"OTIS! WHAT KIND OF A SHIT DO YOU BRING, OTIS?" Xieno asked Otis who was still sitting on the ground.

"Maxieno, Arielle is a child I believe that can help many Northerners. We can escape the confines of this false dimension."

"Nonsense! I sentenced you to two days sitting in that place! After that, take that disgusting human away from my territory!" Xieno turned around, slamming the castle door behind him off its hinges.

"Two days? Why so harsh? Lord Otis is an old man! You should respect an elder, Maxieno!" said Arielle who can’t stand this foolish thing.

Xieno suddenly came back out of the castle. Then, Otis blinked at the sight of the dragon’s red hair giving off fire and smoldering.

"Oh, shit." Otis cursed.

In an instant, Xieno turned into a huge dragon with his wings spread wide to block the sun in the east from hitting that place. Otis looked panicked when Xieno opened his mouth wide. The man grabbed Arielle and hugged her tightly. There was a one second pause, as Xieno took a deep breath, and without warning, he spat out orange flames at Otis and Arielle.

Luffy, who was running late, almost got burned because his wings were also hit by Xieno’s flames. He rolled to the ground so the flames on his burning wings were extinguished by the ground.

The flames Xieno spouted were far hotter than normal flames. Arielle, who had resistance to fire herself, was not strong enough to withstand the heat. The part of her hair that was not protected by Otis was also burned by Xieno’s fire. Otis who realized that immediately smacked Arielle’s burning hair.

The girl screamed as her feet were also caught in the fire. It was almost the same as when she was sick a while ago. It felt like many needles peeling off her skin.

Hearing Arielle’s scream of pain, Xieno stopped spitting out flames. The dragon shrunk and turned back into a fully clothed human. Xieno looked at Otis and Arielle in amusement, then entered the castle whose door had been broken.

Otis got up and saw Arielle’s condition. There were no serious burns, only the girl’s right leg was slightly red. There was no sign of a blister either, but Otis had to treat it right away. He saw Arielle’s long hair, which was half burnt.

Arielle was still crying in pain.

"It’s okay. You’ll be fine. Let’s treat your wound first. You haven’t got your full power yet. If you have mastered your power, Xieno’s flames are just a mere gust of wind for you. Come on, no need to cry. I will help you. I promise."

Arielle wiped her tears and nodded. Otis helped the girl to her feet. All the dragons who saw the incident earlier left them because they didn’t want to help Otis or Arielle.

"Thank you, Luffy. But you also need to treat your wounds too. Your wings have burns."

"I know. Otis can help too, right?"

Otis nodded. Arielle couldn’t bear to ride the dragon child. No matter how hard Arielle refused, Luffy still forced her to climb onto his back, and Otis also advised Arielle to go up because the girl wouldn’t be able to walk all the way back to her hut.

The wind blowing from behind made Arielle’s hair blow forward, and she could see that many parts of her hair were burning.

"I’m sorry that I couldn’t protect your hair," said Otis, feeling guilty.

Arielle shook his head.

"Please don’t talk like that, Lord Otis. You have saved my life. Of course, I am very grateful. It’s just hair. It will grow with time."

Arielle also thought her long hair might be a bit annoying when she learned her power later. She had decided to cut her hair short later.

"Lord Otis, would it be okay for you to leave the castle? Xieno will not be mad at you again, right?’

Lord Otis chuckled.

"Dragons are creatures with high egos. Spitting out his flames like earlier would have satisfied him, and it wouldn’t be long before he’d be looking for me. I just have to apologize and praise him a little bit, and Xieno will forget my mistake completely. After all, I am his servant. He can’t do anything without me. Isn’t that right, Luffy?"

Luffy shook his head.

"You’re wrong Otis. Xieno is a dragon full of charisma. He is my role model. Didn’t you see how strong he was when he shot his flames earlier? I really admire him. Xieno is more powerful than you think," Luffy replied.

Otis just nodded, confirming Luffy’s words. Even though Xieno almost burned Luffy’s entire wing, the young dragon seemed didn’t mind it.

"Didn’t you almost get burned by Xieno’s flames? Aren’t you upset?" asked Arielle curiously.

"No. Absolutely not. I even considered the flames earlier as my lucky token!" Luffy replied enthusiastically.

Otis leaned to the side. "The logic of the dragons is very strange. You don’t have to think about it," the man whispered, and Arielle answered with a nod of her head.
