Another week passed, and Dunn found himself once again standing before Johann.

This time, he didn't come empty-handed nor act like a petty robber. He brought goods ordered by his client—a stack of evidence that would shake Johann to his core.

The room was eerily quiet. Dunn did not dare to speak. He patiently waited and gave Johann some space.

After all, the old noble was trembling like crazy. His hands clutched the papers so tightly that his knuckles turned white. The evidence brought by Dunn was too earth-shaking.

If he incited Johann more than he should, the old noble might die.

"This vicious man!" Johann gnashed his teeth. His eyes burned with anger. His pale skin turned red as rage slowly consumed him.

Everybody has been deceived! That's what Johann taught. The persona that Percival showed to the public was only the tip of the iceberg.

The amiable duke was just a mask worn by Percival to garner support and hide his true, malicious nature.

Seeing Johann's reaction, Dunn felt a wave of relief. SIN's hard work was not in vain.

Creating fake evidence was not an easy task. Aside from replicating handwriting, the sentence structure and intonation had to be consistent with the real ones.

What he brings to Johann is just the beginning. There are many more to come. Dunn will not show all of his cards at once.

"Is that it? Do you have the rest?" Johann asked.

Despite his rage, he wanted to know more. He needed to see the entirety of this plot to get a clear picture.

However, Johann was bound to be disappointed when he heard Dunn's response.

"Unfortunately, we only managed to get this much."

"This is not enough to be used as evidence," Johann protested. "We need more. This won't be enough to bring Percival down."

"I know," Dunn said. "We plan to make another trip to the duke's mansion. Please be patient. The security there is no joke, and I also have a limited amount of manpower."

Johann sighed, clearly dissatisfied but resigned to the situation. "Then, I will wait. Just make sure to get it fast!"

"Rest assured, we are committed to this mission. Our team is working tirelessly to gather more evidence."

With Dunn's promise, it can be said the life of three agents will be worse than it currently is.

For the past week, these pitiful agents had been working with little rest to create fake evidence. Now they had to increase productivity even more.

....

"Did he believe it?" Agent No. 45 immediately asked as soon as Dunn walked in.

As the highest-ranked agent, aside from Dunn, she attaches great importance to this mission.

Once completed, there's a high probability for her to get promoted and move up the rank. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

The other two agents, No. 54 and No. 202 were equally eager to hear the feedback.

Dunn nodded his head. A smile spread across his face. He raised his thumb. "Johann believed it. From his reaction, he didn't find anything suspicious about the letters I gave him."

Sigh-

Everyone was relieved. The trio who had spent days and nights meticulously imitating the handwriting, felt relaxed for the first time in a while.

"That's a huge relief," Agent No. 54 said. "I was worried that old man would catch something we missed."

"No kidding," Agent No. 45 added, rubbing her temples. "Forcibly changing my own writing habits was a nightmare."

Agent No. 202, the youngest and least experienced also took this chance to let out his grievance. "I thought my hand was going to cramp permanently."

Dunn chuckled. "You all did an excellent job. However, this is not the end. Johann is eager for more evidence and we have to deliver them. Continue to focus on creating a narrative that ties everything together. We have to be meticulous."

"Well, we've completed the next part of the narrative," Agent No. 54 said, handing Dunn a neatly organized folder. "All that's left is for you to deliver it."

Flipping through the pages, Dunn was satisfied. The forgeries were immaculate, each letter perfectly mimicking the handwriting and tone of the originals.

"Until when do we have to keep doing this?" Agent No. 202 asked. He was a bit weary doing all of this. This is his first time participating in a long-term mission.

"Until Johann turns away from the Klover family," Dunn replied with a firm tone. "Don't worry, I will keep fanning his anger. Every piece of evidence we give him will deepen his distrust and push him away from them."

And that's exactly what Dunn did.

For the next few days, Dunn had been running back and forth between the SIN's hideout and Johann's mansion.

Every time he delivered new 'evidence', the old spy made sure to fan the flames of Johann's anger, urging the old noble to despise the duke more and more.

Johann's rage grew with each visit. He spent hours poring over the 'evidence'.

Dunn watched with satisfaction.

One day, after Johann finished reading the 'evidence' for the nth time, he finally asked, "I have read tons of evidence. You can't convince me more than this. Let's move to the next step. How do you plan to kick Percival?"

Dunn was elated on the inside, but he maintained a composed exterior. This was the moment they had been working towards.

"It's all up to you. You know the inner workings of your family better than me. We will follow your lead as long as it is not harmful to us."

Johann leaned back in his chair, probably thinking of a way to advance from here.

"Hmm...I should first expose him publicly and tear the mask he had been wearing all this time."

"Wise choice! I suggest a banquet would be a perfect stage to make it more dramatic."

Johann agreed, "You're right. Since so many people are nosy, let's satisfy their curiosity. A grand banquet will draw everyone here, and they'll all witness Percival's true nature!"
