"It’s positive, Olivia," Sentencia said.

"You are pregnant, Olivia. You’re going to be a mom." she added.

After that day that Silvia and Davian kissed, things between them have been a little awkward. Silvia was being a little awkward, they only had small talks.

Davian was completely fine now and would be going back home today. He was in his room packing then the door towards his room opened, his head turned towards the door and Silvia walked in.

"Hey," she said.

"Hey," he replied, turning back to what he was doing before she had entered.

She walked closer to him; "Ray’s here." she informed.

"Okay, I’ll be done in a minute," he replied.

Silvia didn’t move, she just stared at him.

"Should I help you out?" she offered.

"No, I’m almost done," he replied.

"Since you are fully recovered now, the wedding will be taking place a week after next week," she told and he just nodded.

He carried his luggage preparing to leave, his eyes glanced at her before he walked passed her towards the door. She held his arm to stop him. He turned towards her.

"Wait..." she said.

"What?" he asked.

"Uhm..." she trailed searching for what to say. She can’t tell him to stay. Why did she even stop him? But now she already did and has to figure out what to say without hurting her pride and sounding lonely or...

He hugged the words out of her mouth and mind. She hugged him back, it was such a comforting embrace and it was more than words could give. It spake for them.

He let go and stared at her, she wants to continue hugging him. She felt like nothing else would matter in the world as long as she could hug him forever.

"Thank you, Silvia. For everything, and...bye." he said and walked away.

She sat on the bed, that lonely feeling clouding her mind immediately he walked out the door. Even though the last few days were awkward between them, she still likes having him around.

She slumped on the bed, why was she being so sentimental? It’s not like he was going away to another country. She could see him anytime she wanted but...

It’s not the same as having him close.

What’s wrong with her? They were about to get married, and would be seeing more of each other for the next one year.

Davian and Ray had already drove off. Ray was driving, Davian had already told him to make a stop at the penthouse where his mom was.

She knew he would be leaving Silvia’s house today. She had told him the last time she came visiting him at Silvia’s place which was yesterday, that he should come to the penthouse, she would cook for him.

One because she was happy about his recovery and two because she misses him. She is so use in living with him that it was so lonely staying in the penthouse even though the maids and two bodyguards were there 24/7.

They got there and alighted from the car. Davian with his luggage.

"Hey, Davian. Are you okay?" Ray asked when they were in the elevator.

"Why did you ask?" Davian responded.

"Nothing, you just look a little down," Ray said.

"I’m fine." Davian replied.

"Okay," Ray nodded in surrender, but a mischievous grin appeared on his face.

"You are missing her already aren’t you?" he asked and Davian gazed at him.

Ding! The elevator opened once it reached their floor.

"I really don’t have to answer that," he said and walked out of the elevator. Ray chuckled and walked out too.

"Okay, you don’t have to but I know the feeling." Ray tsk at the ending.

"Good for you. But let’s drop it," Davian responded as they got closer to the door, a male bodyguard was standing there.

Davian had almost forgotten that Silvia had assigned bodyguards to watch over his mother. His mother must be uncomfortable but this was the best, he doesn’t want what happened to him to happen to her.

"Mr. Davian," the bodyguard welcomed him as if they’ve met before.

"He is with you right?" he asked referring to Ray.

"Yes." Davian responded. Maybe he was briefed on the specific people allowed to see his mom.

The bodyguard opened the door with the swipe of the card and allowed the duo in. Mrs Randell was already waiting for them, she was more than glad to see Davian.

"Come, I already finished preparing the meals for you," she said excitedly after hugging her son, she so missed cooking for him.

"Would you like to join, Ray?" she asked.

"No, already ate, thanks anyway. Uhm Davian?" Ray called and Davian just glanced at him.

"Why don’t we meet up later? Our usual place, me, you and Lucas. It’s been a while," Ray suggested.

"Yes. Okay then." Davian responded.

"Great, see you then. Bye Mrs Randell." Ray uttered as he prepared to take his leave. Mrs Randell smiled and waved him goodbye.

...

Later that day, Davian met up with his friends as planned. It was an organized bar and the trio were at the snooker section, they played the game and sipped their drinks as they made small talks.

"Hey Davian. What’s wrong with you today? You haven’t talked much since we arrived here," Lucas noticed.

"Haven’t I?" Davian asked, a forced grin on his face.

"Yes. And you are playing so terribly," Ray seconded Lucas.

"Did that woman perhaps do something to you during your stay with her?" Lucas speculated.

"Nope." Davian replied, finally knocking two balls into the holes of the snooker table.

"I know what’s wrong with him..." Ray said trailing off.

Lucas and Davian both stared at him, anticipating what he would say next.

"You like her don’t you?" Ray added.

Davian smiled, he leaned over the snooker table and played two more balls into the holes before he responded;

"That’s the funny thing," Davian admitted.

"(Scoff) Really dude?!" Lucas exclaimed.

"Do you think she likes you back?" Ray asked.

"I don’t know and it’s not like I want to confess my feelings for her or expect her to like me in return," Davian replied.

"Good. And I’ll advise you to get over it, for your sanity’s sake. She’s way out of your league," Ray continued.

"I know and...I will." Davian responded.

Being pregnant wasn’t the hardest part in Olivia’s situation. Breaking the news of her pregnancy to Leo was.

Her fingers pinched on each other, her usual habit when she was anxious. The car drove off to Leo’s villa if he might be there. Axel was so elated when he received the news of her pregnancy.

He wanted her to go straight to Leo immediately, so that their plan could be set in motion already.

They arrived at Leo’s villa and she got out of the car once they were allowed into the villa and the car came to a halt.

Taking a deep breath, she walked into the villa. She was welcomed by some domestic staffs.

"Is Leonard home?" she asked.

"Yes, madam. I’ve seen you here before," the butler acknowledged.

"He is in. Let me show you the way," he added, she nodded and followed him.

He took her to a double sided door and he knocked on it. He glanced at Olivia giving her a ’just wait here’ signal as he walked in after hearing Leonard say ’come in’ from inside.

"Sir, someone’s here to see you. A woman," the butler informed.

"A woman?" Leo said. He wasn’t expecting anyone today talkless of a woman.

"Who is she?" he asked.

"She’s the one you brought to the villa a night before you left the country." the butler answered.

A woman he brought to the villa a night before he left the country. There was only one woman he has ever brought to this villa. Could it really be her?

"Tell her to come in," he replied.

His heart skipped a beat immediately his eyes fell on Olivia. He was more than surprised to see her. He never expected her to visit him so suddenly especially after the way she left that day.

He never thought he would see her again. She never left his mind even during his business trip, all he thought about was her as if she had cast a spell on him.

"Olivia?" he voiced as he stood up.

Olivia swallowed as he came closer. He stood before her, a smile forming on his face.

"Uhm..." she tried to gather her words, her fists clenched. He too was short of words. His hand reach for her but she moved away, she bit the bottom of her lips as she stared up at him.

"Is anything wrong? My sweet kidnapper..." he smiled at her again, calling her that nickname again. She hated it.

"Please, don’t call me that." she replied.

"Okay. What are you doing here suddenly?" he asked. She didn’t respond.

"Okay, do you want me to offer you anything?" he added.

"No. I only came here to...tell you something important," she said.

"Alright, what is it?" he asked.

She sighed but stared so intensely and bravely at him.

"Leo..." she started trailing off. He stared back at her, so eager to hear what she wants to tell him. What was so important she had to come see him?

He was still a little mad about the way she left that day and didn’t even think of visiting him after he returned to the country.

"I’m pregnant, Leo." she finally said.

"?!"
