Loved By a Vampire King-Chapter 604: Forbidden Love Tastes Sweet ( Jasmine & Ralph - Part 1)
On his last question, Jasmine was startled immensely. Her drawn eyes lifted to stare at the demon king whose words sounded inappropriate and forbidden at the same time. Her lips parted to ask Ralph in a whisper,
" What... what do you mean?I have to give birth to you? No! Definitely, I don’t want my son’s name related to you anyhow. How will he become the heir of my husband’s throne if he turns into your heir?"
She wasn’t willing to compromise anything for the sake of an heir. Ralph stared into her eyes deeply, observing her desperation and madness of love for her husband. At the same time, he felt hatred towards her husband who couldn’t cherish her well. If she was well and content in her married life, she didn’t need to find him for a boy.
Ralph looked down to let out a sigh, his eyes hiding something which she failed to see through. After an awkward silence, Ralph continued saying,
" You know it well too. Demon doesn’t grant your wish unless you offer her something. So, what are you going to offer me, woman?"
Jasmine knew it all well. She bit her lips slightly before telling in a little anxious voice,
" Anything! Jewels, property! Whatever you want, I am ready to give you anything."
Ralph let out a chuckle on her words. Taking a step closer to her face, he whispered in an arrogant voice, his dark eyes drinking her reactions,
" My girl! Are you forgetting that you are making a deal with a demon king? Do you think that I lack anything?"
Jasmine let out an internal growl. She didn’t know that it was so difficult to deal with a demon. Moreover, she was anxious to have a child. She blurted through her gritted teeth,
" Just tell me what you want! Let’s not beat around the bush anymore."
The corner of his lips lifted slightly into a devilish smirk. A devil surely knew how to trap someone in his own game. After giving it a thought, Ralph said in a demanding voice, the demonic gleam appeared in his pitch dark eyes,
" Give me a child too! I need an heir for my throne."
Ralph had no other siblings who could look after the throne after his death one day. About the women from his own realm, he never felt sexually attracted to them. However after meeting Jasmine, he felt an impulsive urge which he couldn’t describe in words. He wanted something from her to keep him by his side forever. She was married and had children. Certainly, he couldn’t take her as his woman and a child..he could ask for that possibly.
Jasmine widened her eyes in surprise, her face turning sullen as if he just asked for her life. Struggling to keep her rage in control, she blurted in a breath harshly,
" That’s Impossible! I am a married woman. How can I give you a child? I don’t want to be an impure slut in front of my husband."
Ralph chuckled, raising his brows to question her love again,
" Didn’t you say that he loves you so much? Then why would he abandon you if he comes to know that you did everything for his sake, for his throne?"
Jasmine pursed her lips but couldn’t find a word to retort anymore. As silence descended between them, Ralph came forward to face her with a straight face, his eyes were full black,
" Let me tell you, Lady Jasmine! You can’t get anything from a demon without giving anything. My throne is empty without an heir as well. When I said that I wanted a child for you, I didn’t refer to getting in your pants. I am not like your piggy headed husband who would prioritize the body over everything. Since you have come a long way, you must know that demons can be cultivated in magical wombs as well. What I meant is that I want your seed to make a child for me. As long as you agree, I promise you that you will have a son for yourself and I will have mine. We will never cross paths and my child will never know about you."
Jasmine fell in deep thoughts. Even though it sounded quite normal, she didn’t know how to react to this matter. She needed a son badly so he did as well. She muttered, lifting her head up to look into his eyes again,
" Then.. wouldn’t they be brothers?? Like...they will be my children?"
Ralph breathed his word out, gulping down,
" Mine as well!"
Jasmine rebuked, shaking her head hurriedly,
" Not..yours..I mean..one of them is my husband’s."
Ralph didn’t argue on this matter anymore. She was so persistent in believing that he didn’t bother to clarify her any longer. She thought that covering up the truth would change everything. Ralph asked again, his tone turning softer unusually,
" So...do you agree?? We need a long preparation. Give me an answer as fast as you can."
Jasmine gripped the corner of her clothes, asking in a shy and hesitant voice,
" Is that...Will I still be pure? I don’t want to cheat on my husband."
Ralph’s brows knit together tightly. He replied after letting out a sigh, 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
" Yes except for the fact that I am the father of your child. Only demons have the power to control birth." Give it a thought and tell me, are you willing or not?"
At that moment, Jasmine couldn’t think of anything else. She thought that it was okay to give a seed who wouldn’t have any relations with her. Her greed for having a son made her so blind that she never thought about the consequences. Remembering how Oscar looked humiliated when his father asked for an heir, she let all her insecurities go away. Taking a lungful breath, she said in a loud and firm voice,
" I am willing!! I am willing you to give you a child but you must promise me that the world will never know that I am his mother technically neither will my son ever know about your link with him."
