"That was intense!" Kragen’s voice boomed from behind me making me jerk with surprise "The Carrell family is even more intense than they seem. Can you imagine that whole information?"

"Tell me about it," I sighed "Did you know about Noah’s mom by the way? She gave me a once over, then stood to one side of the door. I entered the room, fighting the urge to grab her hair and went straight to the bed. Truly, Noah was fast asleep. He looked so peaceful with his eyes closed and the furrows on his forehead had eased into smooth lines. Instead of reaching for the so-called supplement when I got to the bed, I laid on the space beside Noah on the bed, loving the way his arms came around me as he felt my presence.

"What took you so long?" he murmured his eyes still closed.

"I didn’t know if I could come. Your mistress was in the room with you, after all,".

"Brooke," he murmured placing a kiss on my forehead "I asked her to leave as soon as I finished bathing. I’m sorry baby for today," his eyes finally flickered open. He leaned on his hand, his eyes still sleepy as he hovered over me "I admit I wasn’t in the best frame of mind and I am a bit ashamed of myself too for acting that way. "Yeah!" I sighed, snaking my hands around him, enjoying the hurt that flitted across Brooke’s face as she watched us. Thinking she would leave the room; she came to the bed instead. As soon as she dropped on it, Noah turned to her, surprised on his face.

"What are you still doing here? Didn’t I ask you to go to your room?" Noah asked.

"Well, I don’t want to. We need to start bonding with the baby as a parent and you’ve neglected me all these weeks. Do you even care for the baby at all? I wish I didn’t put myself in this mess," she cried.

"It was your choice to carry the baby, Brooke!" Noah sighed "I didn’t sign up for this. You know very well that I love my wife and there’s no way I would choose you over her. Just leave my room, already, please...".

"Noah!" tears formed in Brooke’s eyes as she stared at him. She didn’t think he would be that way with her. As much as I should be dancing around happily at the way she was being told off, I hated she was trying to get sympathy but Noah was either not in the mood to give her or he was tired.

"I repeatedly allowed you to have your way with me and you kept saying that you enjoy every part of me. Why then are you trying to play saint? This is our responsibility, Noah. You got me pregnant... you should strive to be a good father this time around. This is going to be your first child,".

"I know what," Noah murmured burying his head in the crook of my neck. "You smell so good," he murmured as he began to press open-mouthed kisses on the exposed part of my body. At this point, Brooke wasn’t trying to hide her anger.

"You know what, I’m going to have the baby removed," a tear rolled down her cheek "I don’t think you deserve to be a father and who knows, this might be your last chance given to you by the moon goddess and you’re going to throw it away just like before,".

"You would do no such thing!" Noah was in the middle of unhooking my bra when he stopped to face her. I could feel my body tingling with want. I didn’t know if it was the stockpile of hormones my body was generating these days but I seemed to be enjoying sex with him more and more.
