Master Rori gets a gist about the current ducal family. As he initially expected, it's a power struggle all over again.

Sigh-

'How many times has this happened?' he murmurs to himself.

Master Rori admitted that he was tired of handling such common requests, but what choice did he have? Whether he liked it or not, the reward for this particular task was huge.

As a head of the Outcasts, he realized hatred and desire for revenge alone is not enough. Money is essential to keep the organization running. Moreover, this type of request provided a good training environment for his subordinate.

"I think I get the idea. You want to pit those two together, right?" Master Rori asked.

The butler nodded in response, "Yes, I suppose this task should be easy for you."

Master Rori's lips quirked into a faint smile but his expression quickly sobered. "Dealing with this Adam is easy but wanting to use him to sow suspicion... Not so much. Timing is everything. We have to ensure Johann's suspicion was pointed in the right direction."

The butler agrees with Master Rori's words even though he has no idea how to accomplish that.

"We need a schedule of Sarika visiting this Adam kid. Do you have this information?"

"This..." The butler has no idea about it. The mysterious letter never mentions anything about the frequency of Sarika's visit.

"You don't have it?"

The butler could only offer a helpless shake of his head, "I'm afraid not."

"Hmm..." Master Rori rubbed his chin. "Then, this job can't be completed in a short amount of time. Without this information, you can't achieve the effect you wished for."

Master Rori made the circumstances sound so unfortunate.

The butler understood the seriousness of the situation. His master couldn't afford any mistakes, not when the stakes were so high. He promptly asked, "What do you suggest?"

"We had to stay at Klover estate for a while to observe the situation and plan the timing of the attack."

"That sounds reasonable."

Seeing the butler agree with his request, Master Rori broached on another topic. "So, about the payment..."

"We'll pay," the butler replied without hesitation. "Money is not a problem."

"Great!" said Master Rori.

"So, when are you planning to depart?" asked the butler.

In his mind, the sooner the better. While Sarika is currently at the estate, they should take this advantage to ensure their plan unfolds accordingly.

The response the butler received, however, caught him off guard. "Oh, not me, but him," Master Rori pointed at the guide. '"Jin, you take this job."

Jin blinked in surprise. "What?!"

"You're not the one who will do this job, Master Rori?" the butler who was equally surprised asked.

Master Rori feels offended, "Why should I be the one who did it? Jin can handle such an easy mission on his own. I guarantee you of his skills."

"If you say so," The butler reluctantly accepts it. It is indeed a bit far-fetched to ask the boss of the Outcasts to do a relatively menial mission like this.

"Now if you had nothing else, consider we have reached an agreement with each other. Don't forget the payment or you and your master will be our next target." Master Rori chased the butler away with a warning.

The butler's heart skipped a beat. He quickly reassured Master Rori. A connection with the boss of Outcasts is far more valuable than a few thousand gold coins.

....

The butler and Jin quickly departed from the Outcasts' hideout to the Klover estate.

As of now, the two of them are standing near the estate's entrance.

There's a small problem that prevents them from entering the estate.

When the butler leaves the estate, he is alone. Returning with an additional person is bound to draw some attention.

The butler turned to Jin, "Can you sneak inside on your own?"

Jin rolled his eyes, "Are you joking? I can slip into the city just fine. Do you think I would had a hard time infiltrating this place?"

He sounded very displeased and felt like this butler was underestimating him.

"Okay, I'll enter first then. Make sure you avoid the guards and head straight to Master Demin's mansion. Just follow the map I have drawn. We will prepare food and accommodation while you're here."

"I know, I know, how hard can it be," Jin muttered dismissively.

Having said that, the butler approached the gate first. After exchanging some words with the guards, he glanced in the direction where Jin was, only to find out the person he had hired disappeared.

Feeling helpless, the butler simply passes through the gate.

'Hopefully, everything goes well.'

Meanwhile, Jin was not in a hurry to enter the estate. He can do it anytime he wants.

Since he was here, why not go around and take a look at the city? It would be a shame if he didn't take a chance to explore this big city.

And so a short tour of Klover City begins.

Thud-

Before he could go anywhere, this newly arrived Outcasts member accidentally bumped into someone.

Caught off guard, Jin's reflexes kicked in and he began to stabilize himself from falling. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Unfortunately, the person he had bumped into was an old man who now was on the ground.

"Oh! I'm so sorry. I should have been more careful." said Jin to an old man.

Jin can feel a lot of eyes on him. All this attention makes him very uncomfortable. For a long time, he has been indoctrinated to not stand out.

He needs to remedy the situation fast. And so, he quickly bent down to offer a hand.

The old man took the offer while saying, "It's quite all right, young man. Accidents happen."

Since both sides were reasonable, the matter was quickly resolved. The old man continued on his way.

Jin let out his thoughts as he watched the elder disappear into the distance. "I didn't sense him at all."
