Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 698: Clumsy Giant
How many Primordials have been found in the five years prior to the First Annihilation?
There were more than a few.
Before that time, Kale only had about nine to ten Primordials under his command in his League of Primordials.
The number was very small, and it was small compared to Kael’s grand plan.
There were a total of three thousand laws in the universe that constituted the known and unknown reality of things in the universe.
There were just too many laws and each law could have tens to thousands of creatures subscribed to it.
Some races even had affiliation with more than one law, an example was the dragons.
Kael’s goal was to find a single Primordial for each law, making that a total of three thousand Primordials.
To achieve that, the known universe would have to be searched thoroughly.
This was because not all Laws were the same, and that was also the case for the Primordials.
Some laws were more prevalent in certain environments.
For example, the Primordial Bat of Night had been found before the First Annihilation.
Not only was this particular Primordial extremely hard to find, but it was also extremely strong.
The lionesses had journeyed to the darkest part of the known universe since that was the location of the biggest bat civilization currently known.
Finding the Primordial Bat was hard but it wasn’t impossible because it was already very strong.
The Primordial Bat was already at the tier 7 power level when she was found and beat the living shit out of the lionesses that tried to ambush her.
The battle had lasted for weeks before Kael decided to interfere and journey to the mortalverse by himself to retrieve her.
When Kael arrived, he had managed to knock out the Primordial Bat with a single slap...
But it was hard though... for the lionesses.
The Primordial Bat was so difficult and that was just one.
One could imagine the stress that would come from actively finding the remaining three thousand or so.
And Kael had said that they couldn’t find primordials of the same laws. Only Primordials from Laws that had not yet been found.
Thankfully, the last five years were very fruitful, they had not searched in vain.
Although most of these Primordials had been found by Kael consorts through less preferable means, it didn’t change the fact that they had been found.
Along with the Primordial Bat of Night, other Primordials like the Primordial Flamingo of Colour, Primordial Armadillo of Armour, Primordial Parrot of Sound, Primordial Mantis of Assassination, Primordial Eagle of Vision, Primordial Pig of Gluttony, Primordial Shark of Oceans, Primordial Crocodile of Slaughter, Primordial Hippopotamus of Rivers, Primordial Rabbit of Fertility, Primordial Hedgehog of Trade, Primordial Porcupine of Banking, Primordial Magpie of Theft, Primordial Jay of Songs....
There was also a Primordial Crab of Money which surprised Kael a bit when he found out.
After five years of searching, the number of Primordials Kael had in total was fifty-five if he counted the two that had just been reported to be found.
What also helped was that some of these Primordials were actually not far from each other at all.
Some of them naturally existed in harmony with other Primordials because of their nature.
For example, the Primordial Shark and the Primordial Crocodile had been on different planets but their star systems were literally close to each other.
They were found in a galaxy with most of its planets existing as ocean or predominantly water planets.
With these Primordials, Kael’s strength kept on expanding in depth and weight.
Kael’s power was now so indescribable that even he didn’t know the full extent of what he could do.
After gaining the twentieth Primordial which was the Primordial Archerfish of Projectiles, his aura had changed massively.
Kael could no longer stand anywhere without subtly affecting reality with his presence.
He could simply stand still and something strange would just happen randomly to him or his surroundings.
Either, the rocks below would suddenly be launched into the air, or a passerby would feel an indescribable connection to him, or something would light up on fire, or the weather would change according to his mood.
At first, it was very amusing to see reality bend and twist to the slightest change from his body, but after some time, it got really annoying.
Kael soon lost the appreciation of unknowingly influencing his environment.
This was the Clumsy Giant Theory that was taught to many kings and cubs alike as they got stronger.
The theory was that an individual could amass so much power and become so strong that he inadvertently affected everything around him by just existing, not because he or she wanted to.
This was an interesting theory as it allowed one to think of and predict what kind of unwanted influence they could have in the world.
Like a clumsy giant who brought down buildings and reshaped the landscape without it being his intention. He moved, something changed, he slept, something still changed.
Kael was this clumsy giant. Many changes occurred around him without his will and it got a little annoying.
Hence, Kael had learned to completely suppress his aura and power as much as he could in the last two years.
It wasn’t perfect yet. Most could still tell that they were looking at an incredibly extraordinary entity whenever they were close to Kael.
Kael had even tested this practice by going back to Planet Kareem and walking amongst the humans.
The humans were able to sense that there was something different about Kael, his golden eyes did not help. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
But at least, Kael no longer influenced the environment he was in unless he wanted to.
Alas, this method was not perfect. Kael had to maintain a calm mind and a stable sense of internal rhythm.
All his emotions had already been replaced by Intent so this was not too much of an issue, but it didn’t mean Kael could not be provoked.
Anything that passively or actively resisted Kael’s Conquering Intent could cause him extreme levels of irritation.
This irritation could cause Kael to let go of his hold on his powers and release all his aura once again.
Thankfully, something like this was yet to happen and Kael was sure to keep his mental space as calm as possible.
Another thing that could cause the eruption of Kael’s power was an injury.
Back when he was watching Elizabeth get beaten up, Kael had used his hand to block a direct dragon break beam.
That beam had been a mix of reversed Conquering Essence and Destruction Essence, so it was very fatal.
However, for some reason, the reversed Conquering Essence did not do anything to Kael.
But the Destruction Essence, as pure as it was coming straight from Elizabeth, injured Kael.
His arm and palm had been ripped open and it definitely hurt a lot.
That injury had also allowed a bit of Kael’s true power to be exposed for a brief moment.
The injury healed and Kael acted as if nothing happened.
The release of that power gave Kael many questions about himself that he was starting to find the answers to.
Firstly, Kael was sure that he was no longer an ordinary Primordial. He was doing something that was not supposed to be done.
That was why he had gained another form.
Kael still had his humanoid form and his true golden lion form.
But he had a third form that he had shown when he confronted Emperor Zain.
A form that was akin to an Eldritch abomination.
Emperor Zain said it best. If Ibadon was an abomination, what was he supposed to call Kael?
As for the reason why the reversed Conquering Essence did not harm him. Kael knew why now.
He had reached a bottleneck in the embodiment of the law of Conquering.
Kael estimated that he had embodied at least sixty-five percent of the Law of Conquering and was being held back by President Musty.
Another reason to kill the horse.
President Musty had also been attempting to embody the law and had made some progress. Unfortunately for him, Kael was faster and actualised his intent with the help of the war.
The act of conquering the Primordials on their own helped Kael inch closer to full embodiment.
But the issue was that he could never achieve full embodiment as there was another Primordial of Conquering alive.
It was either that President Musty gave up and relinquished his power, something which was very unlikely to happen now, or he was killed off.
Kael was still waiting for the inevitable to happen.
Sitting on the balcony, he smiled. President Musty will fall into his hands and will die, that was a certainty.
The mind of the All-King, influenced by multiple laws, thought further and more complex than what anyone could imagine.
The different possibilities and eventualities of the universe were laid bare in his mind.
For now, Kael welcomed the party of Primordials to his continent.
Desolate Divine, Bee Liberation, Creator-King Alliance, the House of Luthor, Oblivion, and many more.
What next?
