Jeremy Night uses the forest cover to flee. The next second, his sense of crisis shoots up. Danger is coming from his right side. He immediately sidesteps to avoid the attack.

A sharp, needle-like mouthpart tears through the air. It is over 2 meters long. If that needle were to strike his body, he would be riddled with holes.

At the same time, Jeremy’s gaze falls on the huge compound eyes. The robust body of the beast is so close to the ground that all the hairs on his body stand up. He feels those compound eyes locking onto him.

The unknown beast egg shakes slightly, bringing him out of his daze and fear.

The next second, he darts away. His body speeds up; he can tell the Tier-6 Beast is going all out now. He has only a slim chance of escaping unscathed. Just as he is fleeing, he hears the sound of wing-blades again.

His hand reaches for his scabbard unconsciously, but he stops at the last moment. Instead, he wraps his forefinger with starlight thread while running at high speed.

One after another, the green cover of the forest is destroyed. The destruction creates a deafening noise, which in turn alerts the corrupted beasts and human beast tamers nearby.

Once again, Jeremy moves his body to avoid an attack. This time, it is the blade-like wings. Instead of hitting him, the dense canopy is cleaved in two.

Like an ant, Jeremy tries his best to stay away from the massive beast. He hopes for another ground-collapse incident to occur, but it is unlikely in this situation.

This time, others have caught up to him. Jeremy’s expression grows serious; he didn’t expect other beasts to join the chase. Looking for a way out, he uses his second eye ability.

A tremendous force generates under his feet, propelling his body forward. This time, he is truly going all out.

The Tier-6 Tsetse Fly Beast is annoyed. It thought it had cornered the human prey and didn’t expect him to flee again.

Now, a swarm of Tsetse Fly Beasts joins the hunt. They follow the Tier-6 Beast’s lead, razing trees and forest cover along the way.

He steps directly into the territory of another corrupted beast. With his eyesight, he spots it from a distance. To divert his pursuers, he has no choice but to get closer to it.

The beast is a type of centipede. Its multiple legs are clearly visible. He heads towards the tail end, knowing the centipede’s ground speed will be faster than the fly beast’s.
