Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap-Chapter 577: An Insider Dinner 4
Aiden Taylor and Michael Linton had already discussed and planned everything beforehand, and things went smoothly, allowing Aiden to stay without much effort.
It wasn’t until Aiden sat down that Lily Turner suddenly remembered that the man who had just sat down was Evelyn Taylor’s father, and she did not feel hostile towards him because of Evelyn.
"I’ll introduce Easton. Beside him is his newly married wife, Lily Turner!"
While Lily was contemplating whether to greet Aiden proactively, Michael had already spoken and took the initiative to introduce her to Aiden.
Aiden came today specifically to see Lily Turner. Once inside, he tried to keep his eyes following her movements. If he weren’t worried about Easton Holmes noticing, he would have taken a good look at his niece. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
"We met once before at Mr. Linton’s house." After responding to Michael, Aiden turned his head to look at Lily Turner, who was sitting not far to his right, and smiled, "Hello!"
He observed her without making it obvious, and indeed, her eyes were exactly like his brother’s.
"Hello!"
Lily returned the smile, knowing it’s hard to reciprocate with hostility.
Aiden wanted to ask something more, but he feared that being too enthusiastic would arouse Lily’s suspicion. He knew he had to take it slow with this matter.
"Everyone, hurry and eat, or the food will get cold." Seeing the atmosphere turn a bit awkward, Michael timely spoke to alleviate it. He glanced at Aiden, then at Lily Turner, picked up his chopsticks, and gestured at the food on the table, urging them to eat.
Although Aiden was not there just for the meal, he had to shift his attention to the food and appeared to eat with intent.
Lily Turner couldn’t think of anything else, sincerely believing it was just an accidental encounter, seeing nothing unusual, she picked up her chopsticks and continued eating.
Easton Holmes noticed something amiss. Initially, he thought Aiden’s arrival was a mere coincidence. However, when his uncle, Michael Linton, appeared, he instantly felt the situation was overly coincidental, riddled with doubts.
He now suspected that when his uncle left the room earlier, it wasn’t just a careless act of not closing the door but a deliberate action.
His uncle’s lunch invitation today must be connected to Aiden Taylor’s sudden appearance, but he needed to observe a bit longer to understand the underlying details.
Easton continued eating while discreetly observing Aiden and Michael. His focus was primarily on Aiden.
He noticed that while Aiden seemed to be eating attentively, he wasn’t truly focused. During the meal, Aiden occasionally glanced at Lily Turner, with a gaze that Easton couldn’t yet interpret.
What exactly was Aiden Taylor trying to do? Why did he keep looking at his wife?
Although he couldn’t decipher the hidden elements in Aiden’s gaze, he was sure there was no hostility in it.
Aiden and Michael’s attention was entirely on Lily Turner, without realizing Easton Holmes had become suspicious of them. Meanwhile, they were both quietly pondering what their next steps should be.
While everyone was having a decent meal, Lily Turner suddenly felt as if several gazes were on her. However, when she looked up, she found nothing.
