Chapter 120: Fierce Battle For Frostbane [3] — The Vultarn High Dominion Dog

Louis remained calm. He clashed with the shrieking Entity, completely ignoring the ink. Suddenly, he raised his hand. A golden spear hurtled toward him, drenched in the blood of hundreds of creatures it had slain. The Screaming Entity swung its massive fists, hammering Louis’s body and steadily cracking through his scales and armor. Louis gathered his energy and channeled it into his spear. "You only know how to scream," he said coldly. "What a vile, disgusting thing. Begone from my sight." 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Without a second of delay, Louis unleashed several thrusting attacks with Gungnir. His Aura surged, resembling a roaring golden dragon.

"G-GAAAAHHH?!"

The Screaming Entity groaned as his body filled with dozens of holes at once. At the same time, energy continued accumulating into a massive golden dragon behind Louis. The Entity leaped forward—even covered in holes—swinging its fists and smashing through Louis’s defenses. But his stance didn’t falter.

"Goodbye."

Louis unleashed all the accumulated damage. He thrust his spear forward as a giant golden dragon—made of concentrated power and the resonating Rune of Slaughter—manifested.

"Holy Dragon Lance Style."

"First Form – Radiant Fang!"

"ROOOAARR!"

The mighty dragon’s roar echoed. It pierced the Screaming Entity and the supporting Arachnid. Both were instantly annihilated. Their bodies disintegrated into ashes, and their cores vanished alongside them, scattering into dust.

Louis’s attack struck further behind them, targeting a group of Vultarn High Dominion soldiers he saw walking with someone who seemed to be their leader.

BOOOM!

The soldiers immediately disappeared the same way the Entities had... except for one. Louis ran forward, leaping over one of the abandoned houses to inspect the individual in detail.

Amidst the smoke from Louis’s attack, a man stood wearing a black uniform, black militaristic hat, black boots, and gray militaristic pants.

He had short red hair, glowing purple eyes, and a pair of black horns emerging from each side of his head.

He had a long, pointed tail and an Aura of incredible power.

This was no ordinary soldier.

"So what we picked up from the soldiers that were massacred is true. The Prince lives! To think I would run right into you as you massacre my entire troop. How lucky of me," the man smiled warmly, brushing dust from his shoulders.

"Who are you?" Louis asked. His Aura surged.

"Ah, excuse me, I didn’t introduce myself, did I? I am General Kael’thas Veynar, Commander of the Vultarn High Dominion’s Seventh Legion."

His voice was calm, almost polite, but the weight of his Aura pressed down like a mountain. The air itself seemed to warp around him, bending under his presence.

Louis narrowed his eyes. He felt this Aura of Fantasium was rather "familiar." He began to realize this man was not normal—he was something similar to him. "A Vultarn High Dominion Commander... so you’re the one orchestrating this slaughter. How many of you are there? Are there more Commanders walking around?"

Kael’thas chuckled softly, his tail flicking behind him. "Slaughter? No, no, Prince. This is reclamation. This world is humanity’s property—all there is belongs to humanity. This country, allowing sinful Anomalies to walk freely, is utterly disgusting. We have come here to correct that. We will reform your country into a brand-new one. And we will use all the resources you’ve gathered for the betterment of humanity. You’ve wandered too far into powers never meant for your kind. Spiralwalker or not, you are a mistake—an aberration born of the love between a wicked man and a disgusting Anomaly. And mistakes must be corrected."

After hearing that, Louis’s eyebrows twitched. One thing was insulting his father; another was his mother. His Aura surged with immense wrath, burning like flames. He raised Gungnir, its golden edge dripping with the remnants of Fantasium. "You call me a mistake, when you’re clearly a descendant of Spiritias’ demons? You arrogant, hypocritical bastard."

Kael’thas tilted his head, his glowing purple eyes narrowing. "Hm? Me? A descendant of those creatures? Hahahaha! What a funny joke! I am a human, a hundred percent human! I was created by scientists, designed as a human possessing the strength of those creatures, with none of the disgusting parts. And unlike those pitiful Entities you’ve burned, I am no mindless spawn."

The ground trembled as Kael’thas extended his hand. A black sigil appeared beneath Louis’s feet, spreading like a spiderweb. Chains of shadow erupted from the earth, lashing toward him.

"So you’re a lab-grown rat, huh?! That’s not any better, mongrel!" Louis roared. His Nirvana Flames burst outward, burning the chains before they could bind him. "And is that it? You’ll have to do better than that!"

Kael’thas smiled wider, revealing sharp fangs. "Oh, I intend to."

His horns glowed. The sky itself darkened. Purple lightning cascaded down, striking the ruins around them. The soldiers who had survived Louis’s earlier attack—because they were out of range—began screaming. Their bodies twisted into grotesque forms—half men, half demonic beasts.

Catrise, watching from afar, gasped. "That man... Is he also a Spiralwalker, my lord?!"

The knights faltered as the resurrected soldiers charged. Their cursed armor cracked under the strain of Kael’thas’ Authority. However, led by Fernand and Elises, they clashed against the demonic aberrations, doing everything they could to stop them.

Louis stood firm. His golden dragon Aura coiled around him like a living beast. "Yeah, I guessed as much, Catrise. However, that’s better. I’ll enjoy eating his Spiral Stone once I’m done with this demon."

Kael’thas’ smile faded. His eyes glowed brighter. "I honestly hoped you would be dead but entertained the thought of killing you myself if you ever came back. And now look at you, all strong! I thought you were a crippled and talentless bastard. Was all our information wrong this entire time, Prince Louis?"

Louis charged. His Aura surged and roared like a ferocious gray-and-golden dragon—half made of light; half made of ashes. "Why don’t you test it yourself?"

BOOOM!

RUMBLE!

The battlefield shook as the two Spiralwalkers clashed. The surrounding ruins were instantly flattened by the shockwave from their impact. Even though Louis was four meters tall in his current form and Kael’thas barely reached 1.70 meters, both seemed equally powerful.
