The Celibate Tycoon Has Fallen-Chapter 116: Very Worried About Him
The mountain was filled with howling winds, and Yelena Hughes saw that Jasper Yale was dressed thinly. Since Shawn Thorne hadn’t made things difficult for her, why not leave immediately?
"What are you worried about?"
She swallowed the tension in her mouth. "I see the roads around are all mountainous."
Hailey Jenkins also wanted to persuade, "Young master, you really don’t need to take offense with him. Let’s just go back."
"I’m just playing around with him. What’s there to be offended about?"
Hailey Jenkins saw Jasper Yale roll up his sleeves, and Yelena Hughes felt a strong sense of unease, but she didn’t think Jasper Yale would listen to her.
"Young master, this won’t work..."
Jasper Yale turned sideways, looked at her upon hearing this, and his beautiful, slender fingers became visible one by one.
Jasper Yale suddenly leaned close to Yelena Hughes’ ear. "A man can’t be told he can’t do it." 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
She looked up, his charming demeanor etched into Yelena Hughes’ heart, his eyes reflecting fragmented light from the headlights.
"What do you mean by saying in front of others that I can’t do it?"
"Don’t twist my words."
Shawn Thorne had already returned to his motorcycle, swung his long leg over it, and straddled it.
Hailey Jenkins kept signaling to Yelena Hughes with his eyes; this wasn’t something to play around with and must be stopped.
Yelena Hughes held onto Jasper Yale’s coat, but what else could she say? On what basis could she change Jasper Yale’s decision?
The man walked into the crowd and casually said, "Who will lend me a car?"
Motorcycle enthusiasts all knew that their bike was their precious treasure, almost like their lifeblood.
But the one who asked was Jasper Yale.
"Young master, use mine."
"Mine is also available. Use mine."
Jasper Yale chose a bike for himself. He stood tall and elegant, the white shirt contrasting with the black bike, combining the two most extreme colors, creating an image of noble elegance.
Yelena Hughes saw Jasper Yale put on a helmet.
The man in charge of signaling came over. "Are both of you familiar with the route? Which route did you choose?"
Shawn Thorne gestured, "Young master, please choose."
"I’m easy." It didn’t matter which one.
Shawn Thorne showed a three-finger gesture, lowered the face shield of his helmet, and Yelena Hughes saw the man with the signal gun raise his arm.
With a gunshot, the sound of fierce competition drilled into Yelena Hughes’ eardrums.
The bikes sped off quickly, and Hailey Jenkins shouted, "Young master," but it was to no avail.
"Miss Hughes!"
Yelena Hughes could tell he was angry. "Why didn’t you stop the young master?"
"How could I stop him?"
Hailey Jenkins walked up to her, "He’s doing this for you. Couldn’t you stop him?"
Yelena Hughes’ lips twitched but didn’t dare admit it. She turned her gaze away. "How is that possible."
"Then, tell me, did the young master do this just because he was too full?"
Hailey Jenkins angrily ruffled his hair, "We rushed over immediately after you received a call from your colleague. If you weren’t getting so close to Master Thorne, the young master wouldn’t have..."
Yelena Hughes held his coat tightly as she walked to the side to wait.
She didn’t understand what it meant to "race a round," nor how long it would take to return.
She squatted at the starting point waiting, but even after about half an hour, there was still no sign of them.
Yelena Hughes could hardly contain herself. She looked at Hailey Jenkins, who was equally anxious, "Why aren’t they back yet?"
"Maybe they fell somewhere, who knows."
Worry simmered in Yelena Hughes’ heart, while Hailey Jenkins stared into the depths of the dense forest, "A lot of people want to deal with the young master. What if something happens halfway..."
Stop talking!
Yelena Hughes’ face turned pale. "Then go find him."
"Do you think I dare?" Hailey Jenkins spoke the truth, not to mention that these roads weren’t suitable for driving into.
"Heavens help those who help themselves. It’ll be fine." Yelena Hughes said this softly, perhaps comforting herself.
She waited at the wind’s edge for a while, but eventually had to stand up in anxiety.
"I’ll go take a look."
Hailey Jenkins hurried to stop her, "Don’t go causing more trouble. You don’t even understand the specifics of Route Three."
"But there’s surely only one way back. I’ll just look at the road junction."
Without waiting for Hailey Jenkins to speak again, Yelena Hughes walked hurriedly forward.
After walking for a while, she stopped by the roadside, the dim light casting her body’s shadow long.
Yelena Hughes really felt panicked. But what was she panicking about?
She couldn’t give herself an answer.
Until, a sound unique to motorcycles approached from a distance, and Yelena Hughes couldn’t handle that sound.
But she didn’t cover her ears, she leaned out, and saw a white silhouette from afar, as he cut through the darkest road of the night.
Yelena Hughes almost jumped up, waving her arms with her face full of excitement.
The man stopped the bike, his long leg propped on the ground, and without wasting a word, "Get on!"
Yelena Hughes hastily climbed onto the back seat.
"Hold tight."
She wrapped her arms tightly around Jasper Yale’s waist. Shawn Thorne was closely chasing behind, and Yelena Hughes didn’t have a helmet on, so she hid her face against his sturdy back.
This was a thorough contest, the most primitive desire for male conquest. Yelena Hughes pressed her face against Jasper Yale’s back, feeling the warmth from his body.
Returning to the original venue, Hailey Jenkins let out a long exhale.
Yelena Hughes got off the bike first, saw Jasper Yale remove his helmet, his long fingers tracing upward along his hairline, casually brushing through his hair.
When he handed the helmet to Hailey Jenkins, the shirt at his waist stretched taut, faintly hinting at a fine waistline.
Yelena Hughes quickly handed him his coat.
Shawn Thorne’s bike also drove up, and he had lost. He tossed his head after removing his helmet. "Young master, you’re really something."
"You’re not bad either."
Jasper Yale pulled each of his tightly fitting gloves off, took the coat, and draped it over himself.
Shawn Thorne quickly turned his gaze to Yelena Hughes, speaking with apparent sincerity, "Do consider what I said earlier."
"Master Thorne, stop harassing me, or I’ll call your father."
Shawn Thorne was momentarily stunned. "I wasn’t harassing you, just pursuing you."
"I know your father’s work hotline and his email."
"..."
Jasper Yale tossed the gloves onto the bike. "Thorne, according to the rules of this circle, I won. Can I make a request?"
Shawn Thorne’s expression shifted. "What request?"
Jasper Yale seemed to imply something, glancing below his waist.
"Control yourself, and stop fooling around everywhere."
"Jasper!"
The event was a significant humiliation for Shawn Thorne, and he couldn’t bear that Jasper Yale was bringing it up again!
Jasper Yale took Yelena Hughes back to his car and bent down to sit in.
Shawn Thorne almost wanted to throw his helmet in anger.
The car’s heater was on, and Yelena Hughes noticed Jasper Yale leaning back, couldn’t help but ask, "Are you very cold?"
His legs and hands were cold, and Jasper Yale turned his face towards her. "Would you like to help warm me up?"
