Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 310: Descendant of Moon Goddess
Arielle opened her eyes, and that was when she felt she was falling from above. Luckily, two people caught her body so she didn’t fall to the ground.
Her heart was beating crazily. She felt sweat dripping down her forehead. Arielle looked around the room and saw that the people in the room were looking at her in fear.
Priest Elis and Priest Khan were sitting in pain on each wall. They looked like they had been blown away by some powerful force. Both of their eyes were gleaming with tears. When Arielle looked at Priest Elis, the man widened his eyes in surprise.
"P-princess, your eyes!?"
Arielle turned to Priest Khan, who was limping in his place. With his body in pain, the man immediately bowed to Arielle, who was still confused about everything that had happened earlier.
"Long live the child of Moon Goddess!" shouted Priest Khan loudly.
Another turbaned man also kneeled beside Priest Khan, and was followed by everyone in the room who bowed down to Arielle.
Arielle turned back to Priest Elis for an explanation, but the man also kneeled in front of her..
"Long live the child of Moon Goddess!" said Priest Elis in a trembling voice.
Before Arielle could understand, her vision blurred and she fainted.

Arielle blinked her eyes slowly. She could only lie down. It felt like her body had been crushed by a huge stone, and her strength was being drained out at once. The last time she remembered was something that was very weird.
Arielle didn’t know what had happened. She thought she saw the people bowing to her, but because she was too exhausted, she fainted. And then, some people shouted a weird name toward her.
Lucas, Sasha, Tania, who was also carrying Crimson, and even Kael were all gathered in Priest Elis’ room. They heard about Arielle fainting. And they come in rush.
In front of her, Priest Khan sat on the floor, facing Arielle. He was looking at Arielle expectantly. Tania shifted to see the princess’s face. The woman gasped in surprise at the significant change in her princess’s eyes.
"Whoa!! Your eyes are blue now!" exclaimed Sasha, who could not withhold his admiration.
Kael pulled the boy so as not to disturb Arielle.
"Blue?" Arielle asked in confusion.
Arielle did not have blue eyes. Her irises were pitch black. Maybe Sasha saw them wrong. Feeling uncomfortable surrounded by many people, Arielle got up and sat on the edge of the couch.
She swept her gaze around the room with a strange feeling. Everyone looked at her with various expressions. Most of them were looking at her as if she was some weird thing, a sacred being. Arielle didn’t like this feeling. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
Priest Elis offered her a glass of water with a deeply bent body.
"Your Highness," he said, giving her a glass of water with his trembling hands.
Arielle accepted it, even though she didn’t drink it. She accidentally looked at a mirror near the glass window belonging to Priest Elis. Her body stiffened until the water glass slipped from her hand. The sound of glass breaking echoed in the room.
With sluggish steps, Arielle approached the mirror to see clearly what she had just seen. When she stood up, everyone stepped aside to give her way.
In the mirror, there was a woman with bright blue eyes. Arielle shook her head in disbelief. The shadow didn’t belong to her. Once again, she convinced herself that her eye color had always been black!
Her father, the late King Hugo, had the same eye color as her; black. Whereas Andrea, Alexis, and Annelise had blue eyes because of Queen Rosalie’s descendant. However, the blue they had was not as bright as she saw right now.
"No-no... it’s not me," said Arielle who started to panic. The girl turned quickly to ask Priest Elis for an explanation of what had happened to her eyes. "Tell me, Priest. What happened to my eyes? What have you done to me?!"
Arielle fell to the floor and started crying in fear. She covered her eyes, hoping that what she just saw was an illusion.
Tania handed Crimson to Kael and hugged the princess tightly.
"Tania... What happened to me? It’s not me. How can I get back my former eyes, Tania?"
Tania did not know what to answer. When Arielle fainted earlier, Priest Elis, and the man from Thebis named Khan said that Arielle was one of the descendants of a goddess.
Tania couldn’t really understand when they explained what had happened to Arielle’s mana. However, what she could grasp was Arielle was the person they had been looking for.
They said the Moon Goddess would always be near them to bestow blessings on every living being. From ancient records, it was said that part of the Moon Goddess’ soul always reincarnated from one body to another. It could be in the form of a woman or a man. Those reincarnated souls were called the children of the Moon Goddess.
In Thebis, they always looked for someone who could extinguish the eternal fire, just like in Northendell they also looked for a way to melt their eternal snow. Thebis had a tradition every ten years to test one of their High Priests to prove whether the person with the highest knowledge and closest to the Moon Goddess was one of the Moon Goddess’s children.
Priest Khan and Priest Elis believed that Princess Arielle was one of the children of the Moon Goddess. Priest Elis looked up, but when their eyes met, the man looked down as if seeing Arielle was something forbidden.
"Priest Elis, allow me to explain all this," replied Priest Khan.
"Your Highness," Priest Khan called Arielle who was crying in Tania’s arms, feeling that all of this was not true. "Perhaps this is very surprising to you. But we are no less surprised by this. We have been searching for this answer for hundreds of years."
Arielle rubbed her face. "Priest Khan, what exactly happened to me? All of these scares me."
