Li Qiang was the first one to wake up. He looked at Xin Yan who was peacefully snuggled into his arms, and a smile blossomed on his face.

Last night was one of the best nights of his life, and he savored every moment with her.

"Good morning," she whispered, pushing herself towards him.

Gu Shishi who had just approached them heard what Li Qiang had said, and her face was filled with immense hurt.

She sighed, before giving him a bright smile to cover how she really felt, but Xin Yan was able to catch her expression before she could mask it, and a frown coated her face.

"Of course not!" Xin Yan’s reply was immediate.

"You see, and I meant every word I said, I do not talk to strangers, or even give them my hand to shake, what if they have some microscopic germ?" Li Qiang shuddered at the thought, his reasoning completely baffling Xin Yan.

She could only shake her head, knowing that she could not convince him.

After their dishes had been served, they both dug into the meal. Halfway through the meal, Xin Yan was pressed, and she needed to use the washroom.

Once she got to the washroom, she surprisingly bumped into Gu Shishi.

"You must be enjoying this, aren’t you?" Gu Shishi started, causing Xin Yan to pause in her tracks.

"What do you mean by that?" Xin Yan whipped her head to take a good look at her.

"Li Qiang made fun of me today, he embarrassed me, I am pretty sure you enjoyed every single moment," Gu Shishi sneered as she came to stand in front of Xin Yan.

She had to look up to Xin Yan, since Xin Yan was taller than she was. It gave the situation an awkward look since Gu Shishi was the one doing the confrontation.

Xin Yan looked at the lady speechlessly.

"I thought you had changed, to think that I wanted to say thank you for the help you rendered to my assistant, but it is useless," Xin Yan shook her head, completely disappointed by Gu Shishi’s actions.
