"Let’s just go and meet Sect Master Quan," Jie Fu Lian sighed as he shook his head and spoke, "If we talk about this matter any further, I’m afraid I’ll feel more embarrassed."
Hua Tianshu nodded his head as he heard this and said nothing more.
With Jie Fu Lian by his side, Hua Tianshu went to visit Sect Master Quan, who, as expected, had already heard the rumors about the secret lover that Hua Tianshu had brought back. However, unlike others, Sect Master Quan actually knew who the man was.
"So you finally remembered me?" Sect Master Quan sighed as he glanced at Jie Fu Lian and commented.
Jie Fu Lian scratched the back of his neck as he heard this and awkwardly responded, "I was going to pay you a visit, Old man Quan."
"I see that you are still as rude as ever."
"How can you say that?" Jie Fu Lian raised an eyebrow as he pointed out, "I used to be so respectful to you but then you were the one who turned against me and got me killed."

Jie Fu Lian shrugged his shoulders, not showing any intention of taking his words back.
Surprisingly enough, Sect Master Quan let out a laugh as a response.
"It’s good to see you alive again."
Jie Fu Lian couldn’t help but smile as he heard this. Sect Master Quan always had a fatherly warmth to him that made Jie Fu Lian feel at ease.
"It’s good to be back, old man."
"But I think you looked better eight years ago."
"I also think so," Jie Fu Lian chuckled as he casually replied, "But this demon king is also not that bad looking."
Sect Master Quan nodded his head as he agreed and turned his head towards Hua Tianshu as he asked, "Why are you here? I’m sure I gave you a case. Why aren’t you working?"
Hua Tianshu slightly frowned as he heard this and moved a little closer to Jie Fu Lian as he spoke, "I’m not leaving him alone with you."
Sect Master Quan clicked his tongue as he heard this and spoke, "Don’t worry, I won’t steal your man."
Hua Tianshu rolled his eyes as he heard this joke, not finding any amusement in it.
"Heaven’s eye was unrelated to the yan sect case," Hua Tianshu spoke up, immediately jumping onto business.
Sect Master Quan didn’t look to be that interested and patted the seat beside him as he looked at Jie Fu Lian and spoke, "Don’t keep standing there. Come over and sit. It’s been so long since I’ve seen you."
Jie Fu Lian happily skipped over and with his legs crisscrossed over each other, he sat down on the seat beside the old man.
Hua Tianshu immediately glared at Sect Master Quan, wanting to immediately expose the two-faced man.
"Now, what were you saying?" Sect Master Quan leisurely asked, looking at Hua Tianshu, "Who is Heaven’s eye?"
"Heaven’s eye is the one who killed Bai LiuXian. We are sure of it."
Sect Master Quan’s face turned a little serious as he heard this and he asked, "If it’s Bai LiuXian’s murderer, is it not the one who framed Jie Fu Lian?"
Hua Tianshu gave a nod as he confirmed it, "That’s right. He pretended to be Jie Fu Lian and murdered Bai LiuXian."
"Then how can you say he isn’t involved?" 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
"Because he had no reason to plot such an elaborate plan all just to kill Jie Fu Lian and destroy the Yan Sect. If he wanted to kill Jie Ming, he would’ve done it directly."
Sect Master Quan’s eyebrows creased together as he heard this and his eyes held an icy gaze that could intimidate anyone.
"If he meant no harm, why did he frame Jie Fu Lian?"
Hua Tianshu pursed his lips into a thin line as he heard this question and took a deep breath in as he shook his head and spoke, "I’m afraid I do not know."
"Hua Tianshu, do you think this man is a friend or a foe?"
Hua Tianshu once again fell a little speechless as he heard this question and only replied after a solid minute of silence, "I do not know yet."
Sect Master Quan sighed as he heard this, already having expected to hear such a response. He turned his head to look at Jie Fu Lian who was sitting beside him and asked, "What do you say?"
"I do not consider him a friend," Jie Fu Lian honestly spoke, "But I think it is too early to call him an enemy."
"Too early?"
Jie Fu Lian nodded his head, "Hua Tianshu has a way of contacting him and it seems that he has been monitoring our every movement. If I were to consider him an enemy, he would be a formidable one."
Sect Master Quan’s eyes slightly widened as he heard this and he immediately questioned, "He has been monitoring you?"
Both Jie Fu Lian and Hua Tianshu gave a nod.
"Without your knowledge?"
Hua Tianshu once again nodded his head as he spoke, "I only recently found out and that too, I believe was because he wanted me to find out."
Sect Master Quan frowned as he heard this but said nothing.
"It would be too dangerous to leave him alone," Hua Tianshu continued as he added, "But it would be useless if we are the ones that keep chasing after him. I think it would be better to give this case over to someone else who would not be monitored by him."
Sect Master Quan nodded his head as he heard this, agreeing with what Hua Tianshu had said.
"I am sure that the master of curses is working together with the Jin Sect and they were the ones behind both the Yan Sect case and Jie Fu Lian’s murder," Hua Tianshu informed as he added, "We would continue to search for more evidence regarding their relationship."
"You should be careful," Sect Master Quan reminded, "If it is the Jin Sect, you must be extra careful. If they were really the ones behind Jie Fu Lian’s murder, it would be dangerous to take Jie Ming with you. You can’t let them know that Jie Fu Lian has come back."
Hua Tianshu nodded his head as he agreed with Sect Master Quan.
"I want to go," Jie Fu Lian volunteered, "If it’s concerning me, then I should be the first one to go."
"They already killed you once," Sect Master Quan reminded the man as he straightforwardly spoke, "Do you think they would let you go the second time?"
Jie Fu Lian gritted his teeth as he heard this, "I do not want to live in fear nor do I want to let someone else fight for me while I hide away like a coward. Old Man Quan, I thought you knew what type of man I was. Do you think I’ll just stand back and watch?"
Sect Master Quan sighed as he met Jie Fu Lian’s eyes and gave in to the man’s stubbornness.
"I... Also plan to use Heaven’s eye," Hua Tianshu spoke up, hesitating a little as he revealed.
"Huh?"
"Although Heaven’s eye wasn’t involved, he certainly knows far more than us. His cooperation can be extremely helpful to us."
Sect Master Quan’s eyebrows creased together as he heard this and he immediately questioned, "What makes you think he’ll help you?"
"He will cooperate," Hua Tianshu firmly spoke with no sense of hesitation or doubt, "I’m sure he will. He also wants the real culprits to be caught and for the truth to be revealed. That’s why he’s still contacting us."
"Hua Tianshu, this Heaven’s eye sounds extremely dangerous. If what you say is true and he has been monitoring you in secret and purposefully contacting you now, I’m sure he is confident in his own skills and has nothing to lose. He sounds intelligent. Are you sure you want to trust him?"
"I would not be trusting him," Hua Tianshu clarified, responding without missing a beat, "I would just be using him for the time being."
Sect Master Quan sighed as he heard this, already knowing that he would not be able to talk Hua Tianshu out of this. Hua Tianshu was quite a stubborn man and Sect Master Quan, who had raised him since he was a mere baby, clearly knew this better than anyone else.
"Just... Be careful," Sect Master Quan spoke.
Hua Tianshu gave a small smile as he heard this and nodded his head in understanding.
"And What about that benefactor you talked about? Were you able to find him?"
Hua Tianshu shook his head, "I could not find him."
"Make sure to find him."
"A benefactor?" Jie Fu Lian repeated, feeling a little confused.
"Except for me and Sect Master Quan, there is also one more person who knows that you have possessed the body of the demon king. That person is probably the one who made it possible for you to possess this body and he is also the one who told me to look out for any strange movements from Changbo.
