"Is everything alright, dear?" Nana asked.

Jin realized the attention on him and cleared his throat. "Everything’s fine, Mom. I’m sorry...I just thought I had met him before."

"Who knows if you have?" The Feng Shui master sneakily smiled. "I’m everywhere~"

Jin only squinted his eyes at him. He then whispered to Nana.

"Mom, where is our usual master we consult with?"

On the other side, Alix was carefully watching the exchange between them. Jin’s sudden reaction had caught her by surprise but she had a feeling she understood it but couldn’t pinpoint why.

Why do I feel like I have met this person before? That annoying smile seems very familiar...

’You two husband and wife are really two peas in a pod, huh?

Her eyes widened and she darted her gaze left and right.

Her gaze settled at the fortune teller in a red robe.

’Yes, I’m talking to you. Really, you couple should respect me a little more. I played a very important role in your fates, you know? And this is what I get. Humiliating my charming smile,’ he sighed.

Alix continued staring at him unblinkingly. The conversation was only going on in their minds.

’Ooohh seems you recognized me~’

Ren Cuifen gently patted her hand. "You look in a daze, dear. Is everything okay?"

She stirred and slightly coughed. "Yes, it’s fine."

The Feng Shui master clapped once. "Perfect. How about we start?"

Liu Chunhua said, "Master, we have Jin and Alix’s birth dates and times with us."

"Oh I know all that," he waved his hand in dismissal as he took his seat.

What do I not know in this world? He snorted.

"You do?" She looked surprised.

His brow twitched. "...I meant I have Liu Jin’s details since you had shared them with my Master before. Yes, I would need the bride’s details."

"Oh that makes sense," she nodded.

He adjusted his glasses and studied both birth charts, though he didn’t have to because he already knew how every star and every planet was aligned at the time of their birth.

He dropped another longer ’Hm’ this time, creating an air of suspense that Jin didn’t appreciate.

"Is something the matter?" Nana asked.

"I see a dark spot in their match," he continued to rub his chin as if he discovered some grim news.

"Oh no, what dark spot?" Ren Cuifen worriedly asked.

"It’s a dark spot right in the marriage area. Both have come along such a long way now, haven’t you?" He smiled.

Ai asked, "Is the dark spot significant?"

"Hmmm, I could sense a slight delay in their wedding."

Jin’s expression dropped, though Alix continued to watch him silently.

"Oh no, how long of a delay are we talking about here?" Everybody was now anxiously way too focused on the range of delay.

"Hmmm, let’s see..." the Feng Shui master narrowed his eyes as he brought the birth papers closer.

Everybody slightly leaned forward to hear the result.

"Oh, what’s this?" He suddenly took out his glasses and held it above his head.

"Ooops my bad~ It was a dark spot on my glasses~ Ah, I forgot to clean them in a hurry," he sighed.

Everybody - "..."

That roller coaster ride was for nothing?

Jin’s brow twitched violently and his irregular breathing was very close to giving him a heart attack.

I will kill him!

’Yeah good luck trying to kill a God,’ Jin heard a scoff in his head, making his gaze darken.

Nobody knew how to respond to his cheerfulness.

Liu Chunhua coughed. "So this means there is no delay with the wedding dates?"

"Oh I do see an impediment," he gravely nodded.

She gasped. "What impediment?"

"The couple here has a severe deficiency of God’s blessings. They are not very sincere in their feelings towards God and so the Gods are dissatisfied with them."

Jin and Alix - "..."

"One God in particular doesn’t feel their love and respect and awe they should be holding towards Him. It’s very humiliating."

Leina asked, "You can read all that just with the birth details?"

"My master is very talented. What can I say~"

"I mean it’s not like Alix doesn’t believe in Gods..." Ren Cuifen looked confused. "I’m sure she doesn’t feel any disrespect towards any God, right dear?"

"No, Mom. I have never been disrespectful towards any higher entity," she kept her outward smile intact.

Alix heard that annoying voice in her head again.

Nana nodded. "Jin here is the same."

Though his trembling fist was saying another story.

Ren Luoyang asked, "But if this obstruction is causing some problems, then what should we do?"

"For starters, donating a ’respectful’ sum of money to the temples?"

Angry and trembling peals of chuckles escaped Jin’s lips with veins popping on his temples.

Nana asked, "If they do as you say, then there would be no problems with the auspicious day?"

He smiled. "Absolutely not. The auspicious day can be as soon as next week once the Gods are pleased."

She sighed in relief. "That’s wonderful."

"Just don’t forget more of the parfaits and puddings, okay~?"
