Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 113: Ronan’s Story
"Your Majesty, did you come to attack me on that full night then?"
"Arielle, there’s one condition where I can’t control my animal side’s instincts. During a full moon, I can’t control it. I felt like I was forced to fall asleep and didn’t realize I had broken something. From a young age, I always learned to transform until I finally mastered it, but it’s just that on a full moon night, my father and I can never control this curse..."
"Every full moon?"
Ronan nodded. "That’s why every full moon, all people in the palace are forbidden to leave their rooms. Guards in the palace are brought out to keep me from attacking the citizens. But I did escape once."
Arielle straightened her body to look at the king. The man’s tone turned very low. His brows furrowed as he tried not to feel pain when he spoke of that disastrous night.
"I was fourteen at the time. My mother had just given birth to my little sister. She was very beautiful."
The man’s voice trembled even more, which made Arielle feel sad too. Arielle cupped Ronan’s face and gently stroked it. It felt like Arielle knew what was going on because she didn’t see the man’s younger sister.
"My father transformed before me. He attacked a guard guarding my sister’s room and proceeded to attack my sister’s room. All the guards deployed in the palace were used to surround my father, and I was free to leave the palace." Ronan tried to calm his pounding heart.
Ronan added, "I don’t remember what happened. The full moon took all my memories that night. I remember waking up near the forest and being found by an innkeeper."
Arielle pressed her lips when she heard Ronan’s story. Something in her heart told her that something really, really bad happened on that night to the young Ronan.
The king took a deep breath before he continued his words. "I returned to the palace, and everything was a mess. I found the body of a large wolf lying in the palace garden. Dozens of arrows pierced my father’s body. The entire Blackthorn palace was covered in corpses of knights with claw wounds on their bodies."
His next words literally sent chills down Arielle’s spine. "I ran looking for my mother... She was crying, hugging the body of my sister, who hadn’t been able to walk. And that was when I got this wound."
Ronan looked at Arielle with teary eyes. "I’m a cursed child. I’m not fully human. I don’t deserve to live, she said. The wound my mother made didn’t hurt at all, even though blood had soaked all over my clothes. Her words hurt more, Arielle. It was then I realized what my mother said was right. I’m not fully human. I am just a monster."
"Oh... Your Majesty..." Arielle shook her head slowly. Her heart ached for the man. Tears started dripping down from the corner of her eyes.
She hugged the man tightly. Ronan’s body began to tremble as he recalled the words his mother had said. From then on, Ronan decided to cover himself and not let others see the face with the wound his mother made.
Only a few people he trusted were able to see the wound... and now Arielle too. For Ronan, Arielle had entered his life completely. Therefore the girl’s refusal when she saw his other side broke his heart.
Ronan had been through a lot of terrible things. His grief at being ignored by his relatives was nothing compared to the trauma the man had felt. Seeing the many deaths of the closest people in front of his eyes must have left him traumatize, especially when his own mother cursed him.
"I promise to always be by your side," Arielle said confidently. "I will never leave you."
Ronan didn’t want to be hopeful, but the girl’s words sounded very serious.
"You’re going to stay in the North?" the man asked. "Is that true...?"
Arielle thought about it for a moment. She bit her lip because she had something to say, but she wasn’t sure if her heart was more important than Ronan’s current state. Arielle always thought about this... but right now, Arielle wanted to focus on apologizing for her fear earlier.
The girl shook her head quickly. No. No. She had to say it.
"Your Majesty... there are a few things I want to tell you," she spoke with a hoarse voice.

Outside the king’s room, behind the door, William was leaning waiting for something. He had repeatedly knocked on the door of the king’s room but no one answered.
The man ventured to open the door to say something. However, what he saw made William back away and close the door.
Arielle was crying on the lap of the king, who was not wearing a single piece of cloth. William’s face was bright red. He covered his mouth to hold back a chuckle that he couldn’t contain.
"Is he in heat? My gosh, I hope Princess Arielle’s first experience won’t traumatize her."
William remembered the princess’s face, which was wet with tears, and then he stuttered again.
"Please be gentle, Your Majesty. I know you haven’t touched a woman in a long time, but I’m sure this is Princess Arielle’s first experience," the man whispered before leaving the door of the king’s room.
William whistled happily as he left the king’s room. His eyes widened when he saw Kael walking towards him.
He forgot to ask the man to follow him because he intended to invite the king to drink together. William hurriedly turned Kael’s body and motioned for him to walk the other way. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
"Where’s the king?"
"Sst.. we won’t bother him. He’s busy... with Princess Arielle."
"Shouldn’t we be drinking?" the man asked, confused.
William saw Lucas standing alone, he was ordered to watch over the party, and at this time, some people had started to leave.
"Tonight, let’s take Lucas with us. Lucas!" William called as Lucas turned his head to the side. He added to Kael, "Princess Arielle won’t be returning to her room tonight. We’ll just have a drink."
"Eh?"
William shut Kael’s mouth quickly and then put an arm around the confused Lucas’ shoulder.

"Your Majesty... there are a few things I want to tell you."
Ronan nodded and gave the girl permission to speak. Ronan suddenly shuddered as he felt the night wind touch his back, then he saw the door to his room was closed again. He realized that sitting naked with Arielle on top could provoke something the girl didn’t want.
"Arielle, before that. May I get dressed first? I really don’t mind if you want to stay in this position all night, it’s just that I don’t want you to be uncomfortable by some of the things that happen if we continue like this."
Arielle looked at Ronan’s exposed chest. Her face searched for the man’s torn clothes, including his pants as well.
Arielle rushed to her feet and faced the wall, while her face flushed with shame. She just realized that she had been sitting on the body of a naked man.
