Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 769: George Gets Smarter
Time is so strange that it couldnβt be grasped by the regular mind the more one tried. ππΏπ²ππ°πππ§πππ²π₯.πππ
Those were Kaelβs thoughts as he sat quietly at the shore of the lake, cross-legged.
His mind was calm as he discussed Memphis through the chat features with Ozia and three other time lions.
NβbayΓ© and many magus lions had also joined, as had a few other lions interested in broadening their horizons to learn more about the universe they wanted to rule over.
Time Lionheart was so rare that this was the only one they could find to join this yearly discussion session.
As it had come to pass, Kael had allowed for the establishment of yearly joint discussion forums, where lions in the lion system joined the forum platform to discuss specific topics.
They cut talk about slavery and how to make it efficient, they cut talk about war strategies the next year, they could discuss invasion tactics, they could also talk about extinction-level events.
Anything could be talked about in detail as long as the topic was settled on. No one was allowed to deviate from the core matter of the discussion at hand unless it served to explain the core topic.
During this particular annual discussion, they were all talking about Time. The topic was interesting enough that a few immortals and even Phestus had logged on to listen and contribute their own ideas.
As Kael engaged them in discussion, his outlook on time was broadened.
Time itself was an emergent property. Due to physics or quantum physics, one would think that time was an emergent property of gravity.
Gravity in turn was also an emergent property of mass, and mass in turn was an emergent property of matter, and the emergence just kept on going down to the quantum level.
They discussed everything from science to magic and how both interacted with time.
Just as they had explained and concluded, time was an emergent property of a few other things happening in the universe. But time itself was also a cause.
Experience was an emergent property of Time. And many things like joy, evolution, pain, life, death, age, entropy, structure, satisfaction, and even immortality, were emergent properties of experience.
Everything seemed to be linked in some way or form.
One Magus suggested that the mortals of the universe do not understand what time is as they are not truly existing along with time.
They are merely experiencing it along with many other things around them.
Many did not agree to this for obvious reasons. The likes of Xu Ying who had survived Oblivion Day and Gabby from the recovering Cosmic Research Coalition would argue that they were indeed experiencing time.
They would even argue that time itself was not constant everywhere. Different gravitational forces can affect the flow of time.
An example was how time would slow down the closer one got to a black hole or how photons literally do not experience the flow of time.
Many of these were true, the rest were just theories starting to form which could possibly lead to new things in the future.
Did it matter?
Perhaps not.
But those with a lionβs heart needed these types of discussions to further their comprehension.
Kael and his Primordial Subordinates who were engaging the platform from private sections needed this discussion so that they could better comprehend their laws and achieve Singularity faster.
It was also necessary for Kaelβs little minions of monkeys to learn from.

In the Mortalverse, inside the spatial storm, in one of the chamber worlds of the arkship fitted for the monkeyβs temporary habituation.
NβbayΓ© hovered in the sky above a strange city.
NβbayΓ© had her two hands behind her and her bald head facing the sky as she looked at the massive golden screen that had been displayed ahead.
This golden screen floated above the city, for the inhabitants to watch as they were interested. To NβbayΓ©βs satisfaction, quite a number of them were.
Down below, the city that was there was unlike any other. It was a mixture of tall towers, bridges, and swinging ropes.
It was almost as if the inhabitants of this city didnβt consider walking on the ground as a normal activity.
Monkeys with different shades and different colours swung around on the vines while giving out cries and calls.
Some little vehicle pods would sometimes fly out from the corner of one of her towers.
"What are they even saying? That one is very wrong," Said one monkey as she stood on the roof and looked at the golden screen while eating a mango-like fruit.
"Those are the kings, they are never wrong," said another monkey next to her.
"The kings can be wrong, and they should be corrected when they need to be corrected.
Thatβs our duty as the sages," Said the female monkey.
Discussions like this were said in hushed tones so as not to get into the ears of NβbayΓ©.
But this was pointless as she already knew of them.
"You act as if you guys have a better idea of what they are saying," Said a certain black furred monkey hanging from the edge of the tower too with his long arms.
This black-furred monkey had sagely blue eyes and looked quite young too. He was only two years old chronologically but sufficient nutrients had boosted his growth a little, giving him an age equivalent to an early teenager.
One of his long arms held him diagonally as his fingers grasped the thin edge of the roof while the other hand crashed his butt.
He seemed bored, not interested in the golden screen above the city like everyone else was.
"What, you got something to say?" One of the male monkeys immediately flared up in outrage.
One thing he hated about this black-furred monkey who was also their Primordial was that he tended to look down on the intelligence of everyone.
He did this so often that it was now known that the moment George opened his mouth, he was going to talk down to someoneβs intelligence
George couldnβt help it, everyday, it felt like those around him were becoming more stupid.
That was the case though, he was just getting smarter at a fast rate and ordinary monkeys could not keep up.
Only unique creatures like NβbayΓ© and that mysterious All-King who talked with him once in a while could understand him.
