"You, you’re betraying the Tiansha Association?" Miyamoto Satoshi exclaimed in shock. The other Sang Jing Ninja Warriors couldn’t believe it either.
"I want to live!" Kuroki Suzu bellowed, accelerating the pace of her slaughter.
"You..." At this, Miyamoto Satoshi and all the surviving Ninja Warriors were certain that Kuroki Suzu was indeed betraying the Tiansha Association.
How could this happen? As a disciple of Yagyu Uemon, one of the Nine Snake Heads, Kuroki Suzu would at most be reprimanded for Mutou Bingyuan’s brutal death in Jin Ye City. The Nine Snake Heads would never actually kill her. She had absolutely no reason to betray them!

Miyamoto Satoshi panicked. "If you’re going to betray them, why drag me into it?"

"Well now, you two are major figures in Sang Jing. Why come all the way to Jin Ye City to join me?" Ye Xiu asked, playing dumb.
"You may not know this, but the man on the ground is Mutou Bingyuan, the only son of the Tiansha Association’s late leader. He was killed last night by a man with a rather generic-sounding name. Miyamoto Satoshi and I failed to protect him, so the Young Master died tragically in a foreign land. If we were to return home, we would face certain death.
