Jie Fu Lian felt a little awkward and worried as he entered the HuiXue sect with Hua Tianshu.

After knowing that Sect Master Quan also knew of his secret, he didn’t know how he was supposed to greet the man.

Sect Master Quan was someone whom he deeply respected and also someone whom he would enjoy playing tricks on.

When he thought back to how rudely he had behaved, pretending to be the real demon king in front of that man, he felt so embarrassed that he almost wanted to dig a hole and bury himself.

Although he was a little nervous, he was still looking forward to meeting Sect Master Quan again.

He changed his appearance once again and used the real Shen Fang’s appearance as he entered the HuiXue Sect.

Walking beside Hua Tianshu, the two garnered a lot of attention from the HuiXue sect disciples who just happened to have seen them.

Jie Fu Lian felt a little awkward but he didn’t let it show on his face. In the end, he could not help but send Hua Tianshu a voice transmission as he asked, "Is it just me or are there more eyes on us than usual?"

"You are handsome so of course, they’d look."

Hua Tianshu’s words made sense but in reality, that was not the only reason why the two gained the attention of everyone around.

After what happened to Jie Fu Lian eight years ago, Hua Tianshu’s behavior changed drastically. He was no longer easygoing and hardly ever interacted with others. Duan Luoyang, as his disciple, was perhaps the only one whom he could be seen walking with, and that too, very rarely.

Even with Sect Master Quan, Hua Tianshu always behaved as if he could not care less and had a frown plastered on his face at all times. It was Jie Fu Lian who had died but it was Hua Tianshu who looked like he was a walking corpse.

However, shockingly enough, that gloomy Hua Tianshu seemed to have suddenly changed. Not only was he walking with a person who was recognized by no one, with a soft smile plastered on his face, he was also radiating a warm and happy aura.

Most of the people who saw them together had a hard time believing their eyes and for a second, they wondered if this was truly Hua Tianshu or if it was someone pretending to be him.

Only when the initial shock died down did they turn their eyes to Jie Fu Lian and took a good look at him which left them shocked once again.

If Hua Tianshu was the most handsome person in the HuiXue sect then the man he had brought with him was perhaps the most handsome man in all of the mortal realm...!

Hence, Hua Tianshu’s words were not completely false.

Everyone really was attracted to Jie Fu Lian’s face.

A few disciples bowed their heads and enthusiastically greeted Hua Tianshu who slightly nodded and greeted them back. One such daring disciple not only greeted the two of them but also looked at Jie Fu Lian with great interest and asked, "Elder Hua, Is this your lover?"

Jie Fu Lian almost choked on empty air as he heard this question and Hua Tianshu happily smiled without giving a response.

The male disciple took a single look at Hua Tianshu’s reaction and immediately guessed that he was correct so he smiled as he spoke, "I’m Wang Zexian. I am an outer-core disciple of the HuiXue sect."

"Wang Zexian?" Jie Fu Lian repeated, finding the name familiar, and in the very next moment, he exclaimed, "Ah! You’re the spy!"

Wang Zexian’s cheeks immediately turned red with embarrassment and he looked down with guilt as he muttered, "I was threatened. I had no choice. Please, forgive me."

Jie Fu Lian chuckled at this reaction and felt that this Wang Zexian would be fun to tease.

"I was actually looking forward to meeting you," Jie Fu Lian beamed, "It was surprising to know that Hua Tianshu forgave you. I thought he would’ve killed you."

Wang Zexian gulped as he heard this and took a quick glance at Hua Tianshu before he spoke, "I also thought that he was going to kill me."

"But!" Wang Zexian suddenly held up his hand as he quickly added, "Luckily, he only broke a few of my bones."

Jie Fu Lian immediately grabbed the man’s hand and squeezed it as he asked, "This is broken?"

"Ouch!" The man flinched but bit his lip and stopped himself from crying out in pain before speaking, "It was broken. I ate a few recovery pills and barely got it fixed."

"Ah~" Jie Fu Lian nodded in understanding but did not let go of the man’s hand and instead, started poking the man’s hand as he asked, "So does it still hurt a lot?"

Wang Zexian bit his lip and forced himself to smile as he shook his head and lied, "Just a little. I can endure it."

Hua Tianshu pulled Jie Fu Lian’s hand back as he spoke, "Stop messing around."

Jie Fu Lian chuckled and obediently listened to the man and Wang Zexian almost peed as he saw Hua Tianshu’s hostile glare.

"E-Elder Hua, don’t worry. I dare not touch your man!" Wang Zexian immediately stuttered out, fearing for his life, "There is no need to get jealous."

"Jealous?" Hua Tianshu’s eyes narrowed down on the man dangerously as he asked, "Of you?"

Wang Zexian gulped as he felt a shiver run down his spine. Knowing that he would be digging a hole by saying something, he decided to keep his mouth shut. He looked a little terrified as he shook his head and strongly denied it.

Jie Fu Lian was thoroughly enjoying the different range of emotions displayed on Wang Zexian’s face and could not stop laughing.

"Let’s go," Hua Tianshu sharply spoke.

"Where are we going?" Still laughing, Jie Fu Lian light-heartedly asked.

Jie Fu Lian’s mood directly affected Hua Tianshu’s mood as well and the man softly smiled as he spoke, "To my house."

"Eh?" Jie Fu Lian was left a little dumbstruck and he cluelessly blinked as he looked at Hua Tianshu.

"It would not be a good idea to directly meet the Sect Master," Hua Tianshu explained, almost sounding as if he was trying to justify something, "He might be too shocked to see you. I’ll talk to him first and we’ll meet him later."

Jie Fu Lian felt that Hua Tianshu’s words made sense, but at the same time, he wondered why he was going to Hua Tianshu’s house instead of waiting at the guest house.

However, Jie Fu Lian never questioned anything and only nodded his head.

Hua Tianshu held onto Jie Fu Lian’s hand and without even saying anything to Wang Zexian, he pulled Jie Fu Lian away and headed to his house.

Wang Zexian looked at their moving backs and then looked down at their interlocked hands. His lips curled up in a small smile and his cheeks turned a little red as he thought: As expected, handsome men really do suit each other the best!

Although he always tried his best not to show it, Wang Zexian had an unusual hobby of reading romantic fictional books with both of the main characters being handsome and talented men.

Whenever he saw two men acting extremely friendly with each other, he could not help but remember all those fictional books that he had read and would immediately start blushing as he imagined all kinds of romantic scenarios.

He was an avid shipper of the Hua Tianshu and Jie Fu Lian pairing and used to believe that there could be no one who would be able to replace Jie Fu Lian and catch Hua Tianshu’s attention, however, today, he was pleasantly surprised and decided to ship a new pairing.

Hua Tianshu shrugged his shoulders and said nothing.

Hua Tianshu did not let go of Jie Fu Lian’s hand and Jie Fu Lian also didn’t seem like he wanted the man to let go.

The two walked, hand-in-hand towards Hua Tianshu’s house and attracted even more attention.

Those who were curious about Jie Fu Lian’s identity immediately looked at their interlocked hands and guessed that the two probably had a very intimate relationship and this anonymous man was perhaps Hua Tianshu’s lover.

The rumors spread fast and in just a days time, everyone in the HuiXue sect came to hear a shocking revelation that the cranky and gloomy Hua Tianshu had changed and it was all due to his handsome new lover that he had brought back to flaunt.

A few hours after Jie Fu Lian had entered Hua Tianshu’s house, there were already people hiding outside, trying to catch a glimpse of the rumored lover that Hua Tianshu had brought back home.
