"And What about that benefactor you talked about? Were you able to find him?"

Hua Tianshu shook his head, "I could not find him."

"Make sure to find him."

"A benefactor?" Jie Fu Lian repeated, feeling a little confused.

"Except for me and Sect Master Quan, there is also one more person who knows that you have possessed the body of the demon king. That person is probably the one who made it possible for you to possess this body and he is also the one who told me to look out for any strange movements from Changbo. Thanks to that person, I got to know that you had returned."

Jie Fu Lian’s eyebrows creased together as he heard this and for a second, he wondered if it was even a secret anymore if it was known by so many people. At this point, he might as well hold up a sign saying that he is Jie Fu Lian and still, no one would be shocked.

"That person is also dangerous," Sect Master Quan spoke up as he added, "If he could kill the demon king and find a part of your soul, there is no doubt that the person is stronger than us and possibly a danger to us."

"But we haven’t found that person nor do we have any clues to follow," Hua Tianshu quickly interrupted as he spoke, "So far, that person has not done anything wrong against us so I do not believe we need to prioritize the search for that person."

"You just don’t want to find that person," Sect Master Quan spoke with a sigh, exposing Hua Tianshu’s true intentions.

Hua Tianshu did not bother refuting it and nodded his head as he spoke, "I consider that person a benefactor. That person is probably the reason why I was able to meet Jie Fu Lian again and for that, I would forever be grateful."

Sect Master Quan shook his head in disappointment as he heard this, clearly showing that he did not share the same thoughts as Hua Tianshu.

Jie Fu Lian sat there with a seemingly blank expression, not taking either side.

Hua Tianshu, who noticed this, frowned a little as he asked, "What are you thinking?"

Jie Fu Lian opened his mouth and let out a sigh as he shook his head slightly and spoke, "I’m just thinking..."

"Hmm?"

"That benefactor... Could it be Heaven’s eye?"

Hua Tianshu’s eyebrows immediately creased together as he heard this and he looked a little unhappy as he asked, "What made you say that?"

Jie Fu Lian pursed his lips into a thin line as he thought about it for a few seconds and spoke, "It has to be someone who knows that I’m currently inside the body of the demon king and it also has to be someone who is able to kill the demon king. Doesn’t Heaven’s eye perfectly fit the bill?"

Hua Tianshu immediately shook his head, strongly denying it as he replied, "It can’t be him."

"Why are you so sure?" Jie Fu Lian couldn’t help but ask with a small frown.

"He isn’t as strong as the demon king," Hua Tianshu spoke, without any hesitation, "And he has no reason to bring you back."

"You are right, he might not be strong enough to beat the demon king," Jie Fu Lian nodded his head as he agreed and then continued, "But he is certainly intelligent enough to trick the demon king. If he was somehow able to trick Shen Fang, would it not be possible for him to kill the man as well?"

"That still would not explain why he would want to bring you back," Hua Tianshu argued.

"What if he is using us to catch the master of curses?" Jie Fu Lian asked, slightly tilting his head, "He might have brought me back because he wanted me to go after the people who killed me and destroyed my sect."

That awfully made a lot of sense but Hua Tianshu just didn’t want to believe it. He was feeling thankful towards that unknown benefactor but if it turns out that it was Heaven’s eye all along that was playing with them, he would certainly feel disgusted to even think that he was once grateful towards the man.

"I could be wrong," Jie Fu Lian quickly added, noticing Hua Tianshu’s sour expression.

"You could also be right," Sect Master Quan added without missing a beat, "it would make sense for that benefactor to be Heaven’s eye. If he isn’t the benefactor then he could be connected to the benefactor."

"Heaven’s eye doesn’t work with other people," Jie Fu Lian pointed out as he informed.

"There could have been an exception."

"I do not know Heaven’s eye but from what I do know, I do not think he would be the benefactor that brought Jie Fu Lian back to us," Hua Tianshu spoke up.

Sect Master Quan sighed as he heard this but said nothing.

Jie Fu Lian pursed his lips into a thin line as he spoke, "Although I was the one who said it, I also do not believe that there would be any big chances of such a possibility coming true. It would be better for us not to assume anything without proof."

"For the time being, focus your energy on the Jin sect," Sect Master Quan cleared his throat as he spoke up.

"Old Man Quan, I actually have an idea," Jie Fu Lian quickly spoke up, his voice laced with a little bit of excitement, "But you’d need to cooperate a little."

Sect Master Qua turned to face Jie Fu Lian and his eyes narrowed down on the man with suspicion as he questioned, "What crazy idea do you have now?"

Jie Fu Lian smiled, "We are going to kidnap Jin Shifeng."

"..." Sect Master Quan was clearly not the only one who was shocked. Hua Tianshu also snapped his head towards Jie Fu Lian with a shocked expression, wondering if he had somehow misheard that.

"Jin Shifeng knows the master of curses. We can use her to lure both Jin Long and the master of curses."

Sect Master Quan had a mixed expression plastered on his face as he wondered if he should laugh or seriously consider using such a method.

"That’s reckless," Hua Tianshu immediately pointed out, not feeling so happy with the sudden idea.

"It is the fastest method," Jie Fu Lian argued.

"You could be targeted for it," Sect Master Quan also pointed out, not wanting Jie Fu Lian to go through with such a crazy idea.

"That is exactly what I want," Jie Fu Lian replied, his lips curling up in a wicked smile, "At this point, I’m already the demon king so is it not the time for me to make use of this new identity? The demon king is already the villain so if he goes and kidnaps Jin Shifeng, would it be something new?"

Sect Master Quan’s eyebrows creased together as he heard this and he immediately spoke, "It’s dangerous."

Hua Tianshu nodded his head, agreeing with the old man. For the first time, both teacher and disciple had the same worried yet strict expression plastered on their face.

Jie Fu Lian chuckled as he saw their expression and confidently spoke, "Without a little danger, how can it be any fun?"

"I’ll kidnap Jin Shifeng and make her speak the truth. I’ll also need your help, old man. Invite Jin Long over and buy me some time to kidnap Jin Shifeng."

Sect Master Quan frowned as he heard this and felt extremely confused.

"While Jin Long is here in the HuiXue sect, he must get the news about his wife’s kidnapping and with the news, he would also get my message."
