Thirty minutes had passed, and Zhang Linlin noticed that Zhang Luiying had not returned.

She frowned a bit, before she stopped searching for the clothes. She approached one of the attendants, who said she last saw her sister going to the washroom.

Zhang Linlin frowned. Her sister could not spend up to thirty minutes in a washroom, there must be something wrong.

Her heart skipped a bit when she recalled the discussion from yesterday.

"I have to call my brother-in-law," she muttered to herself as she hastily searched her pocket for her phone.

She dialed the number immediately, and it was picked up after a few rings.

"Good that you called, I have been trying to get through to Zhang Luiying, but it has been going straight to voicemail, is she with you?" One could hear the worry in Xin Yi’s voice.

Zhang Linlin took a deep breath in. She hated to be the harbinger of the news, but Xin Yi needed to know.

"Brother-in-law, I think my sister has been kidnapped, during our shopping, she felt pressed, and she decided to visit the washroom, but it has been thirty minutes, and she is not back yet, I am worried."

Towards the end, Zhang Linlin burst into tears, and the female attendant who was standing beside her felt the pain Linlin was going through.

"Where are you now?" Xin Yi was surprisingly calm. He was already expecting this, but he was not expecting them to take action this quickly.

But then, it was better this way. Zhang Luiying could be free from them now that they had exposed themselves.

Zhang Luiying gave the name of the mall to Xin Yi, and the exact location where she was.

"Thank you, now wipe your tears, and don’t continue crying, I will find Yingying, I will be there soon, do you trust me?" Xin Yi asked the little girl.

"Yes I do," she nodded furiously, while wiping her tears.

"Good that you trust me, I will be there soon," he said to her, and disconnected the call immediately.

Xin Yi breathed out, before leaving the office, not before leaving his assistant in charge.

Xin Yi soon arrived at the mall, and he asked for directions, before he finally made it to the shop which Zhang Linlin had mentioned.

Immediately he stepped into the shop, she noticed him immediately, and she approached him at once.

"Brother-in-law," she called out, gaining his attention immediately.

"Hey, how are you?" Xin Yi asked as he observed the girl whose eyes were swollen. It was clear that she had cried a lot.

"I am sorry brother-in-law, you kept my sister in my care, but now, she is missing because of me, I have tried to get the surveillance recording, but these people did not listen to me," Zhang Linlin explained, and apologized at the same time.

"You do not need to feel bad at all, it was bound to happen anyway, and the manager did not respond to you, why is that? I want to speak with the manager," Xin Yi was annoyed, obvious with the way his eyebrows were drawn together.

"The manager is in his office, I have a feeling the manager is working together with whoever took my sister, he did not want me to watch the recording, instead, he dismissed immediately saying my sister could have gone home, which is not right, as sister would have even called me if she had truly gone home."

Zhang Linlin complained immediately. She was finally able to speak up because Xin Yi was here with her.

"Leave it to me, I will handle it," Xin Yi smiled at her. There was nothing she could do regardless, she was a teenager, and the manager would not pay attention to her at all.

Zhang Linlin heaved a sigh of relief. She knew that she did not take the wrong decision by calling her brother-in-law. Her brother-in-law was mighty, and he could get everything done with just a snap of his fingers.

"Hi, I would like to speak with your manager," Xin Yi approached one of the female attendants who was stunned to see him.

"Are you Xin Yi? The Xin Yi who has won major racing competitions, it really is you in the flesh, I can finally die knowing that I have met my idol," the female attendant fangirled over him, forgetting that he had asked a question.

Her entire face was red, her chest heaving heavily, as she felt excited from having to meet her idol.

Xin Yi felt impatient with her noise, and so did Zhang Linlin who did not bother to hide the disgust she felt for the attendant.

"He asked a question, I guess it will be best to respond to him, or else, you might lose your job," since Zhang Linlin hated the attendant, she did not bother to mince her words, whilst still glaring at the lady.

The lady looked at Zhang Linlin, before she turned her attention to Xin Yi, who did not stop her. She was suspicious of the relationship between both of them, and her eyes failed to hide the questions she had.

Zhang Linlin shook her head at the stupidity the lady showcased, and she wondered how an unprofessional could be hired by such a famous shop.

The earlier scream from the female attendant had attracted everyone in the shop, as they were all familiar with Xin Yi, including the manager.

There were majorly females in the shop, and they all recognized Xin Yi. Soon enough, he was surrounded by the women who wanted to take pictures with him.

This single act annoyed Zhang Linlin who was already impatient.

"That is enough, my brother-in-law is not here to take pictures, my sister, his wife got missing in this shop, and I tried to speak with the manager, and tried to convince him to let me watch the surveillance recording, but he did not allow me, and you all are hindering my brother-in-law from finding his wife!"

Zhang Linlin yelled at the top of her voice. Her face was extremely red, as she breathed out heavily. This was the first time she had talked so loudly.
