Loved By a Vampire King-Chapter 603: Reading The Journal Part Two

Ayra felt truly sorry for Jasmine after going through the read of her mental torture about not having a boy. She didn’t know whether to blame Jasmine or not. The journal told every pain of Jasmine’s heart. Those who are habituated to pen down his or her daily activities, they naturally write everything in their journals or diaries which they couldn’t tell out loud in words.

Ayra took a deep breath to control her emotions. She was too close to find the exact truths. She couldn’t be emotional at this time. Flipping on the next page, she proceeded to read the next Chapter of Jasmine’s life. The procedure of summoning a demon was harder than it sounded. A 367 days of long ritual is required without disturbing every night. Apparently, Jasmine didn’t hesitate to follow the troubles. She became so busy and engrossed with the long-hard ritual that she began to ignore the rest of her family. Her relationship grew distance from Oscar and her daughters became her least favorite. Most of the time, they were taken care of by the maids.

Jasmine didn’t write those words but the eagerness and some small events that were written on that page, Ayra assumed what could have gone wrong. For example, Jasmine forgot the birthday of Jessie which made the stubborn girl cry for hours.

Ayra’s eyes stayed stuck on a line in which Jasmine wrote the line from the ancient book of demons which didn’t exist anymore,

" Only given when it’s taken."

Thanks to her narration, Jasmine mentioned that she couldn’t call any demon without offering him something. Above all, if the demon agrees to her request, she has to give back something in return. That’s how, all the demons worked who lived in different realms. The ritual said that it couldn’t be one hundred percent successful. Even if she succeeded, her wishes couldn’t come true because not every demon who was brought into a different realm was powerful enough to fulfill her demands. Then Ayra started reading the last and final day of the ritual, held by Jasmine through her writing....

" Anthrastika..uisama..kisunat "

Young Jasmine kept chanting the hardly pronounced spell attentively. Since she was very young when her daughters were born, her youth was still present in her features. Far away from their living castle, under the ground of a secret dungeon, young Jasmine was performing her ritual. It was finally 367 days of her ritual. The result of her ritual was going to happen today. She couldn’t wait to find it out and at the same time, she was scared that her plans would go in vain.

The entire dungeon was dark and lifeless. Except for the fire of her prayers, nothing was seen around. On her 507th time reciting the mantra, she felt the air around her finally swirling like a storm. The wind blew past through her face wildly but she didn’t stop chanting the mantra. But surprisingly, her fire still remained strong in the winds.

The wild wind all stormed around, finally turning back then slowly taking a human form. The shadow shifted in front of the fire, keeping a few steps away from Jasmine. As she kept chanting with her eyes off, she didn’t see the human form. But soon a deep voice, filled with mockery heard from the other side,

" Quite brave, aren’t you?? Alone meeting a demon secretly?"

Jasmine’s back stiffened upon hearing the icy tone. Finally, she stopped chanting and opened her eyes nervously to face the demon. Even though she was happy to face the demon, she was scared to death inside.

What if she said something wrong and the demon left in anger?

Jasmine was surprised to see that the demon in front of him didn’t look so scary at all. Instead, he had a rather handsome face with a straight nose and plump lips. The color of his eyeballs were oddly dark and dangerous.

Jasmine muttered awkwardly, her voice lacking confidence,

" You..you are a demon??"

The young Ralph chuckled at the stupid woman’s bravery. She dared to summon him but she couldn’t even speak to him properly. Letting out an arrogant huff, Ralph introduced himself proudly,

" Demon King and you should feel honored to meet me. I must say that you are the first person who performed the ritual with such devotion that it brought the demon king to a different realm. So, tell me. Why did you summon me here?"

Jasmine bit her lips together tightly. Taking a deep breath, she replied to him confidently,

" I want a child from you...a boy actually.."

Ralph’s face turned black as he eyed Jasmine from head to toe before blurting,

" I am not old enough to be a father."

Jasmine was stupified before correcting her words,

" I meant...I want a boy without being touched by anyone. I heard that only the demons can reproduce a living being. I can’t be pregnant anymore. So, I want you to help me to get an heir for my husband."

Ralph heard her words with a strange expression. He couldn’t believe that someone could go to this extent just to get an heir. But the love and affection in her eyes for his husband was clear and evident.

Ralph took a deep breath and walked behind her slowly. The closer he approached, Jasmine became stiff and held her breath. Her lips parted to take deep breaths to calm down her nerves. Ralph tried to put some sense in her thoughts, growling softly,

" What a strange creature you are! Aren’t you afraid that the whole world will call you a sinner?"

" I am not scared of scandals!"

" What if your husband doesn’t accept the child?"

" He loves me deeply and will surely accept it."

" So confident? Then why is he forced to have a boy?"

" He doesn’t know. It’s me who is insisting."

" But the child will have half demonic characteristics. Won’t you mind?"

" I don’t care as long as it’s a boy."

" What if the baby carrier’s demon bloodline?"

" I don’t care!! He will be born from my womb and definitely, it will make him an heir for my husband’s throne."
