Jasmine’s first reaction was to look for Ralph. However, she had no idea about the telepathic powers that a demon had. Sometimes, It took only a nano second for someone like Ralph to disappear in the air. Jasmine’s jaw dropped when she found Ralph missing.

How the hell did he disappear?

Oscar was still scrutinizing his eyes at Jasmine. He came to find her early in the morning as well but she was nowhere to be seen. He had been very busy with state affairs. He couldn’t understand whether it was his delusion or not, his father had been giving more and more work every single day. He felt though his father had all the intention to keep him there permanently.

Jasmine’s mood changed instantly. Pulling her lips into a big smile, she welcomed the love of her life,

" You are back! I have been waiting for you like eternity. Sorry, I went to travel around the islands nearby."

Oscar smiled back a little, failing to feel Ralph’s dark presence in the room who was hiding behind the big cupboard. He didn’t leave for some reason. He really wanted to see how loving her husband was that made her forget about everything else.

As soon as Oscar came closer, Jasmine threw herself on him happily. Thankfully, Oscar caught her on time, furrowing at her overjoyed nature. Jasmine said with a big grin, her teeth always coming out,

" I have a big news for you, my love. Guess?"

It had been a long time since he saw her so happy and smiling. Ever since she miscarried the child, he noticed that Jasmine had become a reserved person. Oscar replied back, not wanting to ruin her mood by bringing up the incident of her miscarriage,

" No idea! You have already given me everything. I don’t think that we need anything special anymore."

The smile of Jasmine’s lips broadened further. She felt though their happy days were coming back finally. Pushing her lips up into a big smile, she blurted, shocking Oscar,

" Husband, I am pregnant! You will finally have a son!"

Oscar’s eyes turned big wide, his lips parting in disbelief. Even though he didn’t know that Jasmine couldn’t be pregnant ever, a few days ago he met a psychic on his way to the kingdom. That psychic woman told him that he was destined to have two daughters only.

How did Jasmine become pregnant again? Was she going to miscarriage again?

Oscar’s heart shook in horror as he put her back to sit anxiously. Forming a big smile on his face, he replied excitedly,

" I can’t believe that..you are finally..Hold on a second.. Let me call the healer. She should check on your body first."

Before Jasmine could stop him, Oscar ran out of the room to summon everyone. This time, he also had the faith that he was going to have an heir finally.

Ralph saw everything with his own eyes. For some unknown reason, he felt empty and alone in his heart all of a sudden. When he saw the emotion in Jasmine’s eyes and the love and excitement when she announced her pregnancy to Oscar, he was stupidly jealous. The child belonged to him and their happiness was the result of his supreme powers. His mind couldn’t help but picture a family of them together..he and his both sons.. with Jasmine.

Then he reminded himself that it was just a ritual deal between him and another creature. Why would he be so interested in her? She wasn’t so special..had a husband.. children..But did love ever know boundaries?

Meanwhile, the healers were all summoned to check on Jasmine. The whole castle was in the mood for celebration. The maids shared sweets to celebrate the blessed event.

Jasmine was even more pampered today. Jessie & Isabella were the happiest as their mother was finally smiling back at them. In the last few months, they were even scared to talk to her because of her straight face always.

The healer checked on her pulse but didn’t feel anything unusual. When she placed a hand on her stomach, he felt a little movement inside her stomach. The healer was shocked and surprised as well. According to Jasmine’s words, she was possibly pregnant for a week. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

How was it possible that the baby was moving already?

Oscar asked happily, smiling at Jasmine who was on the bed,

" How did it go, healer? Is the baby okay?"

The healer said nothing to Oscar and told him instead in a serious voice,

" Your Highness! Can we speak privately?"

This made Oscar anxious who quickly went outside to talk with the healer. The healer said to him politely after giving a short bow,

" Congratulations my Lord! Her lady is indeed pregnant but the baby seems odd. I mean, it can move inside her womb already."

Oscar let out a chuckle, huffing proudly,

" I am not surprised! After all, it has my bloodline. Men from my family become the strongest."

Meanwhile, Ralph who was hiding and keeping an eye on them rolled his eyes hard on Oscar’s words. It was not his genes,moron!

The healer forced a smile before nodding in agreement and told in a doubtful voice,

" Quite reasonable! But I just don’t understand that I told the lady that it’s impossible for her to get pregnant again. It’s a miracle indeed!"

Oscar’s smile froze between when he heard that. Jasmine had never shared this with him which made him even more surprised. Not wishing to reveal his wife’s nature in front of the healer, he suddenly asked for his burning curiosity,

" Can you tell me how many weeks she had been pregnant with my child? Or.. months?"

The healer replied very accurately,

" Two weeks ago! It’s too early!"

Oscar almost fell on the ground in shock. How was it possible? He..he didn’t stay in this castle for at least one month..Even when he came..they had never been intimate...How was she pregnant then?
