Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 504: Arielle Is Burning
(Help me...)
"Huh?"
Arielle’s flames were almost extinguished. Because her focus was interrupted by a strange voice in her head, she fell from the top of the cave to the foot of the rocky hill.
What was that? Arielle asked inwardly, not understanding the strange thing that happened earlier. However, before she got back from her confusion, a black wolf with burning fur jumped to lunge at Arielle. Its mouth was opened wide, ready to bite her neck.
"ARIELLEE!!!" Abigail shouted.
Arielle clenched her fists again, but the flames didn’t come out of her hands. Where was her power? Why couldn’t she let out her flames again? Arielle wanted to dodge, but all her bones felt crushed. She was unable to move. The girl closed her eyes, not ready to die like this.
"ROOOAAR!!!!
Arielle opened her eyes again. Blood trickled down her face. The wolf that was about to come crashing down on her was gone. Arielle turned to the side where there was a thumping sound. There it was. The wolf that attacked her was slumped helplessly on the rock with a scratch wound on its chest.
Above her, there was a brown dragon that was so beautiful. She flapped her wide wings, covering the moonlight. The dragon then descended beside Arielle and transformed into Abigail who was holding her stomach.
"Arielle... I can’t hold it in anymore..."
Arielle moved her legs, which were finally able to move. Every tip of her fingers hurt so much, and it turned out that her ten fingertips’ skin had peeled off. Arielle just shook it off, not understanding why it could be like that. Her priority now was to look after Abigail.
With a sprained leg, Arielle stumbled towards Abigail. She approached the woman who fell against a large rock.
Arielle had to get Abigail away from here immediately. She didn’t know if the wolf was still alive or not. Besides, she couldn’t let out her flames anymore. Her body was hurt so much to focus on regulating her mana.
"Abigail, hang on a little longer. We have to find a safe place first."
Abigail shook her head. The cramping in her stomach was unbearable. Arielle put Abigail’s hand on her shoulder and forced the woman to stand up and run away from there.
Abigail saw Arielle’s fingers, which were bleeding profusely. The woman bit her lip and forced the rest of her strength to get up quickly. Arielle had protected her to this extent. She couldn’t waste the human girl’s efforts.
Abigail nodded, and the two of them tried to leave the cave. Arielle and Abigail’s steps stopped when they heard a growl. They turned and saw how the black wolf was trying to get up. Blood was clearly dripping from its stomach, but the wolf still forced itself to stand up.
"Rrrr..."
Arielle clenched her jaw and led Abigail to keep going. They had to keep their distance as far as possible from the wolf. Arielle could feel the red eyes looking at her as if they had pierced through her body. She took a deep breath and clenched her left hand, which was not holding Abigail.
"Arielle," called Abigail.
Arielle released Abigail’s arm from her shoulder and pushed the woman to keep running. Her left hand ignited flames again, and the wolf managed to bite it.
"Arielle!!"
Arielle’s body was smoldering with flames again. The flames that had been extinguished were now back, and with blood dripping from the wolf’s mouth, Arielle’s blood instantly turned into flames and burned the wolf’s face. She looked into the wolf’s red eyes, which were in pain by her flames.
Those eyes reminded him of Ronan.
The wolf released its mouth from Arielle’s left hand. Abigail fell down unable to bear the pain in her stomach. Arielle, who was in pain, touched one of the trees, setting it on fire. Because the trees in the forest were close to each other, the flames spread quickly.
Arielle fell unconscious, and the wolf that managed to extinguish the flames in its face lunged at the girl again. Abigail was resigned to turning back into a dragon and threw the wolf with her wide wings, so it flew and crashed into one of the burning trees. She finally knocked the wolf down.
Abigail gripped the burning Arielle with her hands. Then, she flew up into the sky, leaving the burning forest. She didn’t care if Arielle’s body burned her. The girl’s flames weren’t as hot as Maxieno’s. What Abigail was worried about was the skin on Arielle’s fingers and the back of the girl’s hand, which began to peel off little by little.
Abigail couldn’t fly high. She could only fly a little because staying in her dragon form would only speed up her contractions. It also meant she would give birth soon. A desperate Abigail roared to the sky. Her head felt dizzy, and her vision began to blur. Abigail tried to fly higher and higher against her limit. Until she lost consciousness.
"Arielle... I’m sorry... I’m sorry"
The link between her legs on Arielle loosened. Abigail fell from the air, as well as Arielle who was still burned by her flames. However, before she lost consciousness completely, Abigail saw a huge red dragon clutching Arielle, and the flames in the girl’s body were instantly extinguished. Now Abigail was just waiting for her body to hit the ground.

Ronan crumpled the paper in front of him. He had not received a call from Arielle for three days. Ronan wanted to return to Birwick Mountain, but he knew that no matter how far he went, he would not be able to find Arielle. Every time Ronan tried to call Arielle, only silence answered him.
Ronan could neither eat nor sleep. He also had trouble concentrating on his work. Every day, Ronan spent his time by sitting in front of Arielle’s painting, waiting for the girl’s call. William, Kael, or Lazarus didn’t dare to interrupt him. Any food they brought just ended up cold in front of the man’s room. Ronan didn’t touch it at all.
Ronan’s room was a mess. The man vented his anger by slamming everything in his way. All of Arielle’s clothes lay on the bed, and empty alcohol bottles filled the table.
