Loved By a Vampire King-Chapter 607: Forbidden Love Tastes Sweet ( Jasmine & Ralph - Part 4)

Oscar was a prince for a reason. After he had his doubts, he didn’t go to confront Jasmine immediately. At first, he had given orders to find out what Jasmine was doing all the time. The maids all said the truth. To get on Oscar’s good sides, they revealed everything including her ignorance to his daughters. One of the maids revealed that she saw Jasmine somewhere going each night which aroused the doubts in his mind.

Meanwhile, his guards searched everywhere where she could potentially go at night. Jasmine thought that she had covered it well but she was never above a prince’s power. After all, Oscar was the owner of the castle and had access to everywhere.

Oscar spent the night restlessly. Meanwhile, Ralph had to go back to his own realm to perform his duties the next day. The whole day passed smoothly. Oscar didn’t show up in front of Jasmine until he dug out the final truth. Jasmine had no idea that Oscar was already suspecting her. She was beaming in happiness to know that she was finally having a boy.

When the time of dawn came, Oscar’s personal group of guards appeared with a bag, full of bones and burnt things. They came to bow at Oscar, held the things up before telling hesitantly,

" Your Highness! Her lady was travelling to the underground dungeon these days. We..we have found these staff there. We...we are suspecting that it’s used to summon some dark magic."

Oscar held the staff in his hands. When he smelt the fresh blood in the clothes, his whole momentum changed into a terrifying one. Giving the staff back to the guards, he stormed for Jasmine’s room where she was resting. He kicked open the door, startling Jasmine who was laying. Without a word, he grabbed her by her arms before started dragging her out of the room.

Jasmine cried out fearfully, sobbing and asking,

" Your Highness! What..are you doing..I am pregnant.. Don’t do this to me.. please calm down.."

But Oscar was blinded by rage. He could literally guess that Jasmine had done something horrible. It was no doubt that any other man had ever dared to step in his castle. There was only one way that Jasmine had used something forbidden or dark.

When Oscar started dragging her to the underground dungeon, Jasmine’s face turned pale. She could guess that he had found out everything. The pushing and dragging continued until they arrived in front of the seat that she made to perform the ritual.

Oscar threw her off harshly on the floor. Jasmine let out a yelp of pain and held her stomach protectively. Oscar snarled in rage, his eyes turning killing and dangerous,

" EXPLAIN THIS TO ME! HOW DID YOU GET PREGNANT? THE CHILD ISN’T MINE..TELL ME BEFORE I KILL YOU OR..KILL MYSELF.."

Jasmine burst into tears on the floor. She knew that she could hide no longer. But she never thought that things would turn out so bad. She believed that she could hide the secret forever. She blurted between her cries and sobbing,

" Demon!! A demon has blessed..us.. with a child but trust me, husband! It’s yours...the baby is yours..."

Oscar felt though his whole world had shattered in a second, falling into pieces. A shock of pain and disbelief flashed across his eyes. From ancient times, demons were cursed, something who could only destroy or kill. His wife..had actually invited a demon in his castle and got pregnant?

Oscar didn’t believe her words. He sneered, stepping forward furiously,

" You... witch... woman..A demon baby never can be mine!! ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE!! YOU ARE IMPURE!!! YOU MUST HAVE GIVEN YOURSELF TO THAT DEMON! SHAMEFUL WOMAN! I WILL KILL YOU!!"

Jasmine trembled in fear to see the rage in his eyes. She tried to explain hurriedly,

" Husband.. believe me.. It’s not like that..I am still pure.. These are magic..."

However, Oscar didn’t believe a single word from her mouth. It was quite understandable as they never saw magic like these before. Giving a life was still an impossible thing in their world. In his heat of rage, Oscar had plucked out his sword already, ready to get rid of this baby from her stomach. At that point, he had only thought that the baby would destroy and curse his family. He didn’t even care about Jasmine or her mad love for him.

He charged forward with the sharp in his hand but an electric shock had thrown him several steps away from Jasmine. Before he could approach Jasmine again, a black shadow appeared in front of Oscar, a deep voice resonating in the quiet dungeon,

" HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY CHILD??"

Oscar watched the person in horror. He had never met someone with such dark powers. He never felt such strong waves of dark powers in his whole life. Jasmine’s jaw dropped in disbelief. She didn’t expect that Ralph would bother to show here.

What was he doing here? Was he keeping an eye on her.. because of the baby?

Before Oscar could aim his sword towards Ralph, his sword aimed back to himself, ready to cut off his own throat. Oscar saw in horror as his own sword had been pointed at himself by his own hands. An evil smile appeared on Ralph’s lips. He never felt so joyful for being blessed with so many extra ordinary powers.

Ralph asked Jasmine sweetly, his eyes gazing at Oscar angrily,

" One word from you, he will bid farewell to this world." 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

Jasmine watched everything in mixed emotions. She didn’t expect that the demon king that she feared would be her saviour one-day. Shaking her head, she said in a pleading voice,

" Let him go!"

" NO!!", came the sharp reply from Ralph who saw everything he tried to do to her. He wasn’t a kind person who would forgive Oscar so easily.

" Please...I love him...", Jasmine said again, her eyes pleading with tears.

Ralph felt a string in his heart to hear her last words but he still didn’t back off his magic, unwilling to let go of Oscar badly. Jasmine took a deep breath then uttered those words that she never expected to say in her whole life,

" I am not requesting the king of demons. I am requesting to the father of my child. LET HIM GO!!!"
