Loved By a Vampire King-Chapter 623: Forbidden Love Tastes Sweet ( Jasmine & Ralph - Part 20)

The sound of her continuous banging woke up the caretaker fast who rubbed his eyes before going over to open the door. At the same time, the old master AKA Jasmine’s father had heard her shouting. He was surprised to know that she had come back at this hour to his house. However, he didn’t come out of his room, afraid of feeling pity for this unfaithful daughter.

The caretaker opened the door and was flabbergasted to see their young lady. He was the old butler of this house. So, he knew Jasmine well from her childhood.

" You...Young..Miss..."

The caretaker was shocked to see her wet. It was visible that she was pregnant and wasn’t far away from giving birth. Jasmine looked up at the stairs anxiously, muttering incoherently,

" Uncle Louis! Father.. brother... Are they home? I really need some help! Please..I..."

Before she could finish her words, her father’s icy voice came from upstairs, echoing all throughout the mansion,

" LOUIS!! Didn’t I tell you that outsiders aren’t welcome in this house?"

Jasmine was expecting this answer. She absorbed the pain and lifted her head up to shout at the stairs,

" FATHER! You can hate me as much as you wish but please.... listen to me today..I need your help! Father..."

Jasmine’s family had a noble background. They never appreciated the royal family because of their several marriages. After Jasmine eloped with Oscar, her family faced a huge humiliation. Her father was being insulted in front of society. Many of their close friends cut ties because they felt that Jasmine was a total disgrace to go against their father. The humiliation became so severe that their business was shifted to somewhere else. Her brothers told her father strictly that Jasmine would be no longer acknowledged by their family.

Jasmine’s father was silent on her cries. He could hear everything crystal clear from his room. Even though she asked for mercy several times, the old man only said a few words which broke her heart completely,

" I don’t have a daughter!"

Jasmine fell silent by his response. At this point, she understood that she had nowhere to go. Both of her families had abandoned her completely. Dragging her feet slowly out of the mansion, Jasmine walked back to the rain without another word.

Caretaker Louis couldn’t bear her pain. He rushed upstairs to beg his master one more time. He fell on Jasmine’s father’s feet to tell him anxiously,

" Master! Young Lady didn’t look well. She went back to the rain. Maybe she is in big trouble. Master at least listen to her! She was crying all the time."

Jasmine’s father was unaffected by his words. He only thought that Jasmine was putting on an act to be accepted by his family. Even though he abandoned Jasmine, he did research on her life. He found that Jasmine was living well with Oscar. So, he didn’t believe that Jasmine was in such a miserable state. Jasmine’s father said with a heavy sigh, staring blankly at the rains,

" It’s best for her to leave! Her brothers would have beaten her to death if they were here today, Louis! Let her leave without any harm!"

Louis couldn’t rebuke anymore. Indeed her brothers would have kicked her out ruthlessly if they weren’t out of the town. A father could never forget his daughter but a brother could.

That night, Jasmine came back to the castle again through the rain. Her contradictions came frequently and she understood that she couldn’t hold back much longer. However, she felt helpless mentally especially remembering all the things that she had done wrong.

The sky continued to turn darker. Thunder lights fell on her crying face too often as she walked through the empty corridor of the castle in her wet dress. Her tears were relentless. Touching her belly, her lips pursed together before she blurted through her tears,

" Who...who will save you now..baby...Your sisters...who will ensure their future?"

No one!!

Her family turned their back on her. Her husband turned his back on her and continued to betray her until today. As soon as her baby was born, Oscar would be coming to kill her. Not only that, he would be sending her away with her daughters. What will happen to their future then? Her daughters weren’t going to get the status of princess. Their lives would be miserable. How could she do this as a mother?

The sky continued to growl and at the same time, her contradictions pain came with double force. Through all the pains, she remembered the moment she had with Ralph!

Then..was her death going to bring him back to this realm? Yes!! Only Ralph could save her son and give her daughters a bright future.

Another contradiction came and Jasmine fell on the floor with a shrill cry. One of the maids heard her cry and rushed outside to find her on the ground. They all gathered up together to prepare her for giving birth.

Jasmine was thrashing her head back and forth in pain. In her dazed eyes, she noticed how the color of petals began to change into dark and black. Even the maids were afraid to see the changes. It was all happening because of the dark energy that was coming out of her belly.

Jasmine asked between her painful whimpers,her eyes watering,

" Where’s Oscar...is he in the castle?"

A maid replied, holding onto her arms,

" No! My lady! His highness has gone for a battle with the fairy prince. He will come back later. Now please concentrate and we are here for you!"

Jasmine smiled sadly in relief. She had to give birth before Oscar returned. She had to do this for her family. Squeezing her eyes shut, she pushed harder to make the baby out. However, with her scream, all the glasses from the windows broke down into pieces, scaring the maids who saw all the bad signs.
