Eyes of Truth and Judgement.

Corey's Eyes of Truth and Judgement was a reward he got for passing his second Tribulation of Hell, and it was an extremely useful ability.

It was a unique ocular ability that could perform nine things.

And two of those things was to show the owner of the eyes, who was a threat to him and who was trying to deceive him.

Because his Eyes of Truth and Judgement had fused with his Eyes of Omniscience, he always used both unique eyes whenever he activated either one of them.

A few days after he got his Eyes of Truth and Judgement, he tested out the eyes in the Perceptual Nexus Repository, and then he suddenly glanced at Chucky who was busy managing the Perceptual Nexus Repository.

He said a red and orange hue on Chucky, and at first he had no idea what these colours meant, until he pondered deeply on them.

A red hue around an individual or object signified that the individual or object possessed a level of threat toward him, and the deeper or lighter the shade of the colour, the greater or lesser the threat of the object or individual.

Meanwhile, an orange hue signified that the object or individual was trying to deceive him or manipulate him.

When he realized this, he instantly became suspicious of Chucky.

He decided to be more wary around him and to not give him some very sensitive tasks which he would have usually given him.

For example, the creation of Primus and Prima.

He had wanted to create a unique weapon of his ever since he was in the Underworld, and he would have consulted and spoken to Chucky about it, especially since Chucky was more knowledgeable than him in some things.

Chucky would have also recommended using the Alchemy Anvil to create Primus and Prima.

But because of what his eyes showed him, he never spoke to Chucky about his plans and he never used the Alchemy Anvil.

However, despite years going by, Chucky did nothing to show that he could not be trusted.

He never disobeyed his order.

He never plotted against him in secret.

He never tried to subtly harm him.

He was... trustworthy.

And Corey could not help but wonder at some point if his Eyes of Truth and Judgement had been wrong.

He wanted to believe that Chucky was trustworthy, but his instincts told him otherwise.

Eventually, he decided not to fully trust Chucky, not only because of his instincts and his Eyes of Omniscience, but because of his plan to severe his connection with the Universal System.

Corey was not certain of Chucky's origin, but Chucky was definitely part of his talent, and that meant he was given to him by the Universal System.

Until he fully severed his connection with the Universal System and successfully became a new race, he could not fully trust Chucky.

And it seemed he was right.

He could not trust Chucky.

----

Meanwhile, the moment Corey pointed at his eyes and Chucky saw the golden dot at the center of Corey's pure white eyes, his expression became dark and a tinge of frustration and anger flashed in his eyes.

"Just like your soul, your eyes seem to come from a place I cannot even imagine or fathom."

"Even with all my knowledge and experience, I was not able to find any information about your soul... And then you suddenly gained another unique ocular ability that merged with the Eyes of Omniscience."

"That should not even be possible in the first place."

Corey calmly raised an eyebrow amusedly as he watched Chucky grind his teeth in anger.

Although he had a million things to ask, he decided to ask the most important question.

"Why did you want to kill me?"

Chucky scoffed in anger. "Isn't it obvious, I was given to you by the Universal System, and since you're trying to severe your connection with the System, I obviously have to stop you or it'd affect me too."

Corey's eyes flashed with a orange light, and in his sight, Chucky's entire body also flashed with an orange hue the moment he spoke.

Corey's lips curled up slightly. "You're lying, Chucky. Tell me the truth or I'll refine you into a pill the moment I'm done with the Universal System."

Chucky frowned slightly in confusion, until his eyes flashed with realization.

"Your eyes. Can your damned eyes tell you when somebody is lying to you?"

Corey nodded his head nonchalantly and sarcastically. "I guess you could say so."

Chucky remained silent, and even after six seconds passed, he said nothing.

Corey sighed softly.

"I was hoping it won't come to this."

Chucky was about to respond, but then his pupils constricted violently as his instincts warned him.

The book in his hands opened and runes flickered into existence, but in the next second, the runes shattered into pieces.

Chucky's eyes widened in disbelief and shock, and in the next moment.

"AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

The book fell from his hands and an extremely loud scream tore through his throat.

Although Chucky's scream was akin to that of a child, Corey did not care.

With a totally nonchalant gaze, he watched as

Chucky held the stump on his left arm with an extremely pained expression.

"You're in my world, Chucky. My soul. Even a god would fear me in this place, and you of all people should know that."

Chucky gritted his teeth as he stared at Corey who spoke with an utterly cold tone but indifferent expression.

In his right hand was a sword made out of spiritual energy.

"Now, tell me why you wanted to kill me, Chucky." 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Chucky gnashed his teeth in anger, then he looked at his severed left arm floating far away from him.

His book could also be seen floating beside his arm, and his eyes flashed with a million thoughts and calculations.

The slight movement of the spiritual sword in Corey's hand was reflected in the corner of his eyes, and he quickly spoke for fear of his life.

"It's because I'm a fragment of the spirit of the Universe. I was not lying when I said what you're doing would affect me too."
