"According to the report, that kid also collected rare plants mentioned in the mission. His record was better than other Beast Tamers," Harold said to himself.

He was impressed with the mission. Now, he thinks Jeremy Night has genuinely become part of their organization.

Room

Jeremy wakes up and completes his morning routine. He couldn’t help but recall yesterday’s mission. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

He had found the hideout of a strong criminal organization. He shakes his head before pushing down the thoughts. Since he decided not to intervene, he is going to bury this matter in his mind.

He then finished his morning routine before entering the training room. He closed the door before turning on the switch. The next second, the natural energy from the inlet started coming inside.

Pure natural energy began to fill the room. Jeremy breathes in the energy and sits down cross-legged. He waited for the natural energy to fill the room.

Then, he closed his eyes and started running the inner breathing method. Slowly, the natural energy entered his body.

After the natural energy entered his body, he began to circulate the energy inside. As the natural energy flowed through him, his body cells began to greedily absorb it.

Feeling that, he continued the process. Not long after, the unknown beast egg became activated. It felt the pure, rich natural energy around it, so the egg began to suck the natural energy from the room.

The repetition continues.

City A

The city is trying to return to normalcy. Earlier, the locals were scared because of the appearance of corrupted beasts inside the city boundaries.

Then, the Governors took swift action in eliminating the hideouts and capturing the illegal criminals plaguing the city.

The mission was successful. Teams from the Major Beast Taming Forces participated, and the media reported on it.

The locals have seen footage of the captured criminals. It somewhat assured the locals that the Governors did take action.

However, they didn’t know whether all the criminal organizations were eliminated or not. They believed that their streets were going to be safe for the time being.

City Office

The Three Governors are monitoring the city. They took a great risk to appease the anger of the public.

They were satisfied with the response to the mission; many of the criminals’ hideouts were exposed, and they were caught and imprisoned.

At the same time, they were not too happy because they knew not all the criminal organizations were uprooted. The strong organizations had bases in other cities, so they were wary of retaliation.

Not only were they being alert, but the Central University 5 and the Beast Taming Association were being careful as well. Because they have branches in all human zones, they knew more about the criminal organizations and their activities.

City A had a small hideout. It was not on a scale that posed a threat to the locals, but the authorities themselves were caught off guard by the appearance of the corrupted beasts some time ago.

That’s why they agreed to do the mission under the City Governors. They were hoping to find another beast hideout, but unfortunately, they didn’t spot any other corrupted beasts hiding in the city.

Wilderness

The members of the Darkshade organization were doing their mission. They escorted the goods from their hideout and were now taking them to their destination. The destination was located in an unexplored area of the wilderness.

It may be an unexplored area for the general human population, but the criminal organizations have carved out their own trade paths. They even had a map of the place.

Though the criminal organizations have their own maps, they were still aware of the dangers surrounding the area. It is a new area beyond the explored zones; it is normal to come across Tier-5 and above beasts.

A team of 15 Darkshade members was moving along a specific path.

At the same time, they were keeping an eye on their surroundings. Each member had a specific job to do; only in that way could they complete the mission.

There was still an hour left before they reached their destination.

Shortly afterwards, the group came to open land. There was no greenery to cover their movements. They had become open targets now.

The 15 members were all nervous because previous groups had suffered casualties. Despite the casualty rate, they were able to complete the mission.

"Come on, don’t waste time," the leader of the group reminded the members. Hearing this, everyone continued to move.

Not long after, a buzzing noise sounded. The members stopped in their tracks and started looking around.

They were standing openly under the sun on a sandy path. No beast would prefer to roam under this scorching sun; that’s why they had chosen this specific timing.

The buzzing sound was heard again. This time, it was getting nearer. Even the leader was flustered, and the other members were panicking.

They didn’t know if it was the sound of beasts, even though the leader was a Tier-6 Beast Tamer. The rest of them were Tier-5 and Tier-4 Beast Tamers.

"Leader, what’s going on?"

"Maybe we should go back?"

"It must be some kind of bird-type beast."

The members started voicing their opinions one after another. The leader was angry and immediately shouted back at them.

"Stay quiet. Don’t raise your voices. It could be the bird-type Lifeline Beasts," the leader said to them.

Hearing that, the members became silent. They knew how dangerous flying-type corrupted bird beasts were. If the beast tamers were caught by them, there was no chance to escape.

Even their leader wouldn’t be able to save them. So, they became quiet. Seeing that they had all become silent, the leader sighed in relief.

He knew how terrifying the unexplored area beyond the assigned territory was. Many of their members had died while doing these missions before.
