Callix Linton’s voice suddenly came through the phone. Whether it was Sophia Wood at the courtyard gate or Lily Turner in the room, both were startled.

Lily was taken aback and hung up the phone. Without worrying if she was still in her pajamas, she hurriedly left the room and rushed downstairs.

"Girl! This is your home. How can you let your mom and sister stay outside when they’re here?"

Before Lily could even finish her sentence, Callix Linton cut her off. Seeing her running down in pajamas, he knew she had just woken up and was startled by his words.

As Callix spoke, Lily looked around, not seeing anyone else, she got anxious, "Grandpa! Have you already sent someone out to pick them up?"

If her mom came and made a scene, how could her aged grandfather handle such a noisy situation?

"Yes! I asked Lucas Zimmerman to drive out to pick them up."

Before Lily came downstairs, Callix had already instructed his guard Lucas to drive out.

The speed and the situation made Lily anxious. She turned to chase after them but realized she was still in her pajamas after taking just a step.

She stomped her foot in urgency, turned back around, walked to the phone, and immediately dialed her sister, Alice Turner’s, number.

"Hello!"

The call was picked up just after one ring.

"Sis! Please take mom back. I’ll contact you later." Lily didn’t care if Callix was sitting beside her; she anxiously urged Alice to take Sophia back, her whole demeanor looking more worried.

Upon hearing this, Callix reached out to take the phone from her, quickly putting it to his ear. As soon as he did so, Alice’s voice came through, "Mom really has something urgent to discuss, not here to cause trouble. Please trust me."

Callix knew nothing of what transpired between Sophia and Lily. He hadn’t heard anything about the events of last night.

Now, hearing Alice’s words, he felt nothing but surprise and confusion, but he didn’t show it. His expression remained unchanged.

"You must be Lily’s sister? I’m Easton’s grandfather, I..."

"Oh?! Grandpa! Hello!"

Hearing a voice that wasn’t her sister Lily’s, Alice was a bit surprised. Before Callix could finish speaking, she exclaimed.

Compared to Alice’s amazement over the phone, Callix remained very calm, with no change in expression.

As Callix spoke, he glanced up and down at Lily, who was in pajamas with messy hair, his face clearly showing disapproval.

Upon hearing Callix’s reminder, Lily instinctively looked down at her pajamas, then looked back at him. She hesitated for a moment before finally turning away from the living room to go back upstairs to change.
