. He brought his surprised eyes back on her. Jessie spoke again, feeling uneasy to have his eyes on her,

" There’s no need to kill.. Besides they are your ministers..Let them get punished on the court."

Shanz had a look of disbelief in his eyes. According to her character, she always believed to give an eye to an eye. It was rare for her to show mercy on others.

Could it be possible that she was afraid of dragging him into trouble?

He didn’t want to bring hope in his mind. But after a few initial seconds, he did let go of them not before leaving a bruise around their neck. The ministers all laid flat wailing and saw him taking his leave. Without any words, Shanz got on the same horse with Jessie in front. Right after he got into it, he whispered into her ears that it turned hot because of their close proximity,

" When did you become so kind? I never knew that."

Jessie mumbled, still feeling uncomfortable for being so close to him,

" I just.. don’t want anyone to face troubles because of me.."

In other words, she didn’t want others questioning Shanz for giving punishments to these ministers because of her. She hid the truth and stayed silent until chuckled into her ears,

" Right! But do you know that you gave me the biggest trouble when you kissed me seven years ago thinking that I was asleep?"

Jessie became numb at his confession. Wait.. wasn’t he asleep that day? How could he remember it after so many years?
