The huge worm beast turned towards him. Jeremy tried to sense the strength of the beast. The worm beast was showing strength above Tier-4.

The monstrous worm beast moved towards him. A quick gleam flashed in Jeremy Night's eyes. He held the katana blade tightly.

In a flash, he avoided the huge body of the worm. He side-stepped and swung the blade at the worm beast.

The blade cut through the side of the beast's body. The size of the body was so huge that the katana blade left behind only a small cut.

More yellowish liquid emerged from the wound.

The massive body of the worm beast landed on the ground. A huge, deep pit appeared.

The yellowish mucous liquid and blood touched the ground. They started to corrode the green patches. It showed how dangerous that mucous liquid was.

Jeremy Night retreated closer to the tree. He saw the corrosive nature of the mucous liquid.

Now he knew the strength of the worm beast: it was a Tier-5 Corrupted beast. It is not easy to kill a worm beast; they have high survivability even if they are cut into pieces.

Jeremy felt more auras moving closer towards their spot. He couldn't stay here anymore. He looked ahead and used "Explosive Steps" to vacate the place.

Jeremy went deeper and disappeared into the thick forest. He is using his eye ability to check whether the beasts are following him or not.

The worm beast didn't follow him; instead, it disappeared back into the crack.

He realized that it was the territory of the worm beast. He had stepped inside its territory unknowingly. Now that he had left the place, the worm beast didn't have a reason to chase him.

Jeremy then found a suitable place to rest. Only a few hours were left until evening.

The snake beast was over 25 feet long. He knew a fight would break out if he got near the crimson flowers.
