She took the letter, casually set it on the corner of her desk without reading it further, and instead looked at Vice President Lee with great concern. "Sister Lee, we've worked together for many years. I know you well, and you know me. Let's not discuss work right now; let's talk about personal matters. Has something happened in your family?"

Vice President Lee's face changed slightly, then she managed a forced smile. "Nothing's wrong."
