Supreme Dragon Lord-Chapter 323: Holy Thunder Technique!
Facing the incoming bolts of the Power of Thunder, Chu Lingjun’s expression tightened. She accelerated, her body becoming a blur as she darted through the space, trying to evade the onslaught. But no matter how she dodged, her path was ultimately blocked by the Power of Thunder.
Chu Lingjun glanced back at Lei Man. Her friend’s face was contorted with pain as she desperately held on, but she was clearly at her limit. There was no time to wait. If this goes on, we’ll all die here!
BOOM!
Suddenly, Chu Lingjun also unleashed her own power. She blasted out several Palm Shadows, which collided fiercely with the Power of thunder and lightning. Seizing the brief two-second stalemate, she pushed her speed to its absolute maximum and charged straight for the source point.
In the blink of an eye, Chu Lingjun arrived at its location. Here, there was no oppressive force, a stark contrast to the dense lightning that filled the surrounding space.
The source point seemed to sense Chu Lingjun’s arrival and began to vibrate even more violently. As if summoned by it, all the existing Power of Thunder suddenly surged straight toward her.
Looking at the source point, Chu Lingjun didn’t hesitate for a moment longer and reached out to grab it. However, just as she was about to make contact, it erupted in a blinding white light, so bright that Chu Lingjun could not keep her eyes open. Moreover, as if sensing danger at the critical moment, the source point began to resist. An extremely powerful force burst forth, enveloping her.
Facing this immense power, Chu Lingjun had no time for caution. She pushed forward, reaching for the source point with all her might!
"Ah!" Chu Lingjun roared. She struggled to withstand the powerful force unleashed by the source point, and a trickle of fresh blood spilled from the corner of her mouth. Even so, she refused to give up. She continued to endure the force, using every ounce of her strength to get closer.
Finally, her slender fingers touched the source point.
A surge of intense pain shot through her, causing Chu Lingjun immense discomfort. It felt as if a dagger had been brutally stabbed into her heart. The old saying about the ten fingers being connected to the heart must be true.
Chu Lingjun gritted her teeth and endured the agony. She pushed her hand forward until she finally grasped the source point, holding it tight.
The moment she had it in her hand, the dense Power of Thunder surrounding them abruptly stopped. Lei Man was also freed. No longer suffering from the oppressive force, she seized the chance to catch her breath, exhaling a long, turbid sigh.
"How are you?" Chu Lingjun asked, seeing that Lei Man was all right.
"I’m fine." Lei Man gave her a thumbs-up. "Nice job."
Just as Chu Lingjun was about to move, the source point in her hand suddenly emitted dense arcs of lightning that completely enveloped her.
AHH!!
An intense agony swept over her, so severe that it felt as if her eyes would split open. Her entire body was paralyzed, leaving her with no strength to resist as the dense lightning coursed through her.
Lei Man’s expression froze as she witnessed this sudden turn of events. She had never anticipated something like this could happen. What on earth is going on? Her mind was filled with confusion.
However, this was no time for contemplation. The most pressing matter was to free Chu Lingjun from this peril.
With this thought, Lei Man took a step forward, her body blurring into an afterimage as she shot toward Chu Lingjun. She rushed forward and pressed a palm on Chu Lingjun’s shoulder, attempting to help her dispel the lightning.
Unfortunately, her attempt failed. Instead, she was blasted back by the powerful, spreading Power of thunder and lightning. Before Lei Man could even regain her footing, the dense lightning was already rushing toward her. Left with no choice, Lei Man could only defend herself, with no opportunity to get close to Chu Lingjun again.
Veins bulged on Chu Lingjun’s forehead. Under the severe pain, she felt she was about to collapse, her head growing incredibly heavy. To stay conscious, she bit down hard on her tongue, the sharp pain stimulating her nerves and preventing her from fainting. She knew that if she passed out, she might never wake up again. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
Just then, the source point that had been in her hand suddenly entered her body through her palm and began to wander about inside. Wherever the source point went, that part of her body emitted a flash of white light. However, the intense pain wracking her body eased, becoming more bearable.
Chu Lingjun was startled. What’s happening? How did the source point get inside my body?
Before she could figure it out, another wave of intense pain suddenly shot through her, jolting her nerves. Cold sweat, the size of large beans, beaded on her forehead and rolled down. In the moments that followed, dense flashes of lightning continued to flicker across her body.
SIZZLE...
At this moment, with Chu Lingjun at its epicenter, the surrounding magnetic field became incredibly powerful!
Seeing this, Lei Man stood frozen in place. A look of disbelief crossed her face, but she wasn’t worried for Chu Lingjun’s safety. She knew in her heart that Chu Lingjun was not in mortal danger. On the contrary, she had stumbled upon a great opportunity!
"Calm your mind! Carefully control your battle qi to manipulate this Power of thunder and lightning," Lei Man urgently advised.
Upon hearing this, Chu Lingjun immediately did as she was told, settling her mind to mobilize the battle qi within her. As she continued to guide it, the incessantly flashing Power of thunder and lightning gradually began to stabilize. She even felt as if she could now command the lightning to a small degree.
It seemed the Power of Thunder either sensed the potent bloodline within Chu Lingjun or was being suppressed by her, as it ceased to cause her any harm.
With the intense pain gone, Chu Lingjun’s heart finally settled. She sat down cross-legged, striving to harmonize with the energy inside her. As she did, a white light flashed from between her eyebrows.
Instantly, Chu Lingjun’s mind went completely blank.
The sensation was one of total emptiness, without a single stray thought.
Before she could comprehend what was happening, a long string of runes suddenly appeared in her mind. The very first line read: Holy Thunder Technique.
