The next day, Maria returned to Earth, deciding to take care of Thebes.

For that, she moved to Egypt, where they had placed their many pyramids.

To make things nicer for her mother, they traveled by plane and made it feel almost like a vacation.

Jessica enjoyed the trip, visiting various cities with her daughters. Slowly, she began healing from her pain and depression while getting to know Maria's family better.

After three days of touring, enjoying local food, buying new clothes, and doing many other things, night finally arrived.

The daughters moved to the vast deserts of Egypt, near the Nile. There stood six giant golden pyramids.

Through their journey, they had caught and "befriended" a few dozen members of their guilds, gaining quite a lot of information.

Apparently, the enemy was about to launch an attack on Maria's house—completely unaware that the family was gone.

They had spies in place, but Maria had left an illusory domain behind. It made everything appear normal: she and her family always inside, eating, chatting, interacting.

In reality, they were just skeletons pretending to be them—relaxing, watching TV, and eating snacks.

"Here we are," Laura said.

"Yep, this is the place," Maria gazed upon the six golden pyramids.

"So do we break through?" Lucifer asked.

"I wanna smash it all!" Nyx giggled. "Mama can repair it anyway, right?"

"Haha, yes I can, but you have to learn to contain your instincts," Maria said. "Don't be too destructive, alright?"

"Don't worry, Nyx. I will smash twice as much for you," Arachne smiled.

"Oh, really?!" Nyx looked joyful.

"I feel a strong divine aura—the sun…?" Arthur wondered. "But because it's night, this power is greatly weakened."

"Yeah, we decided to come later because of that," Partner said. "It's better for us vampire folks."

"Us? You're the only one here," Emeraldine giggled. "Whatever the case, there's a powerful Domain."

"Yeah, let's just barge inside, shall we?" Maria and her family nodded.

She swung her hand downward. Using it as a potent cosmic blade of ghostly, nightmare, and dream starlight, Maria sliced through the barrier so cleanly and precisely that it went almost undetected.

A stealthy hole opened, allowing them all to infiltrate the giant Domain that encompassed the six pyramids and twisted space and reality.

Inside, instead of arid desert, they were greeted by a large, robust, lush jungle.

The sky remained dark—it was still night—yet the place somehow recreated an eternal sun.

The area teemed with divinity.

"So this is the Divine Domain of Ra—a great jungle full of life," Maria said. "I imagined it would be a volcanic landscape."

"He created something suitable for his people," Anubis explained, appearing behind her as a small jackal-like spirit. "That bastard Ra has always been all about showing off."

"It's nice to show off," Maria smiled. "I like it. Not bad. I'll make him into a nice ghost like lil' Sobek."

"Eugh…" Sobek groaned beside her, also appearing as a small crocodile spirit.

But they weren't alone.

Leviathan, Satan, Beelzebub, and Lilith also manifested as demonic spirits above her.

"Huh, so we can rampage all we want, master?" Leviathan asked.

"Yes, destroy everything," Maria said.

"We can eat everything too?" Beelzebub asked.

"Of course," Maria nodded.

"Can I find some suitable men for me?" Lilith asked.

"Lilith, we already talked—no kidnapping handsome men and don't force them to love you," Maria said firmly. "Use your powers to help us destroy the place."

"…Fine," Lilith pouted.

As they stopped in front of the first pyramid, Maria's aura rose.

All her powerful "spirits" manifested their ghostly, demonic, and holy presences.

At the same time, mechanical parts appeared, serving as vessels.

Not just for Anubis and Sobek…

Leviathan, Satan, Beelzebub, and Lilith also gained their machine vessels.

Since they could not fully manifest outside of Hell even after becoming Maria's undead—she could only summon them as ghostly spirits—she had come up with this solution.

By modifying the divine cores of these "god vessels," she turned them into "archdemon vessels"!

CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!

A loud commotion echoed through the entire divine domain. Alarms rang everywhere as a giant mechanical sea serpent over three hundred meters long roared and coiled around a pyramid.

A seductive mechanical demoness giggled. Using sharp claws and wings, she tore open another pyramid and spread pink light inside, driving everyone briefly insane.

A monstrous fly-like machine blitzed through the skies, devoured an incoming machine, and began consuming a pyramid.

A giant red warrior-like machine roared. With six muscular arms, he smashed another pyramid into smithereens.

Chaos erupted. The entire domain stood in danger!

The people of Thebes surged forward in droves, bringing hundreds of machines to fight back. Explosive beams of sunlight bombarded Maria's army.

But then…

"Go!"

Anubis and Sobek rose. Using their giant divine bodies, they crushed and destroyed everything in their path.

The tyrannical Thebians—who had been extracting souls from people inside the pyramids to power their machines—screamed in disbelief at the sight of two of their own gods turning against them.

Inside the largest pyramid—protected by various forcefields that the two gods were already beginning to destroy—a female magician ran desperately toward a woman seated on a throne.

"Mother! An army of machines and powerful people appeared out of nowhere! They're destroying everything! The Soul Extraction Altars are being destroyed, and thousands of souls are being released!"

"I know, you foolish girl! Damn it! How is this even happening?! Lord Ra, please help us!"

As she pleaded, a blazing bird emerged from its altar and rose high into the pyramid, enveloping it with divine flames.

"So be it! I might not be here completely, but I don't even need a tenth of my power to trample over you two weaklings! Traitors of our race! Anubis! Sobek!"

The almighty God of the Sun, Ra, manifested through the largest pyramid. The giant monument transformed into a massive robot shaped in his image—over five hundred meters tall.

Titanic!

"R-Ra!"

"Damn it!"

Anubis and Sobek attacked Ra with all their Divinities and Machine Power, but Ra simply swung his blazing wings forward. A shockwave of flames sent both flying!

BOOOM!

"Hmph! You should learn your place instead of daring to take over my territory, you two weaklings!"

As Ra laughed, the other four archdemon machines attacked from left, right, behind, and above.

Leviathan wrapped around his body, unleashing demonic flames.

Beelzebub covered him with demon curses.

Lilith contaminated his mind with her own powers.

And Satan pummeled him into the ground with blazing punches and potent kicks.

"KWAAAK! W-WHAT…! YOU'RE NOT EGYPTIAN GODS!"

Ra roared in fury as he was thrown down, beginning to fight all four archdemons alone.

This was only a tenth of his power, but Maria could tell he was tremendously strong!

If this was only a tenth, he might be slightly stronger than Zeus.

When comparing strength, Zeus was perhaps L+, while his children were either SSS+ or L Rank.

Meanwhile, Ra felt like something beyond L+, most likely L++.
