Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap-Chapter 834: Your Words Are Even Sweeter Than Your Songs
William Turner suddenly appeared at the door of the room, and both Alice Turner and Lily Turner thought something had happened downstairs, causing them to worry.
Especially Alice, she jumped up from the sofa and strode towards her brother who had walked in, "Why did you come up?"
She hadn’t reached her brother yet when she threw the worried question at him.
"Brother-in-law asked me to come up and call you down, saying it’s time to prepare for the ceremony." The time for the wedding was almost here, and guests downstairs were gradually leaving for the hall, so Easton Holmes sent William Turner upstairs to fetch the four sisters in the room.
Since nothing bad had happened, Alice breathed a sigh of relief, "Have all the guests downstairs left?"
With so many guests downstairs, she thought they couldn’t leave all at once.
"Some have already gone, the rest are gradually heading out." William Turner didn’t notice his sister’s earlier worry and truthfully informed her of the situation downstairs.
Alice didn’t continue to inquire about the guests from her brother, grabbing William’s arm and pulling him toward herself.
This sudden action startled William, "Big sis! What are you doing?"
He only sees his big sister act this way when he makes mistakes, and she would always teach him a lesson, but he hadn’t done anything wrong this time.
"You rascal! To you, are those ridiculous red envelopes more important than your sisters?" Alice wanted to teach her brother a lesson for choosing red envelopes over his two elder sisters, but never found a chance until now.
Taking advantage of the moment she had some time, Alice decided to teach her money-loving brother a lesson, or who knows what he might do for those envelopes that would hurt his two sisters.
Realizing his sister was scolding him over the red envelope issue, William immediately put on what he believed was a charming smile, "How could those red envelopes be more important than my sisters? In my heart, big sis and second sis are the most most most important."
He instantly switched to flattery mode, just wanting to cheer his two sisters up.
"Your words sound better than singing, saying your two sisters are the most important, sounds nice, but someone has to believe it." Alice raised her hand and gave William a pat on the shoulder, originally wanting to slap his head, but couldn’t bring herself to do it.
William glanced past Alice and looked at Lily Turner sitting on the sofa watching, "Second sis! Everything I just said is from the heart, please help me talk to big sis."
Lily and Alice have two completely different styles in dealing with William; the former being gentle and instructional, the latter being straightforward and rough.
William prefers the gentle instructional style, as at least he doesn’t have to suffer physical damage; his big sis is a Taekwondo black belt, and if it ever came to a fight, he wouldn’t be able to beat her.
"Where’s the red envelope you just received?"
Lily didn’t say whether she would help or not, instead suddenly asked about the envelope.
Upon hearing it, William became defensive, "Why are you asking?"
He instinctively used his hand to cover the pocket of his clothes, and Alice was the first to notice this; she reached out to dig into his pocket.
"Big sis! What are you doing?"
William strongly covered his pocket, refusing to let his big sis take the envelope stashed there.
"Didn’t you just say your two sisters are more important than the envelopes? Then take them out." Lily got up and walked towards the two of them to join her sister in teaching their brother a lesson.
