Chapter 82: Train Hard

Evangeline’s future is certain.

She was going to be the future Alpha King and save the world from the wicked hands of the Demon Prince.

One thing that was uncertain was how she was going to make that happen.

She has been naturally blessed with the strength and wisdom of the Moon God. But it wouldn’t hurt to train what she has been blessed with to perfection. So, when the time comes to meet head-to-head with the Demon Prince, she would be more than ready to take him down.

The Crown Princess of the Vampire Kingdom, The Crown Prince of the Elf kingdom, The young son of General Kain from the West of the ruins of the Fae Kingdom, The leader’s daughter of the surviving coven of the great witches of the west. Dumbleson, the dwarfed and surving giant and Lucy from the marine kingdom. These important royals with royal blood running through their veins were all gathered before the Alpha King along with Evangeline, the future Alpha King and ruler of all to give them an essential announcement concerning their future and the future of the people they would all be responsible for in the coming years.

There should be a pause to evil at some point and the Alpha King has gathered the most influential and skilled heirs from every territory they govern over in this world to be trained right here in his castle for a certain period of time.

They would live here and be trained by only the best fighters, magicians, knowledgeable sorcerers in both politics and war and prepare for the looming last battle against the wicked enigma of this world. They would be sent on different weekly quests to test how far they’ve gone in all their lessons and there wouldn’t be a moment of rest for each of them until they’ve reached a certain level of perfection.

"Therefore, I have assigned only the best teachers for you all. They would be arriving soon on the ninth day after the moon dance celebration. You are all expected to welcome them all equally and properly. Be on your best behavior and see this training as your last chance to prove your worth to the cause."

Eva listened attentively to her father’s decision on her and the rest of the royals she was yet to be familiar with. Thankfully, she was not a stranger to all of them. Prince Xalith would be training alongside her which made her to feel less anxious than she was about this.

"Train well and hard. We want only the best in you because the future of us all falls on your actions today. If the next generation after you deserves the drama to deal with such evil, or they should learn about it as something of the past. A story in a history book. That is the kind of future I want and the one the world wants as well. The moon Goddess herself would be proud and don’t be surprised if she blesses you with something that will be beyond what you’ll expect."

Eva didn’t say anything when her father asked if they had any questions or suggestions to give. No one had something to say except Princess Andrea from the Vampire Kingdom.

She looked scary like hell. Her blood moon eyes and those sharp fangs that fell just a bit below her red, full lips.

A vampire you wouldn’t want to mess with.

She stood before them confidently as she came up with interesting suggestions on how to make everything better. Her brain was active and her eyes was observing each of them with intelligence. It was like she spent most of her immortal life educating herself on many things while she lazed around all day trying to grab a hold of so many disappearing memories in her head.

Eva already felt intimidated to see her in combat training. She’d already had a greater advantage over them by being a Vampire.

After the meeting was over and everyone was appointed their room, Eva decided to visit the castle library. After that tragic event that happened in here, everyone avoided this place like a plague, and it is gradually being forgotten.

She browsed through fascinating leather covered books deciding which one would she read for the rest of the afternoon?

"Fancy seeing you here, Your Highness."

Eva turned with a book in her arms to meet with the dashing Elf Prince. She could not believe he followed her here. His beautiful lips curved into a pleasant grin down at her that she wondered if he is always this happy to see her sincerely, or it was all just a pretense. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

But like Layla would constantly try to drill in her head, the prince is too good to want to do that to her.

"And... I am so sorry for the loss."

Evangeline shook her head that she’d moved on from that. It’s no use pretending to care about the deaths of her brothers she only knew in less than weeks since her transmigration. And it seems everyone has recovered pretty well from it except her mother who still secretly visits their grave every morning to mourn their loss.

"It’s fine," She moved beside him to settle beside a soft, blue cushion placed very close to a see through wall that was partially covered in ice to show how crazy the temperature is outside these walls.

He settled beside her. She moved her legs closer to herself to make more room for him on the cushion, and she couldn’t help admire how beautifully ethereal he was this afternoon.

He was gazing through the window as she continued to read silently. But her mind wasn’t on the book. It was drawn to the deep feeling of being robbed by so many memories she had held so dear to herself. She remembered not being from this world and all that. She remembered her life from the other world and the difficulties she had...but it still felt like she was forgetting something.
