Reborn As A Ghost: Time To Build My Undead Army!-Chapter 1856: Dismantling Olympus In Less Than An Hour
-----
"FATHER!"
Athena screamed, but Partner kicked her head with crushing force, shattering her skull and killing her instantly.
Apollo charged with all his sunlight divinity. Jonathan's blinding sword absorbed the power and split him apart with a single devastating swing.
Hermes, the fastest, rushed to aid his father. A glowing explosion of many colors halted him. Arthur met him with his spear, impaling the god as Hermes sped past.
The Heavenly Demon smiled. With one swing of his dragon claw, Hephaestus's fortress shattered and exploded. The god and all his creations perished instantly, consumed by bright crimson flames that reduced them to ashes.
Hera arrived with a furious expression, covered in wounds, desperate to save her husband. A giant white dragon—Lucifer—slashed her into pieces with a blazing scythe, ending her life right there.
As Zeus screamed in agony, his entire family was slaughtered before his eyes.
"Do you like how it feels, Zeus? To have everything you care for taken away from you?"
"Heh… hehehe…"
The mad god laughed.
"I don't care about them… none of them matters to me!"
"…?"
Maria noticed dozens of divinities flowing toward Zeus, fueling his power even further.
"AT LONG LAST! NOW THAT OLYMPUS IS DEAD…! I AM INVINCIBLE!"
His divinities stacked one after another, combining dozens—hundreds—into a single overwhelming force.
His body grew enormous, muscular, and majestic.
"I'VE FINALLY CHANNELED THE POWER OF THE TITANS THAT MY FATHER SEALED FROM ME! HEHEHE…! HAHAHAHA!"
Zeus laughed maniacally as he transformed into a gigantic titan over three hundred meters tall, overflowing with hundreds of merged divinities.
"An adorable last effort, Zeus."
Maria's voice remained cold despite everything. She glanced at him with a gentle smile.
"But didn't I tell you?"
Zeus furiously channeled his powers and attacked.
A glorious painting manifested, splitting apart all his divine assaults and arms.
"You're already dead."
"HM?!"
Zeus's vision suddenly dropped to the ground.
"Ah…"
He had been beheaded.
As he looked upward, his entire body exploded into hundreds of thousands of pieces.
"I-Impossible…! What… I was just… like any other day…"
It all happened in a single hour.
One hour!
That was all it took Maria, in a fit of rage, to destroy Olympus.
Zeus's tyranny ended that day.
Amid the screams and agonizing cries of thousands of gods, Olympus was crushed.
None of their gods were revived.
She planted a huge flag above the ruins of Zeus's temple.
Then she placed new buildings everywhere, connecting them to her Soul Realm.
The thousands of revived gods—except the main Olympians she held a grudge against—were forced to join her sect.
Her first decree as Zeus's replacement was simple and absolute.
"All forces deployed to every other world that is not Olympus, return to your world!"
Using the divine authority she had seized from Zeus, they were compelled to obey.
One by one, after half a day, they returned.
The ten worlds Olympus had conquered were freed in the blink of an eye.
With incredible efficiency and ruthless precision.
Maria smiled, seated on her golden throne.
Her family enjoyed a feast nearby. Even her mother was there, talking with everyone after getting to know them.
She was still processing what had just happened… but the good wine and food helped distract her and made it easier.
FLUOSH!
A ghostly aura emerged. A huge swirl of seawater surged from the seas below.
Two gods descended toward Maria, radiating power equal to Zeus—if not stronger.
"Hades and Poseidon, right?"
Maria already knew who they were.
"You were the one that killed Zeus, right?" Hades asked.
"Unbelievable…" Poseidon said. "An Outer God…"
"Outer God? Ah!" Hades's eyes widened.
"Yes, I am," Maria stopped hiding it. "Do you plan to fight me to avenge your brother?"
"What? Why would we do that?" Hades asked angrily, crossing his muscular arms and sighing. "His soul arrived right there… why didn't you destroy it instead? He's annoying. He cries all the time with his crocodile tears."
"Honestly, Zeus and his family were much larger. We never had the chance to fight back, so we secluded ourselves in our domains and lived quietly—even when we knew many innocents were being killed by his greed," Poseidon sighed.
"I see…" Maria nodded. "Then join me. Let's destroy the tower together."
The two gods didn't have much choice. After a small deal was made, they agreed.
Maria rushed to the Underworld with Hades through a ghostly portal.
There she saw the souls of Zeus and the Olympians.
All his children and wife were beating him relentlessly.
"I'm sorryyyy! Aieeee!"
"You're a pathetic piece of shit!" Hera shouted angrily.
"You took my divinity!" Ares said.
"So you only cared about us dying?!" Hermes asked.
"I can't believe I ever called you father!" Apollo said.
Maria nodded at the scene and ignored them, walking deeper into the Underworld of Olympus.
It was smaller than Yggdrasil and less dense in divine and nether energies.
But it held a secret.
Dozens of powerful sealed beasts and titans.
"Are you sure you can tame them?" Hades asked. "Chronos and the titans won't easily kneel to you—even if you're an Outer God!"
"It's fine. Open the gate, Hades," Maria smiled, watching the titans emerge as the seals broke.
"What is this?!"
"Hades! You freed us?!"
"Has Zeus finally died?"
"I can no longer feel his wicked presence in the world of the living!"
"Heheh…"
Among the gigantic titans that strode forth—all enormous, mighty, and overflowing with ancient divinities stronger than the Olympians—stood the tallest, with a long white beard and glowing blue eyes.
"Chronos, right?"
"You… killed my son, huh? Not bad."
"I plan to destroy the tower. Join me with your titans. I promise you a piece of the world in exchange."
"A piece?"
Chronos snorted. The other titans laughed.
Their immense divinities wrapped around Maria, trying to pressure her with raw might.
"And why would we settle for a piece when we can seize it all?!"
Chronos lowered his head and whispered to her.
Maria responded with a gentle smile.
Ten swords appeared instantly.
They pierced Chronos's entire body in a single moment.
"W-Wha…?!"
He vomited blood and fell to his knees.
His divine pathways were all severed, blocking his ability to manipulate power.
His divine core shattered too.
"W-When? What…! How…?!"
His eyes widened as he saw Maria's attacks.
They had been instantaneous.
In a second, a tomb of swords had covered his body!
Maria walked forward and patted his nose.
"Chronos… either you yield and serve me, or you die. Forever. I can destroy your soul."
"…You wouldn't dare—AAAAGGHH!"
Chronos screamed as his soul was gripped tightly.
Cracks spread across it.
"I agree! I agree with this proposal! Stop! Stop it, oh great Outer Goddess!"
Chronos planted his forehead on the ground and begged for mercy.
Maria nodded.
Contracts were made.
Instead of forcing them completely, she tried to be more polite—but sometimes she still had to push a little harder.
The same was done with many beasts of ancient myth—Typhon, Echidna, Hecatoncheires.
Ultimately, Olympus not only relinquished dominion over other worlds but allied under Maria's flag.
Once finished, Maria returned to her family.
She joined them in their meal and watched her mother smile happily.
