Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 543: Jin Made It Fair
The stormy clouds trembled as more and more creatures shot down from the sky.
Among the numerous creatures were the Destruction Dragons.
As soon as they crossed the barrier between the stormy foggy clouds and the main world, they spread their wings and flapped.
Powerful gusts of wind blew harshly, disrupting the natural flow of wind in the area.
The dragon officials, who actually numbered more than a hundred thousand, didn’t bother to descend to the ground. Each of them was born with wings and a natural ability to fly, why should they lower themselves to the standard of these land dwellers?
As the dragons began to talk amongst themselves and think of a formation or a plan, one figure amongst them remained still.
Clad in an all black suit from boots to his neck, Ibadon, in his near-perfect humanoid form, floated in the sky with a concealed aura.
His hands were folded and his legs were put together while he allowed the wind to blow his cape whichever way it wanted.
His silky black hair was blown to the side, revealing his fair-skinned face as well as his faded red eyes.
His pupils dilated, scanning his vicinity. No one knew how much power was concealed within him at this moment, and if anyone knew he was here, it could spoil his plan and cause everyone to run away.
With his recent activity of destroying a whole galaxy at once, anyone who wasn’t a dragon wanted to be billions of light-years away from him.
Even Kael would abandon the gauntlet and run away if he found out Ibadon actually came here personally for the specific purpose of catching him.
Ibadon was not yet completely sure that Kael was here but he would like to believe that Kael would not let go of the treasure of his predecessor.
He highly suspected that Kael had been in one of those escape pods earlier.
Ibadon also wanted to find out something else.
Who was the person scheming against the dragon race?
It was now certain knowledge that someone was intentionally pushing the conflict between the Creation Dragons and the Destruction Dragons.
On multiple occasions, there had been opportunities to call for a ceasefire, but that didn’t happen. It was as if there was someone who wanted the dragons to be kept busy.
Ibadon hoped to uncover this mystery as fast as possible because the Dragons were his key to truly wiping out the lion race.
Only then would he be able to rest and die peacefully.
"Regent Ibadon," Imperial Guard Voldemort called to Ibadon.
He had followed Ibadon here to serve as the visible leader of the dragons while Ibadon operated in secret.
The green dragon flapped his wings and circled around the caped man.
"Jin must have been something," Ibadon said, bringing his hand away from its folded position to his face.
He clenched his glove hand and held it firm for a couple of seconds.
"I’m concealing my true strength, but this world is already trying to suppress me..." Ibadon was visibly shocked.
This was the first time Voldemort had seen such a seriously shocked expression on Ibadon’s face.
"How so, Regent?" Voldemort asked.
Ibadon looked up to stare at the large green dragon, "You don’t feel it because you’re at tier 7, your power level is acceptable here.
But mine is not.
It makes sense, an immortal competing for the gauntlet, even if it were a lion, would be completely unfair to the others.
Jin leveled the playing field somehow.
My power level is being suppressed. The only thing strong enough to do such a thing would be a god level power.
Or perhaps, a god level artifact
I see now, hahaha, hahahaha!"
Ibadon burst into a fit of laughter, finding it extremely funny but also exciting.
Voldemort held an awkward smile. What Ibadon was describing was supposed to be a bad thing, but why was he laughing?
"Regent?" Voldemort called.
Ibadon stopped laughing but wore a pleasant smile, "Even in death, Jin threatens my life.
It must have been true what the rumors said, even immortals feared him.
Oh well, I’ll have to manage with the power I’m given.
Hmm..." Ibadon then had a feeling of his current power level.
He was still strong, far stronger than any tier 7 entity, but he was just a tad weaker than the weakest immortal.
Basically, Ibadon’s strength had been reduced to a point that he wouldn’t be able to instantly destroy the planet if he went all out.
This current power level was still more than enough for what he wanted to do. And if he wanted to go all out, he could just fly out of the planet and unleash his full power.
He refused to believe the suppression would work outside the planet when he crushed the whole galaxy together with the planet into a small single point break mass.
"We shall carry on, I may even take an interest in acquiring this Gauntlet myself. He was the one who came before my mother..."
Ibadon waved his hand and instantly all the dragons turned to him.
"Split up into a group with each unit consisting of one thousand dragons each.
If you encounter the gauntlet of the Primordial Lion, use the nesting call to call everyone.
Is that understood?"
"YES, REGENT!" They all answered in unison.
"Spread!" Voldemort commanded. Instantly, the dragons all found their group units and flew away.
Ibadon blended in with one group unit and Voldemort led another.
The land was constantly shifting at random time intervals so it was difficult to say which way which person was going. Tracking anyone through a footprint was a waste of effort.
Coincidentally, a few more tier entities decided to drop down onto the planet at this moment from different parts of the storm.
On one part, a bunch of tier 7 lions crashed majestically into the ground and immediately began heading in one direction.
On the other side of the planet, two Primordials entered the play.
Unexpectedly.
And Kael’s group just happened to be heading in that direction.
...
*NEIGH!*
The horses cried majestically, and they stomped their strong hooves on the ground while marching forward.
Leading them was a demonic horse.
Black with pulsing red veins in its hairless body. The eyes of the demonic horse were steeled to face forward while keeping an eye on the other governors around him.
He was the head governor horse of this legion of horses, directly appointed by His Excellency, President Musty.
They came in a group of over five thousand Horse Governors. They had many more numbers but their primary goal coming here wasn’t to fight anyone, but to gather information.
They had no reason to go after the gauntlet other than to sabotage the lions which was a possibility if they ever hit the chance.
Right now, all they had to do was take note of President Musty’s competition.
As for confrontation, although the governors had been warned to avoid it if necessary, it was a loose warning.
If the President were serious, he wouldn’t have sent a Demonic Horse as the leader of these governors.
Demonic Horses or Demonic entities in general are just the worst when it comes to following stand-by orders.
"Bring him to the front!" The Demonic Horse yelled to the back where some governors were discussing something.
Soon, they led another entity to the front to stand beside the demonic horse. This entity was not a horse, but a rhinoceros.
The Rhino was also not ordinary. It stood nearly four meters tall on all fours and was moving like a mobile hill.
Its thick skin was a deep glossy and charred black, and its limbs were like thick abyssal pillars.
The horn of the rhino glowed a faint white which contrasted heavily with its black body.
When the rhino walked to the front with heavy steps and stopped beside the Demonic Horse, there were visible changes.
The bloody red mane that streamed down the neck of the demonic horse suddenly flew to his right side, the same direction the rhino was standing.
"Stop that," The demonic horse snarled, a reddish energy circulating on his hooves.
The rhino grunted but complied, "I take orders only from the President," The rhino said in a deep voice.
This rhino was the Primordial Rhino affiliated with the Law of Gravity. He was also the leader of the rhino vassals under the Horse Federation Civilization.
"Well, President Musty is not here, is he? You have to listen to me..." The demonic horse tried to defend his ego and he raised his voice so that his fellow governors could hear him.
"Or else what?" The rhino asked daringly, also bringing his large head closer to the demonic horse.
"You want to see who President Musty values most?" The rhino asked.
The demonic horse didn’t need to answer, he knew what the rhino was implying.
"You’re only here to help us deal with any other Primordials we may encounter, don’t let it get to your head Rhino," The demonic horse scoffed and walked away.
The rhino smirked, a deep growl settling at the base of his throat as he controlled his temper.
"President Musty also said I may kill if necessary, he didn’t specify who though..." The rhino’s voice trailed off as he walked away.
But the demonic horse got the message.
