Loved By a Vampire King-Chapter 634: Justice For Everyone
Ralph had a twisted look on his face. It had never turned good when demons stood against his decision. Besides he wondered who notified the demons about Ayra’s arrival here. When Jasmine used to come, it was kept private within his castle.
Ayra came to stand beside Ralph. After judging by his expression, she couldn’t help but ask in worry,
" Are we in trouble? Are they angry?"
Ralph passed her a small smile although deep down he was prepared for a long battle,
" Don’t worry, little one! I will keep you safe."
It was simply because Ayra’s abilities were powerless in this realm. Living creatures couldn’t use their abilities among demons unless the demons landed on another world. Even after being a powerful creature, Ayra’s safety was at risk.
Ayra felt grateful but soon after his assistance led a group of demons coming their way. The face of those demons left Ayra shocked especially the first one who had a half burning face, and one of his eyes was gone totally. Being a part of the fairy world, she only saw the beautiful faces. Thus, these demons looked scary in her eyes.
The tall and half burning faced demon took a bow in front of Ralph as his eyes sharply glared at Ayra,
" My lord! Please forgive us but this needs to be discussed now."
Ralph replied in a pitched voice,
" Go on, Maze. You looked quite dreadful when you were coming here."
Ayra noticed how his voice changed from a soft one to a deadly one. In a snap of the moment, he returned to his kingly aura. The demon named Maze replied with sneer, his eyes glaring at Ayra,
" You let another creature roam freely here but we aren’t allowed to visit different realms. Where is justice, my lord?"
Another demon added whose whole head was burnt, only a rotten skull could be seen in his appearance,
" You punished my son for leaving the realm for once yet you let a girl come to us. A king should know his limits."
Ayra looked troubled by their words. They all seemed angry especially at her. No one welcomed her presence here. She didn’t know that rules were so different here. Ever since she was born, she has always travelled between fairy realms and vampire realms without any explanation.
Despite facing their wrath, Ralph remained calm. He didn’t want to put Ayra in danger. Besides that, no one knew about her arrival especially Cedric. It would be difficult if the demons preyed on Ayra. Ralph voiced out sternly, his eyes snapping between the demons,
" She is here as my guest. She isn’t here to stay with us. I don’t need to give you an explanation for inviting someone here. Go back to your work!"
The demons were more pissed off by his answer. Maze glared at Ayra again before spitting his words out, 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
" She is an angel if I feel the right. You let our sworn enemy enter here? Apologize but we don’t appreciate your gesture now. Let the girl be punished here. She should have known her limits before coming here."
Ralph took a step forward, his eyes slowly turning pitch black,
" Who are you to decide the punishment? The king? It is I who decides what happens in my kingdom. "
Maze rebuked sharply, his eyes still lingering on Ayra who was a few steps away from them,
" Then you should have remembered before punishing those demons who went to different realms. The law should be the same for everyone, my lord. I remember it clearly, my lord. The demon realm law says that a creature should turn into a part demon if she or he enters our demon willingly or accidentally."
This time, Ayra gasped in shock as she never heard this rule before. Ralph’s expression turned grim as well because he almost forgot the law. The demons were sensitive and easily angered creatures. It would be difficult if they caused any havoc.
Maze had already extended his step to approach Ayra which was swiftly blocked by Ralph’s body. He looked deeply into Maze’s eyes before saying one by one,
" If you dare to touch her, you have to face me first."
Maze turned hesitant on his remark but soon, other demons joined who began to say in unison,
" LAW FOR EVERYONE! JUSTICE FOR EVERYONE!"
Ayra looked perplexed by their protest. Moving her hand backwards, she tried to invite her own magic but she failed every time. After several times,her face turned black in shock to realize that her powers didn’t work in the Demon Realm. She looked around in search of Arcabous but the dragon wasn’t seen anywhere.
Did they happen to harm Arcabous too?
She wouldn’t be able to forgive herself even if something bad happened to Arcabous. Ralph challenged the demons again, standing as a shield in front of Ayra,
" I will see who dare to touch her in front of my presence."
Maze and the skulled demon shared a look among each other. Within a second, they both grabbed Ralph by his arms, pushing him away from Ayra’s side. Maze sneered in rage, taunting Ralph who couldn’t use his full powers,
" Forgive me, my king but you have forgotten that you have lost half of your powers already. You are no match in front of our joined force."
Ayra cried out, trying to bribe the demons with her words,
" Let him go! I will never come here again. Don’t hurt him!"
The other demons approached her as the front one replied in a raspy voice, sounding so odd,
" Just turn one of us, woman! You won’t need permission again."
Ayra shook her head stubbornly, fear filling her eyes as she watched how Ralph struggled against Maze and the skulled demon,
" NEVER!! NEVER!!!I will never turn into a demon."
The front demon said in a hoarse voice, stepping closer to Ayra,
" Then die here and let your soul be trapped in our realm."
